- On our third day off-grid camping we are back on the coins with a couple of Australian pre-decimals, dropped long after the town was abandoned. We have a second series of videos coming from a return trip to this site where we get some great finds and further explore this remote and long-abandoned township. Thanks for watching and commenting and Happy Fossicking! Warren and Colleen.

Great video as always. The first item may be a lock slide. The thing that covers the escutcheon / key hole.
Thanks for the comment on the lock slide/keyhole cover - all the best and Happy Fossicking! Warren and Colleen.
I love these videos! When I hear you speak of putting the billy on it reminds me of a song we used to sing in grade school back in the 1960's, I think it was called Waltzing Matilda. I live in Western New York State. One of the lyrics mentioned the billy boiling. Thanks for another interesting video.
Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment - yes that would be 'Waltzing Matilda' with the billy boiling LOL. All the best and Happy Fossicking! Warren and Colleen.

Wonder if the first item is for threading sewing needles, the little thin wire in the end has gone ? ( needle threader )
Thanks for watching and commenting Brian - appreciate your input on the needle threader - that's probably what it is as it is only pressed metal. All the best mate and Happy Fossicking! Warren and Colleen.
Fantastic video! Congrats on your finds Warren and Colleen! One quick question, do you still have the old billy you used years ago in the past videos?
Thanks for your comment Chris - yes we still have the old beat up billy with the wooden handle, retired to a shelf in the shed LOL. Happy Fossicking mate! Warren and Colleen.
Hello Warren an colleen just wondering, do you keep what you find or leave it where you find them? I personally would keep them to perseverance them from rotting away. I love history your doing my dream lol. Great video guys im glad im subscribered to your channel.
Thanks for the comment Bill, yes we keep the best of the relics, most of the iron items we leave where we found them, depending on what they are - as you point out, it will be all rotted away in another hundred years! Happy Fossicking mate! Warren and Colleen.
