I made a sim fall in love and then drowned them. Their lover was asleep and didn't get the memory so they don't care.
Now making that lover murder the entire neighborhood.
That actually make sense.

Oh yeah, the Jacquets peculiarity... I think Denise doesn't have a memory (or it's corrupted) of her husband being dead, so she rolls these kind of fears and wants. (UPD. Yeah, they mention Denise's lack of memories)
And empty thumbnails are pretty common in corrupted neighborhoods, I had them appear all the time when I used to do all the bad things with the sims when I was a kid lol
In the past whenever Denise would appear on community lots she'd constantly throw errors, apparently from her 'dead romance' with her husband, I never had the issue while playing with her family though. I only managed to fix it with the batbox.
I laughed way harder than i should at this butler's name.........
Played Tiffany Sampson recently. She doesn’t have a family tree in the default uni hood, but she does have a bunch of different relationships set up with the different sims in the uni hood that are missing here, most notably a crush on Castor Nova.
Also The Grim Reaper going to the toilet is a fairly common occurrence (he also goes to watch TV at times), though I’m pretty sure he only does these things if there are no sims left on the lot after a death. It’s really odd that he just vanished though instead of going to the toilet, which must be related to corruption or some other error.
Ah yeah I heard it happens with the Grim Reaper if you let all the Sims die in a household but wasn't sure how common it was. I've only had every Sim die a handful of times I think and he never ended up doing that in my game.
The worst glitch I had was my Sims would randomly change their skin to what looked like game code or a ram disk or something. I'd put them in the shower and they would be fine for a bit only for it to happen again.
Oh yeah I think I know the one you mean, it's like a placeholder error texture that can happen sometimes.
IIRC, Denise always has that glitch unless you use clean templates
I have the grey blob issue in my Pleasantview with Gunther Goth, and what caused it was my game randomly deciding to delete his grave. So annoying as I've tried so much to avoid corruption 😅
Ah that's weird if the game just did that, I think no unlink on delete mod can help with stuff like that if you don't already have that downloaded:

i had the opposite problem. i killed off a sim and i got two graves instead of one fir some reason
@@forestofsecrets7273 I’d say look into it, and _don’t delete either grave._ My first thought was, since the graves are still sims, that the character file duplicated, but it doesn’t seem like a thing that would happen..?

tiffany sampson is a sims 2 university sim, which is the pack that actually introduced LTWs, so she has a pre-defined one. she's supposed to want to be a mad scientist. allison's should be to become captain hero. they didnt swap but i believe the slacker one is rolled by romance/pleasure sims and the rock god one is rolled by romance/popularity sims.
i had a weird glitch happen when i was playing the ramirez family in bluewatervillage, i went to their family business and viewed the customers and one of the customers was suzanne jacquet who is deceased and once a sim dies that should disappear lmao
Yeah that is weird I've never looked at that before so I'm not sure if that's common or what happened there. You should check in SimPE if you still have that hood and see if she's still alive somewhere. Some of the deceased Sims in my Blightgate neighbourhood have been brought back by the game. Margaret Landgraab is in the pet adoption pool now D:

I just recently killed her off in my game and I noticed she had no memories and she had a fear from her husband so her data is just messed up
By the way, maybe Tiffany is a maid? Maids are usually at the top of the NPC list. You can also figure it out by opening her character file and checking if there's a sims 1 maid picture in her file. If it's there, she's also a maid.
I can't see any images of the Sims 1 maid, only a thumbnail image of Tiffany wearing her everyday clothes. I found her NPC type number though 0x002E and according to this list I just found she's an Animal Control Officer which is a bit creepy lol: simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=SDSC it often seems to connect back to the pets expansion.

Hmm Knut Hart, He could be somehow related to Bebe Hart from The Sims 3 as they both share the same last name. That just made me thinking lol
I don’t know whether this is relevant to the discussion about disappearing beds, but I have an invisible piano and an invisible dog house in my game. I don’t know how it happened; I can’t put anything else in the place they’re technically in, and sims can use them autonomously and I can’t click on these objects or move them. I don’t know what to do honestly.
Oh I wonder what made them invisible I don't think I've had that happen before. Have you seen anything else weird in your game? It could be a weird graphics side effect but I haven't heard of that before or a mod conflict could also be game corruption. I'm not really sure what the side effects of game corruption are but I know sometimes it involves objects behaving weirdly like someone talked about objects walking by the House as though they were Sims. I haven't heard about invisible objects though. The bed didn't end up invisible since I could put a new bed in it's place it just kind of disappeared entirely. I think it must have been deleted by the game.
The gray blob copying family tree thing happened to me yesterday because I tried to resurrect darling dreamer with the scythe that comes with the SIM manipulator but the good thing is it's a clean install neighborhood plus I quit the lot and didn't save so everything went back to the way it was but yeah it is pretty funky don't do that don't try to resurrect her that way it doesn't work her gravestone disappears in her picture becomes Gray you click on her and it just copies whoever is the last person you clicked
How does the swapping of dna even happens? Shouldn't it be tied to a sim or something?
I don't know all the technical details, I think maybe Mootilda on modthesims might have explained it a bit in a few threads before she passed away though. But basically from what I know when a Sim is deleted they're not 100% deleted, so some of their data is often left behind and can end up getting attached to another Sim's file instead.

