Mr Tug, did you ever find the thief that hit your camp? That’s never acceptable. You always take care of your girls, your the man! Thanks
The cops found the guy but botched the investigation
I love the channel my friend. Retiring in about two years and am looking forward to replicating the lifestyle. Continue to give the Lord the glory and he will continue to bless you and your family!
Best of luck! I wish I was actually retired!
My Grandma ran a 500 acre farm in the Missouri Ozarks that had beast sized frogs. She was also a miser. She would put me and my brother in the front of a john boat and have us out at night catching hundreds of giant frogs by hand. Shed clean and freeze them with pork fat, ready to be cooked up. Shed have us out shooting squirrels turkeys and rabbits too. She basically used us to get all her meat for the whole year. Shed trade it for eggs and essentials at the store. However, she always insisted on having a brand new loaded Buick Park Avenue, or whatever the most expensive Buick offered that year was. Yet she would steal loads of condiments, napkins and sporks from Kentucky Fried Chicken. Yep, we used plastic sporks at her place. She taught me sooo much! Really, it was just organic, i never remember being taught a thing. I dont remember my first time fishing hunting or cleaning a catch or kill, we were always around it.
Sounds like a cool old lady!
Grand Good saying grace .. kinburn Ontario Canada.

It's 3 a.m., Sunday morning and I'm watching you gig frogs.... Life is good
What else does anyone do at 3am??? 😆
@@TugTrashOutdoors As kids we would watch the info commercials.... It has now come to this....
Worst part is that it's 3 a.m. and I'm hungry...
Love the channel
Sardines is my date of choice winner every time
Try canned Sardines in oil for raccoon bait...or some bait 🍤 shrimp they'll come from 3 miles around 😂...and they are cheap too 👍They are like us...love that seafood 😋
Good tips. Because they eat so much corn at my lease corn works really good
Tug I love your Videos, you're such a down to earth individual and a Master Chef in your cooking....
Thanks so much
Hey tug and family, in 2000 I lived in Orlando and became friends with a bunch of good ol boys from Live oak. They took me to do all the fun stuff our kind does. They introduced me to Everglades seasoning and I never looked back. Being from Pittsburgh, we don't have it here but I still order it every year by the big jug. Awesome channel, love watching all the adventures keep up the great work. Ps, take some of that pepper jelly and put it on a block of cream cheese and smoke it. Omg fat guy cooking!!!
Yum
Awesome video! I like the blessing! Thanking God for what he has provide, and the people you shared it with! God bless ya'll!
Yes! Thank you!
Man frog legs are so good, been a while since I had some
Oh yeah!
I have that same exact .22 rifle. I got it as a Christmas present when I was young. Awesome. Love your videos and am learning a lot about cleaning and cooking what you catch.
Stuffed turkey looked great. Frog legs taste like chicken on a fish diet to me. Love your videos.
So good
Another great video! Those frogs are huge. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for watching!
Dat Louisiana Life channel ketch dem frog by hand! No worries, I think your frogs had bigger legs. Yum, yum, yummy! Keep on! Really enjoy this channel. Thanks for sharing.
Frog out in the open on weeds are easy to catch by hand, ones back in the bushes not so much
@TugTrashOutdoors Turns out Dat Louisiana Life is a fan of yours! Said he just watched you. Cool. And yes, you are right. You're using the right tool for the job at hand. Keep on. Know folks enjoy y'all.
@@pamartin dat life is killing it! We watch them too
Congratulations on the Double Beared Turkey 🦃! Frogs looked delicious...Another great video Ian! Have a great Sunday
Thanks! You too!
Hey Ian, I enjoy watching your videos, gigging for frogs is a lot of fun, it makes you feel like a kid again. But next time you go frogging use a fly rod to instead you can actually catch them like a fish, which is a lot of fun also.
Thanks for the tip!
Elastin is the silverskin and also the membrane (connective tissue) around some muscle. The only time I like it left on is when cooking hump meat from a Brahman bull over an open fire. I suck at using the spade skewer, and it's easy to eat around.
Interesting
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Stan
Congratulations on the double bearded turkey! You'll catch more raccoons with sweet stuff. They will always go after what is sweet.
Greetings from north Florida! Looks like a good time. Thanks for taking us alone. And, oh yeah....BACON! That is all. Carry on.
Thanks for watching!
Man Ian you killed it in this video ( literally ) congrats on your double beard turkey 🦃
Thanks man
What a fabulous looking dinner! AMEN! New subscriber! 😎
Thank you!
You got it going on lad you're doing good on your videos you go son. Till next time stay safe and healthy see ya Ian.
Thanks man
We always used sardines for raccoon bait
Bacon is the work of god for sure!!!!
Yes ir
Ian great video. love frog legs. I was thinking about something for the raccoons for bait. Go buy doz gold fish and use that for bait. They are bright orange and smell of fish may bring them in. who knows that may work. Been busy with work.
Great idea
Hey Tug, , watch Cole and Jay jig fishing frogs. Also Tim Wells, blow dart frog hunting catch and cook.. My challenge too you.. Will watch both videos!!!
Good double beard!!!
Good times ... The food looks amazing ..... PEACE !!!
Thanks
Never had frogs on the grill. Always fun to catch! We always had em fried. Don’t bother will frogs 🐸 at a restaurant, wild caught is the bomb !!
100%
Looks like your hunt camp is in the Longleaf Pine Ecosystem. Those raccoons also prey on the Gopher Tortoise, a keystone species for the Longleaf pine ecosystem.
Yup!!
Busy week getting the boat ready up here in CT, but finally had some time to catch up on this week's video. Gotta have my weekly TTO fix. Thanks again!
Thanks man I hope the boat was as ya left it last summer!
Food looks amazing
So good
use a bit of tuna on the tree for sent
I will be doing that pocket turkey. Season has started here in Michigan 🦃
Good luck!

