The Mini-Buggies and the Toyota Hilux's are so different they probably should be different classes.. either way I love Dakar.
The Minis used to be the same as the Hilux, 4wd, shorter suspension travel. They won plenty of times with that as well.
Back then no, there pretty much the same, but now, i don't even know that the thing is a bloody mini without the MINI word infront of the grill, and it doesn't even look like a mini like the hilix which still looks like a hilux.
That's the beauty of Dakar, different cars competing in the same class. It will be crazier in 2022

Wouldn’t the coil spring have potential energy?
It collects potential energy when compressed after landing. And then it releases it during the rebound.
It would be cooler if they found someone who actually knew what they were talking about.
