ABOUT US: We’re traveling full time, living on our own terms and showing you the up-close-and-personal details of us figuring it out along the way. Sometimes it’s about navigating big, life-altering decisions. Sometimes it’s about navigating the seemingly lawless free-for-all that is driving in Hanoi. It’s moments of triumph and moments of panic.
The good, the bad, the ugly - and most importantly, the real and real funny. We’re not here to tell you “how it’s done.” Just how we’ve done it. And that whatever it is that’s calling you - the way you’ll do it is much more attainable than it may seem. We believe the world’s a more interesting place when people reject convention in favor of what they actually care about. This is us putting that idea to the test - one budget spreadsheet, RV renovation and mountain-peak drone video at a time.
Did you know we bought a house in Florida this year? Here's the tour in case you missed it: czcams.com/video/hbNDv0_g5I0/video.html
Awesome to see you guys back on the road. Have a wonderful stay in Colorado 😎
Wearing masks, making amazing vlogs, and owning a dog, makes you both rockstars in my books. Sending positive vibes and some Candian love 🙌🐶❤
It is so much joy to see you guys! You have such a positiv energy and your cuuuute little dog! Thank you so much for your fun Videos! Hello from Hamburg
Tim and Fin, love your videos! I’ve been watching you for about two years now. Sorry you’re getting negative feedback here for sharing your experience. I’m sure you’re both thick skinned by now, but I would just like to say don’t let the keyboard warriors bother you. Don’t be afraid to speak out if something really seems wrong to you. If someone would unsubscribe as a result, then they are the ones that will be missing out on the amazing content that you provide! Can’t wait for the new season!
Thanks for such a nice comment Scott!
I love a good road trip! Thanks for sharing. You're right about the Interstates...they all start to look alike. Pepper was a great pup on the journey 💖. Hope you have an awesome time on the slopes!!
Love watching your vids 🙋🏽♀️
Cool video! You both are so much fun!
👀👀👀👀👀👀👀 *10:45** . . . . well into minutes later 'I-HEAR-NOTHING' as*
*am transfixed by that wee PEPPER's fabbbulous face peeking out* !!
Legit ... don't even know what you were talking about, haha. Doggo had me hypnotized.
🤣😍😂😁🤗👀👀👀 *AGAIN . . . that PEPPER just innocently PHOTO BOMBING*
*the video the whole-way-through* !! I cannot even hear what y'all are saying and am
way into video now, haha.
Due to Covid our travels have been limited to the USA! We’ve had amazing adventures, Macon, Nashville, Ellijay, Ga. this won’t stop us! Nice video guys!
nice intro to this series! stoked for the rest 🏂
lol that was entertaining watching you guys look for the key. Were you two at all worried that neighbors would see strangers rummaging in the dark around a house? 😂
We discovered Candlewood Suites driving across country last year - great place with pets - only a $25 pet fee and very nice and clean.
Ooo!! Great to know, thanks so much!!
Tim and Allison (spelling?)- Thanks for a fun travelog. You guys are great! Stay well and keep on handyman!
Love your car license plate! I used to live in Osprey, now back home in Bermuda. Buc-ees looks amazing, though the lack of distancing and masks in that one is scary, an airport would be relatively safe in comparison. Happy trails.
LOVING the commitment and time put into that riddle scavenger hunt! By you guys and your sweet friend!
Also, please do a series around the great lakes!!! I'd love to see where you guys go around there! Your videos from Vietnam and around Asia inspired me for my trip to SE Asia and made it such a better trip for all the info I got from your content!
Stopped at Buc ees #51 at exit 144 near Macon today. Gas was $1.77. There had to be 150 gas pumps. The place is huge. But NOBODY outside were wearing masks so we didn’t go inside. 😷🙄😳😱. Just bought the inexpensive petrol & hit the road again. Stay safe out there.
Loved being on the road when I was in America with doing a few trips with trek America. I'm from Ireland, are roads here a re small. Love watching your adventures and your dog is the star of the show🐶
Absolutely 😂 🐶
We been there July from Jax to CO took 3days for us to drive coz we stop driving at night look hotel to spend night and continue at day time.