Oh yeah I post there occasionally. I wasn't planning on including that in a video at first but then later I ended up recording the Grim Reaper being weird and wanted to do something with that footage lol.

I never got those fears anyway ‘catch x cheating’ I’m not saying it doesn’t happen, but that feels like a developer thing. A bit like Daniel has a fear of specifically Mary-Sue catching him cheating and it’s just a picture of her face as the icon when playing the Pleasants.
Also a side note, I hate the way that sims unlink on family tree when they die. The pre made is way better.
It would be funny to get a good memory from being cheated on 😆

I was planning on doing one before although it wasn't really intended to be a normal kind of lets play (it was going to include a relation of Pollination Technician 9, who is mentioned on some ingame artwork but I haven't thought that idea through yet.) I made the combined Pleasantview and Strangetown hood mentioned in this video just so I had one to play casually but then so many crazy things have been happening I've been mentioning it in videos anyway. :') (something else crazy happened at the Beaker household after playing this household too.) So I almost regret not making that a series now, but on the other hand I still like having something that I can just play casually whenever I want without recording and stuff.
I'm contemplating making a Veronaville series at some point though just because I've noticed Sims 2 lets players don't tend to make videos about Veronaville for some reason and mostly focus on Pleasantview and Strangetown (or in some cases combined versions of both.) I think the other two are more popular though. But yeah at the moment it's just finding time to do various things. I'm also working on a Sims 1 console game lets play right now. 😅
I constantly get an Attraction score error every time Denise is on a lot
Have you tried having a uni sim try the "join greek house" scenario to see what would happen? Or is that not even possible? I feel like that could be interesting 😆😆
I think I did in another video actually maybe when Garfield went to uni, but I can't remember if the corrupted Greek houses showed up in the phone book or not now. I ended up getting him to join one of the new ones I'd made before I noticed the corruption and rebuilt the neighbourhood. In the neighbourhood view the Maxis Greek Houses still show up as Greek houses though which is weird, just all the Sims have disappeared.

A weird question popped up in my head from watching your video’s. What happens when a sim that is an occult dies ?(for example a werewolf). What will there gosht be like?
I'm not sure if I've looked at any occult ghosts before actually. I have had some vampires die by sunlight but don't remember looking at their ghosts. Werewolves have two forms so it might depend on if the Sim is transformed when they die, but I haven't seen werewolf ghosts in game. I imagine the occults like PlantSims keep their features though.
i've seen that floating heart icon in tons of your videos and it's really got me curious, is it a mod?
Yeah it's part of the InSimenator mod there's a single object which is a clone of the biotech station career reward object but you can also download it as a bunch of separate objects that do specific things because it's a big mod and the floating heart one changes Sim relationships. It's unsupported now, but I find there are things it can do sometimes that Sim Blender can't and vice versa so I still like to use it.

Yeah I think what happened is all of the Sims were deleted somehow when the subhoods failed to be created properly (I'm not sure why that happened though,) so it was basically like 100+ Sims had been deleted or partially deleted from the game from all the subhoods I added, and deleting any Sims is a bad idea let alone that many lol. I wish I knew what happened more from a technical perspective but I only noticed much later and so just piecing together from what I can see now.
@ramen I'm not 100% sure but whatever happened I think happened fairly early on because the Sims were never there when I loaded any subhoods. It is possible that the Sims were deleted after a crash or something weird happened after creation though. Also a lot of the subhood Sims have the name they have in the game files instead of their name being randomly generated as it usually is.
@@CalipersandTongs im so late to this comment thread but its fascinating. i accidentally left simpe open once while making families in a (thankfully empty) hood and when i quit out of the game, the clashing permissions caused them to get shredded. i was kind of bummed that i couldn't salvage their appearances lol but they kind of ended up shells of sims similar to dead sims and i imagine they wouldve been partially overwritten and merged if i loaded it back up and continued making sims.
Yes I found this out the hard way when Gilbert slapped his mom and bf when she had her first kiss lol
