It's interesting that she got the birth cutscene she did because I'm pretty sure the game actually chooses which cutscene to play (the standard one or the alien one) based on the gender of the sim giving birth and I thought the game recognized her as male, so I'd expect her to have the alien baby cutscene.
Yeah it would have been interesting to see but unfortunately the camera ended up clipping through the kitchen wall but the sound effect that played is definitely from the standard birth scene. I always heard that her gender was set to male as well but I actually just looked this up on the sims wiki just now and apparently her gender being set to male and her age (which used to be set to adult,) was corrected later at some point after Nightlife (looking in the game files it does appear that her gender is set to female.) So I guess that explains that. The Hula Zombie's are still set to male though.

Video inspired me to make Mrs Crumblebottom (obviously not the NPC version) and Unsavory (also not the NPC) a couple in my custom hood I'm working on, and they'll probably be one of the only "normal" families in the entire 'hood.
On the topic of Unsavory Charlatan, I once added him to Olive Specters family and killed him. But when I used the mortality adjustors to spawn his ghost he started doing this weird dance and music played. When he went back into his grave music also started playing and made a weird yell. He didn't behave like a ghost at all, he basically carried on as he would idly on a community lot.

I was planning on seeing what happens when you kill various universal NPC's eventually but didn't really consider trying that with Unsavory Charlatan (I thought he was a universal NPC until fairly recently, but apparently he isn't and can only cause hood corruption,) but yeah I guess the scripted behaviour of NPC's overrides the basic ghost behaviour.

6:50 Exterminators are safe to add to a household, or have them on the lot outside of their in-game purpose, the only 'bug' (haha) that you may have is their Plumbob being in the wrong spot like the Repo-Man. I have experimented with CrumpleBottom myself in various ways and I have found the results to be very interesting. One of the things I struggled with when it came to her and another universal npc (The Witch Doctor) was killing them. I finally managed to do so with the Cow Plant and boy, that really messed her up. I then had an even better idea when I was playing John Mole, and I essentially did what you did in this video except I never changed her outfit back and I never married off her and John Mole. (I could not figure out how to get them engaged) It took two failed attempts, because she just had to keep leaving the lot, but she was finally able to give birth to a baby boy named Erik. Sometimes when I was in Downtown community lots, she would show up and i'd get the "this sim has died on another lot yadayadayada" message and she would fade away, while other times she would stay on the lot and preform her normal interactions. Sometimes there would be a handbag, other times there wasn't. Since the game recognized her as a ghost, she would also go through walls and float up and down stairs. I created the best cryptic possible and made Mrs. CrumpleBottom scary. Then I reinstalled Apartment Life and now my game will crash If I try to enter any household she is in or even click on a memory that involves her. So now I have to play chess when I pick a community lot Downtown, because I am pretty sure she will crash my game if she shows up. It is worth it though, I love corrupting my game. I just hope installing Apartment Life hasn't messed up Knut Futa as well. I still have plans for him and I want to finish his journey.

Also, I really love your Blightgate videos, they always manage to make me laugh and it's nice to see how you integrate the corruption into your neighborhood. And the Sims 4 cutscenes are such a cool idea!

The flashing texture thing is called pink/purple soup (well not officially lol that's just what simmers call it.) It's become a more common issue playing The Sims 2 in recent years with newer graphics cards, but when I was recording this video I also needed to replace my PC fan so was having some other issues also the insane lag that ended up happening.

Also when your sim gets stuck in the foundation you could fix that using "boolprop dormspecifictoolsdisabled false" to access Buy mode on community lots then "moveobjects on" to pick him up and move him out of the foundation
It seemed like the game was doing almost everything to stop them from getting together but it worked in the end XD I can't remember 100% because a while ago I downloaded some performance mods and then forgot about them, but I think the token pop up is probably from No Sim Loaded. Also thanks I forgot about that cheat that will be useful in the future.

Predicting the uniting with Charlie lol Also I wonder if it would be possible for toddler Crumplebottom to lecture someone, because others had the chance to flirt with her in her toddler form and she always hits the flirting person with her purse, so she could probably do it lol And your videos could be 2 hours long, I don't care, they're the best. No need to cut the beautiful process of pregnant ms Crumplebottom hahah