Cool! Pepper is ready!!! We have traveled plenty!! I miss road trips! Never heard of Buckys! In Georgia?? Must be new. Well, we travel 14 hours to visit family in Greensboro,NC. Also, hubby was in military so we traveled by car from Jacksonville, Florida to Seattle, Washington. Then we drove from West Coast to East Coast three times. It was actually a blur because it was a quick trip and not vacation. Btw, like the Toyota! I am wanting a 4Runner. My Acura sedan is not comfortable for travel. Plus we travel with our cat.
It’s a thumbs up from your friend here in North Carolina!
Holy Covid, Georgia! Glad you left. Thanks for continuing to post new stuff, guys!
I was a truck driver for 16 years and loved it! The scenery, the people, where I was sleeping and so on
I really like the room in your vehicle. What kind is it? I'm looking at an explorer or Tahoe but like yours. You're both tall & there seems to be plenty of room.
My wife and I are doing a 14 day road trip this month. We first found you guys while preparing for our Yellowstone trip in October. She bought us two of your bags and they are pretty cool. They are easy to store while traveling until you need them.
Enjoy your trip!! 🥰🥰
My mom just got back from Texas and brought me beef jerkey from buckees and its delicious and its one of my snack for our road trip this weekend from cheyenne wy to Orlando FL. We ski the rockies frequently and that's where my heart lives lol where did you guys go skiing??
Wow Allison, the clues for the keys in the Nashville was just amazing. For the rest I have enjoyed as it reminds me of a trip crossing USA as I went from Montreal to Acapulco when I was young married... Amazing 🤗🥂
FYI mask aren't required in Florida either and y'all should know that since you are from there. It is up to the business to ask people if they will wear a mask or not.
That's why you guys have a lot of cases there.... 'Murica!
@@ChrisDaron I find it hypocritical to be traveling during a pandemic and then complain about people not following CDC protocol.
and government should never be able to fine or arrest people for what they are or are not wearing on their face. I wear one every day as needed, but everyone doesn't need to or can't.... and again... government force is not the answer..
I have driven from Sacramento to New York City a few times
Yeah I went to buckees during the panny too and it was wild
Buc-ees..my first experience was the summer of 2022 while in TX...what a place!!
Boy........... that was a freaking long drive, I'm to tired to ski now. You guys have a good time and don't stay buried in a hole somewhere. Enjoy life. see ya, t
Interesting quest, how to hide a key for friends😁😁😁
Awww so glad Pepper survived the dog attack. Loving the road trip!
Tim is right,to the British it sounds fun, Florida to Colorado,a fun vacation! To you two a boring interstate exhausting trauma full of fatigue and fuel stops and the odd near accident 😬 drive safe have fun, best wishes ❤️✌️🇬🇧
I am with you 100% on everyone needing to do their part in reducing impact of COVID!
Nice to know that you drove with a rav4. I Did the same trip with the same car, back 2018.
Rav4 drivers unite! Seriously though, this little car is underrated. The AWD is so clutch in the mtns.
Anyone else from Aus and loving this vid?
Wow I am born in illonois grew up in indy n mostly michigan ...troy. Now in florida was spring hill but last year in hudson. I want to drive to montana my bro lives there ...go go if you ski to whitefish montana to big mountain to ski ...awesome. N yes up north mich picture rocks the falls the lighthouses awesome. Wanting a petowsky stone a pasty n some fudge and candied apricots from leland fish town....cool video stay safe.
Bucees! And that's a smaller one. I went to one that had double the pumps between Houston and Austin.
Cleanest bathrooms ever.
The only people who aren't ecstatic about Bucees are the ones who've yet to visit one :)
No charge for dogs at LaQuinta and they’re really nice !
Came here to say this. We did a cross country drive from Tampa to Vegas and back with two dogs, one of which was over 90 pounds. La Quinta's have really come a long way!
I appreciate y'alls patience....I would have been like "F this John! Where's the key!"
Great video guys! I fricken love Buc-ees!, but that was insanely busy, must have been because it’s new! We just did a little road trip in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma. No mask requirements in Arkansas or Oklahoma. Pretty weird to see people without masks being from CA. Hope you guys are well. Really cant wait to travel again!
