I've just finished assembling the Z Axis, marking the completion of the machining and assembly of the major machine components. The only tasks remaining involve installing and aligning the linear rails for both the X and Y Axis. My reasoning for starting with the Z-Axis was to use it as a fixture to align the X linear rails, and eventually, the entire gantry will serve as a fixture to align the Y linear rails. There's very little left to do now, and I'll soon be installing the necessary hardware to get the machine up and running. For a more detailed update, you can find a video on my CZcams channel via the link below.

Absolutely beautiful! I can only imaging the stress in tapping all those holes. My luck would be to get the last one then break a tap ;(

Thank you!😊 I did break one M5 tap but it was Carbon Steel. All My Tungston Steel taps have been great. A lot of people use the drill to do the taps but if you bottom out the drill will snap the tap. I've done 95% of my taps by hand and I've just tried my best not to rush things and be patient, which has served me well so far!. The X & Y linear rails will be the true test of patience!