Yes yes yes, my dude is back and so am I! Time to learn and enjoy

Just took a trapping class And all the instructors use marshmallows, they used two of them one in there and one on the top after it was set
I learned from a guy that traps for a living. When I did what he said I caught much more.
everything looked great
Thanks
I am all for getting them raccoons! ( I use to work for Marion County Rabies control) I love Everglades seasoning!

Good luck on your last turkey hunt, and congrats on your double bearded turkey!!! Love from Lakeland Florida

Amazing video! 💯👍
Thank you! 👍
@@TugTrashOutdoors your welcome 👍🏼
Good video Ian!! Can't wait till the next one. Stay safe out there. Try can cat food to catch your raccoons. God Bless 🙌 ❤
Thank you, I will
If you use marshmallow put some vanilla in a spray bottle and give it a little spirits around your trap
Nice
Aloha. Haven’t had frog legs, or gator, or stone crab, and a whole lot of things since I left Florida.
Gator isn’t that great imo
@@TugTrashOutdoors Aloha, and I agree. Would never hunt one for food. Same with sharks. But that marmalade/horseradish dipping sauce was the bomb. Some little restaurant in mycanopy.
And I apologize to the town for misspelling their name.
You bet congratulations
Good morning Ian my name's Bobby me and my wife enjoy watching your CZcams channel used to work on tugboats myself chief engineer for Moran towing retired now live on Okeechobee. Seen your truck on the show. Would like to put the lift equivalent to yours in my 21 GMC. Any info on lift and tires would be appreciated. PS hopefully you're going to get to do what you love without working on the tug. Time with family is precious!
I believe isn’t a 7” lift with 35x12.5xr20
I bought it with the lift on it so idk what brand
Thank man
Sinew! All the tough whitish skin is still called silver skin even on a turkey
Aloha. Why are we attracted to the same channels? Did you see Reed’s latest? Have a great day.
Wild turkey is way more tender when ya trim it all off!
An old timer recommended I use mini marshmallows and never had a reason to try anything else with the success I had with them. Beauty of a long beard(s) and nice pile of frogs Tug. Great vid!
Thanks
Another great video!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow! Taking me back when I was younge! Fried frog legs are my favorite!...we had eastern and Rio grande Turkeys on my lease......
Awesome! Texas?
No....30miles north of Anntlers Oklahoma....in the Kiamichi mountains.....
I've ate both each way and their always good, thanks again for a great trip
Glad you like them!
I butterfly turkey breast, stuff with boudin, couple pads of butter wrap in bacon and smoke. Make a fine turd.
Yum
I need to catch some of those frogs and let them loose in my ponds. I think frogs are one of my favorite game meats.
Yes you do!

another great video my friend, my wife is a fried frog leg only eater. I like them any way I can get them.
I’ve only ever had them fried till now
Didnt get the notification for this and damn that annoys me! Cant wait to get into this one. Any chance there may be another camping video in the near future? I know its probably too hot, I dont even blame ya. Hopefully in the winter though! Check out Ten Thousand Islands around Naples, thats a dream camp area for me in the next 5 years!
Probably when it cools off! Thanks
Great video, Tug ! I've never been turkey hunting, but I think this next season im gonna give it a go. Keep up the good work, man!
Do it!
I enjoy watching your videos but when you cook up your catch you make me hungry. Next time you go after racoons try name brand dry cat food with a little oil from à can of sardines good hunting
Will do
Maybe just use some kitchen scraps
That would be cheapest
Will tell you again…… raisins, covered in raspberry Jell-O powder…..
Great video .... ive never had frog legs but maybe id try em lol
You should!
Great Video, God Bless!