Hey- our hype for Buc-ees is always 10/10. It’s something that we almost take for granted on the states , but kind of blows minds if you’re not from here.
If nothing else- always sparkling clean bathrooms which is nice on a long road trip.
Our driving limit is 4 hours. Just enough time to get to Key West. 🌴
We made this same drive!!!! It feels like forever ago now!
love the mountains - we dont have mountains here..
Very fun
I enjoyed your video very much as always. I didn't know you live South of Sarasota. I live in Venice, don't worry I respect your privacy. Enjoy your skiing. Pepper is the bomb!!!!
Omg guys! We totally had the same experience at Buckees, but it was in 2021! We drove from Florida to Michigan for Christmas. We wore masks 😷, got Covid anyways! Was it Buckees ?!? Lol we may never know. 🙄
At a certain point I was wondering if the neighbours would call the cops or you’ll decide to sleep in your car ! 😆
😂😂🥰
@@timandfin yes,..good thing they decided not to wear their masks at this point....
When I did my tour of the US in August, it was pretty crazy to see the drastically different approach to masks and personal space every time I crossed a state line. Then stopping at small towns that aren't off Interstates I got glared at for wearing my mask at a small town gas station in Minnesota like I was accusing them of being dirty or something, big cities in Montana were very on it, but when we stopped to eat at a small town south of Billings absolutely no one was wearing masks and we got the side eye for wearing them. On the other hand riding through Milwaukee and Chicago people were wearing their masks even just walking down the streets not just inside buildings. Businesses in Virginia were very conscious of cleaning and masks but then when I went to eat at the Outer Banks in NC the servers were standing around without masks on until they saw me wearing mine and then they put it on. It was very weird and just very interesting lol
The dirty looks and judgement are strange considering the mask protects other people- not yourself.
Wish it was the other way around then I think everyone could agree. Want to protect yourself- wear a mask. Don’t want to wear one? You do you.
Anyway, just typing out that comment was enough to bum me out. Motorcycles sure are nice though, right ?🤪
I’m finally ripping the back fender off my Bonneville in Jan. Might even wrap the pipes. Only been thinking about it for ten year. Little bit late to the cafe party but it’s time for a change!
Why aren’t all of the people not wearing masks not dying? Maybe, just maybe, the mask mandates aren’t based in science? Sheeple!
I like your videos. What do you do for a living to finance your travel videos? New houses...nice new car...you must be doing something right. 3 weeks in Colorado sounds $$$$.
Hey Shooter- Mostly we focus on eating pieces of sh!t for breakfast.
Secondly, we sell travel gear on Amazon and have a few other income streams. Don't worry though- we still love our $8 hotel rooms in Vietnam. There just isn't a cheap way to do skiing in CO though!
Meh.... I've been in different Bucee's probably 45 times since last May... usually with a mask... never scared.... never trying to get it.. never got it...... and any road trip across the USA is awesome... a great country to drive, especially outside of big cities....glad you have awesome friends to visit and hang with... makes things so much fun.... and Nolan Ryan is a Texas boy from Alvin, Texas and has lived in the Round Rock area for many years now.
Happy happy 🥰
As a Truck Driver I began to listen to Conservative Radio. the very tip of the heap for me is KSEV in Tomball Houston TEXAS, as you said of Buckies they're in TEXAS, I came off the road in 2016 ... so happy Georgia has one now! So sorry. for the Covid Terror LOL
My wife, Kim and I just drove from Colorado through Kansas City to St. Louis, but we tried something different because we'd gone through Illinois too many times. We drove south to Cape Girardeau, MO and crossed over to Puducah, KY. We ended in Nashville for 2 nights and explored downtown Nashville. We then drove to Ashville, NC and toured the Biltmore House. Then on to Myrtle Beach for a week on the beach. We enjoyed Thanksgiving in Charleston. You left on Friday. We left Charleston on Sunday and drove to Amelia Island for a night and then 5 nights in Daytona Beach. Since we went through Nashville on the way, we drove up I-75, but cut off to Montgomery, AL, Birmingham, the spent the night in a small town of Winfield, AL...It was a Hampton Inn (14000 pts). We played Tupelo Honey as we drove through Tupelo, MS and then spent the night in Tulsa, OK before driving the final leg back to Windsor, CO, 4500 miles. We missed Buckee's though! Enjoy skiing. I'd say, come on up to Fort Collins for all the Brewerys, but they are all closed.
