Exactly. It was a choice, not a mistake. Especially egregious is the fact that, after he got caught, he made the conscious choice to do it again. He is a CHEATER. He cheated in twice athletic competition and he cheated on Thais. Loser.

No. You can't become addicted to HGH. He kept using it because he would feel like he needed it to perform better to win. That's why any athlete uses performance enhancing drugs. Has nothing to do with addiction. He either thought he could get away with it the second time or he felt like the benefits outweighed the risk.
No addiction is indeed a mental illness and I humbly admit to having certain addictions. Case in point, I’ve found the best method of combatting it is finding an addiction that isn’t destructive. I have an addiction to certain substances and still consider it a work in progress. Group meets and positive alternatives have been the best managerial alternatives in my experience. On the same token, love at a time one is having addiction problems is definitely a bad time to commit and declare one’s everlasting devotion. Hopefully he does recover because addicts, in any form, I consider as human beings with similar complexities and I will always root for one overcoming a serious addiction problem. ✌️

No. You can't become addicted to HGH. He kept using it because he would feel like he needed it to perform better to win. That's why any athlete uses performance enhancing drugs. Has nothing to do with addiction. He either thought he could get away with it the second time or he felt like the benefits outweighed the risk.

No addiction is indeed a mental illness and I humbly admit to having certain addictions. Case in point, I’ve found the best method of combatting it is finding an addiction that isn’t destructive. I have an addiction to certain substances and still consider it a work in progress. Group meets and positive alternatives have been the best managerial alternatives in my experience. On the same token, love at a time one is having addiction problems is definitely a bad time to commit and declare one’s everlasting devotion. Hopefully he does recover because addicts, in any form, I consider as human beings with similar complexities and I will always root for one overcoming a serious addiction problem. ✌️

I think he should give weightlifting up if he feels he has to use drugs to compete, maybe be a coach or something at a college or start a training academy for youngsters that want to lift the right way!
