- Good news! Finally completed the review of my new piano. Sorry it took so long, but I was very thorough, and the beastly thing turned out to be over an hour and my laptop repeatedly refused to render it as a wholeđ, so I had to cut it into 4 parts: 1.Action. 2.Sound+ musical examples. 3.Features. 4.Cabinet, Resume + Comparison. So it is another (unintentional) mini-series.đThis way will also be easier for you to choose the parts you are most interested in, in case you do not want to watch the entire series:) Enjoy!
P.S. A typo on the last screen, comparing to CLP 775 in the next video, sorry for the confusion!

I tried to include all the information that I feel competent at delivering and consider important in choosing a digital piano. I hope this information will be of help to some of you, while you might be choosing an instrument without getting an access to it in person before buying.
Best of luck!

It is very kind of you, thank you for your nice words of support!! đđ»đđ©đ»âđ«đč
Thanks!
You can actually record directly to audio/wav by holding down the record button! Page 60 in the manual. No need to create the midi first.
Thanks so much for the reference! Noted!đđ
Yes! Im left-handed.
did you try the Kawai CA 701 recently? I wonder if you like Yamaha sound or Kawai sound... or Casio GP-310 Steinway and Bechstein sound
Thank you very much for this video it is really helpful... But what is the way to save these settings when playing the piano again?
Hey Khalid, unfortunately I also do not know how to save them, otherwise I would mention it in the video:(đ someone said it was possible, but I wasn't able to figure it out:( see if anyone mentioned it in the chat. I thought someone said something about it here, but I forgot who...sorry! Best of luck
Have you ever tried the Kawai CA 59? It's a direct competitor to CLP 745. Curious what you thought.
Thanks for your question. I tried CA 49 a while ago. I liked the action and the pedaling. I think this series is a very good instrument! Certainly a great choice for someone who likes Kawai. I personally prefer the brighter tone of Yamaha.
It seems that the type and dryness of the clutches are not good, even touch the lower model clavicles seems to me to be better.
Thank you so much for letting know about all setting info. But all my settings reset once i turned off Piano and turned on. Do you know how to save once you change the settings.
Thank you
Hi Sanjay! Unfortunately I have the same issue, and I have no idea how to save the setting either!đ© Someone mentioned to me once that it was possible, at least on the P515 model, so I'm assuming this one should be possible too, but they didn't explain how they didi it, so I still don't know,. sorry I couldn't help.
Pleas let me know if you figure it out!đđ»
@@Dariafortepiano Thank you for your response. Ok i will do some reseach on it. :)
@@Dariafortepiano I figured out the way to save your setting. You need to go to System -> Backup Setting->others->on. By default voice is on but not other settings. Hope this will help.... :)
@@sanjaydhami3430 Super useful! I hope @DariaPiano sees this
still on the fence between CLP 745 and Kawai c59 opinions appreciated Thank you
Few years ago, I wanted to get CA59, and I really think it's a great instrument, if you don't have an issue with Kawai sound being mellow. It has a better price point,I honestly think CLP 745 is overpriced for what it is. But for me the sound of CFX grand sample was a game changer, so I stick with YAMAHA. If you like Kawai sound, go with it. The keys feel nice, IMHO.
â@@Dariafortepiano thank you for replying its so hard to choose the pianos are in different stores but I leaning to 745 key texture and action with the solid lid seems to stand out in my memory Ill let you know thank you again
@@jamesnewberry2945 I understand the difficulty of choice. Best of luck!!
CLP 745 vs the kawai CA49?
They both are at same price in my place.
I feel like the clavicles are not normal in some wayŰ not like real or digitalŰ hand weight and touch and the size of the clavicle is a little unusual.
Thank you. Can you use Bluetooth midi out to interact with garage band on the iPad? So I can trigger external sounds or record with garage band?
I am not 100% sure, I would need to check the manual, but from my understanding the Bluetooth works only one way, making you able to play something on an external device through the piano's speakers.i don't think it works the other way around, where the piano would trigger external sounds. Maybe anyone else can confirm or disprove . Thank you!
@@Dariafortepiano thank you! I know you recommended saving for the 775. I read those keys are heavier than on the 475. Do you know if that would be. Noticeably worse playing those heavier keys? Some one said the keys are 80g.