That's a WHOLE lot of driving. I think we'll get to 4500 by the time we get back to FL though. I think the Buckees in GA is relatively new though?
Which country do you miss the most?
$1.69 for gas!! Thats so cheap lol, you guys should come to the UK you'd have a heart attack at the fuel prices😆
Cool video👍
Not sure if it helps, but whenever we fill up we' say out loud "MAN this is so CHEAP!" Of course the sticker shock is real when we travel- I think gas costs more when converted for dollars/pesos gallons/liters even in Mexico. Typically we're on scooters when abroad so it doesn't hurt as much!
AH, got so excited when you go the Impossible Whopper, but then didn’t even talk about it... :(
Haha nope, just subtle product placement, lol. Tim loved it!
I can't believe Jon's neighbours didn't call the cops on you guys!!!
😂😂 thank goodness!
Yep, USA is like a Flintstone background to me,repeating it self all the time! However, I’m kind of jealous of your road trip, can’t wait to be back on the road ! Thanks for sharing ! We enjoyed !
Oops! I meant keep on having fun! The auto spellcheck got me!
lol so the neighbors are not suspicious and might call the police? Haha!
Fun!! But driving for long stretches at a time does not sound fun. It would take me twice as long.
Agreeeeed but a 3 week rental car in CO was going to be too much. uuuggghh at least we made a video out of it haha
OK. Seriously, @TIMandFIN, I need someone to travel with who is as fun and easy-going as your two are. Where can I meet a “Tim”? :-) :-)
Not sure- I used to be a plumber so maybe in a manhole? On second thought, don't start looking for people in manholes.
Haters are going hate no matter what. Keep doing your thing. L0ve your vlogs!
RaceTrac coffee YES
Did you leave your car blocking the pump while you shopped inside?
Movie magic ☺️ nah don’t worry we’re not THOSE people. We were parked over by the dog run and like to run her first, then go inside, then pump gas ☺️
@@timandfin Thanks I'm glad to hear that with the editing it just looked different
We totally agree with you!!! Love you even more for speaking the truth. Don’t listen to the haters.
Can we have more Pepper time in the vlogs please❤️!
We're all about more Pepper.....thought we might be doing too much!
We love traveling domestically and internationally but for obvious reasons, we’re stuck at home. Routine is work, home, and grocery store. With the Covid-19 vaccine hopefully next year the whole world will be back to normal.
Fin, where did you find your tri- color thumb ring, please? Proud of you guys for being responsible and conscience about Covid 19. Thank you! I lived in Co. Spgs my entire adult life til I moved to Fl.
Found it online at Nordstrom Rack! 😍
I was waiting for one of his neighbors to come out with a shot gun. Or the PoPo to get called. Ha ha
Illinois my whole life and honestly, wouldn't live anywhere else, except maybe Michigan sw coast area! But yeah, I'm an hour outside if Chicago, and I wouldn't live south of I80(anywhere in the usa. No thanks.)
Well that goes to show how conditioned people can be to accept “the new normal” .
The new normal bet your a yank
@@briancohen1967 that’s why it’s in quotes. Half the country is loading their guns to make sure it isn’t. 😬
I was so excited, disappointed, and embarrassed, to see today’s blog. I was excited to see y’all went to Bucee’s, disappointed when I realized that I missed y’all by a day, and embarrassed to be a Georgian where if you don’t believe in COVID, you can’t get it. I apologize for my state’s ignorance. 😳
@@karenstevens5041 It’s not that people don’t believe they can get it it’s just that they don’t care if they get it.
