Hello everyone! New boss run from me. This game was released few days ago. This is a linear platformer made by JoyMasher (Oniken, Odallus, Blazing Chrome) so its quality is not the thing that anyone should worry about. It reminds me of Hagane (SNES) and some of Shinobi series games. I recorded most of minibosses skipping only those who did not have a "warning" sign and only lasted for a few seconds before being destroyed. My only complaint about this game is that it is too easy. Most of the times if you have full health you can safely mash attack button and you will win most of boss fights needing to dodge only a few of attacks. Also, all bosses have strict patterns with complete lack of random and you can easily memorize them. Overall, it is a good and beautiful game which you can spend a few evenings on. No, it doesn't "remind" you of Hagane, it's a shameless copy of Hagane, but mediocre and forgettable

This is like Hagane meets Shinobi 3 meets Megaman X and Zero with elements of NES' Mach Rider. Just like the X' series, you obtain new special attacks from the bosses you defeat and the names of the boss characters reminds me of Transformers.

Never heard of this game. I love side scrolling action adventure platform games, classic like Shinobi,Strider, Ninja Gaiden and ESWAT. This looks awesome.
The vehicle sections with the reticle were also a solid homage to Wild guns on Snes. EVen had the same hit sound for the enemies :)

I'll need to get the soundtrack for this, I was expecting repetition but there's a good varient of quality.
Arek's approach is very methodical. They attack only when the enemy is clearly open, and don't spam attacks when those openings appear, like I have a habit of doing. Watching this makes me think that with more discipline, I could beat Sunseeker. Thanks!

If the Genoqueen boss was not inspired by the female paradigm cyborg from Genocyber ep.1, I'll eat my non-existant hat. In fact, I get the feeling quite a few cyberpunk OVA's helped inspire the art design of this game. I really like the looks of this. Time to spend some disposable income I guess.

Actually their first game Oniken clearly inspired Hokuto no Ken and M.D. Geist which the latter was made by the same director of Genocyber Koichi Ohata, his name was even credited in Special Thanks at the ending credits of Oniken.

I would say, just by looking at this, more of a Hagane-like, but I'll have to see the full game to know for sure.
The game looks like it's a love child from a combination of random shinobi based games, mega man and contra.
If ya want some other cool stuff this reminds me of, there's my friend's games Jensen Strikes Back and The Ninja Gaiden as Interpreted by MiniMacro; the latter's actually a remake of the very first Ninja Gaiden!

I have no idea how you managed to defeat the Hydromancer. Every time he does that T-move my character is paralyzed in fear, unable to move or attack

Well, is not a FIRST shinobi-like, i mean: no multiple plans of action and no collect to clear, more a super shinobi or a Ninja gaiden style of action, with a bit of strider blended in

If you saw the whole plot, setting, the designs and game mechanics, not entirely, I also played Hagane a number of times and I can tell it's not even a purely blatant copy of the game. What's next charge no money on Tekken series since it was a blatant copy of Virtual Fighter?