@DroneSanity yup. Exactly
I saw your post on Instagram today. I’m sorry you’re losing subscribers. I’ve been a fan since finding this page, and although I agree with wearing a mask currently in crowded places, I was personally more annoyed with the length at which your opinion was expressed. Of course you have the right to feel uncomfortable in that setting, but it wasn’t awesome hearing y’all make fun of other people and their choices. As different those choices may be, making fun of people really set a negative tone.
I hope you get your subscribers back. ✌🏻
cool -
From someone that lives in Georgia, thank you for this video. It is beyond irritating to see people at the grocery store or out and about like nothing is happening. It is bananas.
@John Jones sure. Good talk, troll. Keep watching OAN and only caring about yourself. 💙
@John Jones Sure, sure. Again, good talk.
@John Jones Right. Damn science and thinking of others will just bite you every time. You are so smart.
Continue to live your life in fear and you will continue to be controlled by the media.
@@lancemcdonald2078 you are SO kind to reply. Really. Thank you. I can't think for myself, so this response is life changing.
That food looks disgusting? The riddle was difficult. What would have happened if your phone died? Safe travels.
Probably charged it..
I’m surprised the neighbors didn’t call the police. Lol.
😂😂🥰
Shout out to the A-Team making an appearance at 29:24
You guys are a lot of fun to watch, I’m new to your channel and I recently watched your entire Mexico trip (2plus hrs of fun) like watching a movie, greatly enjoyed it, thanks for pointing out what most of us already know, the COVID-19 super spreaders including the policeman you mentioned, no wonder we are where we are, stay safe and healthy, I’ve become a huge fan after just two videos. Good job guys....
5:15 wow
Would love to see you do an episode on the great state of Michigan. #puremichigan
America is awesome to drive thru. Check out some National Parks. I like your videos but am bummed out you feel that way about driving thru the USA.
We’ve driven back and forth across the USA in a RV. LOTSSSSS of road trips. This was more of an A to B trip to just get there.
@@timandfin that makes sense then. thanks for the info. stay safe!
2 years late but yeah many of my road trips are like this I really love the mountains tbh.
Gotta step it up. Tangerine Travels has my vote ... Be honest on your .experiences. Are they a yeah or nay not worth the trip!
yah we live in Texas and stopped in one between Houston and San Antonio and literally walked out. There were more people crammed inside than a clown car. masks, no masks.... makes you wonder.
Missouri never put in a mask mandate! So no one wears masks there but at Bucees in Texas you have to wear one. Texas still has state wide mandates for masks!
Sheeh... The good ol days when gas was $1.69... 😢
Fin, even without makeup on your absolutely beautiful. Sorry, Tim, you're a very lucky guy!
That’s very nice, thank you 🙂
Gas was 1$??? Wtffff we suck now
I'm so excited moving out of Florida to Colorado springs so ready for the road trip 😅
I love watching these degenerates. The new SNL without the acting. 🤣
I think it's your prejudice comment about the type of people you wouldn't think would be wearing masks, aren't wearing masks, that is turning a lot of people off. @5:45
Had you travelled the 10 through Florida, Alabama, Mississippi & Louisiana, you would have the Waffle House, Hardy's and Churches.
True Story- yet to visit a Waffle House though I’ve passed by them a million times. Gotta leave something on the “to do” list!
I drove from Az to Nh in June and trust me, I was shocked and me and hand sanitizer double mask , gloves were my friend, some Hotels were questionable. I flew back in Oct and felt much safer.
Pepper needs an instagram page.
And now you know why the.COVID cases are surging. 🙁
Yup. The idiots in the "Souf" won't get any smarter. Ever.
Skiing in Colorado is no good. Tell your friends. 😜
It IS terrible. We HATE Co but force ourselves to go every year. It's totally gross and no one should waste their time, especially at Keystone ;)
Explains why the US has so many cases. In Canada only a few people would be allowed in the store and all non essential items would be roped off.
You must be one of those Canadians that think Canada does not extend west past Thunder Bay. No ropes here in BC or Alta.
@@lhollybow The west is very behind on restrictions. Alberta just implemented a mask mandate; we have had it for months in Manitoba. We have been in a partial lockdown since early November and our cases are decreasing. Christmas will be catastrophic for the west if restrictions aren’t tightened.
