So in the credits, those are real Osage dancers, when the camera rises above, my son was part of the dance, for the credits, this was a great experience for the Osage indians, to be a part of. The history of the Osage nation was sad and ignored, this was a huge deal that was swept under the rug, hopefully the Osage people will get their recognition they well deserve. I have to also say I respect Leonardo DiCaprio, him and his girlfriend came and sat with my son's father's side of the family during their yearly traditional Osage dance a couple of years ago, he was very interested and intrigued by them, he asked a lot of questions about their tradition's...

Wow, what an honor for your son. I have to be honest and admit I am envious; in my opinion Martin Scorsese is our greatest living filmmaker. Your son was very fortunate to work with him.
I'm glad your experiences related to the production all seem quite positive. I've read Scorsese really bent over backwards to make sure Osage culture and history is portrayed accurately. I'm very confident this moment of your people's history is in good hands.

I know they worked together before but it’s amazing to see Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, 2 of Martin Scorsese’s leading men, together in one of his feature films. This looks like another masterpiece!
They were also in This Boys Life when Leonardo was a kid and De Niro already knew Leonardo was going to be a star.
I love De Niro, but DiCaprio is the superior actor.

Everyone is talking about Leo and DeNiro , but nobody here is appreciating the bgm score, especially the music composer. What a Background music. What a teaser , a perfect teaser incorporated with an outstanding bgm. Kudos. Eagerly waiting for its release.

I can't get enough modern western themed period pieces like No Country for Old Men and There Will be Blood. This looks very promising. Especially when even the supporting roles are greats like Jesse Plemons.

This trailer has such a massive change of tone from the first one. Not sure which one I prefer but Scorsese is the only guy that put out multiple 2 to 3 minute trailers and not give the movie away at all. He just did it with the Irishman.
The first trailer felt like it was made by a professional baby boomer filmmaker. The second trailer felt like it was made by a amateur Gen Z tiktoker.

The first one is one of the best trailers I've ever seen. The tone of it, everything was put together perfectly.
I also noticed the massive shift in tone, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but I kind of don't like this trailer.
_The previous_ one was, in my opinion, brilliant. It blew me away. It was lyrical and haunting and subtly powerful. In my opinion, Martin Scorsese is our greatest living filmmaker, so that was a trailer I'd been anticipating for a long time. It didn't disappoint.
But _this trailer_ doesn't land as well with me and the problem is primarily the contemporary music. It really really bothers me. Personally I just found it jarring. Jarring enough that it essentially ruined the entire trailer for me.
The film itself still looks amazing though. I can't wait to see it. God willing this music is saved solely for the closing credits or something.
Regardless, there isn't a film this year I'm looking forward to more.

Many of my favorite trailers have been for Scorsese films, "Raging Bull" in particular.
The trailer for "Silence" is also quite good. I remember watching it half a dozen times the day it was released (another Scorsese film whose trailer I'd been waiting forever for.)

I'm more excited for this movie then I've been excited for a film I such a long time. The fact that M.S. has been trying to make it for like 25 years. The amazing cast, one of the craziest true stories I've ever heard.

As a Scorsese fan, this movie could be his best yet. He clearly put his heart and soul into this one and you can just feel it by watching this and the teaser trailer. This film is about to be a one epic ride and possibly a farewell from Scorsese. Scorsese, De Niro and DiCaprio for sure will get Nominated at the Oscars, that is my prediction.

What's the point of talking about the best when talking about an author with a 50-year career behind him. Of his post-2000 works perhaps only The Irishman is in the top 10, this is to make it clear that there are huge and historicized works before.
@@danielgray8053 I just have that feeling, something about the way this trailer played out to me just seemed to be flawlessly directed, of course we got to see the final product but for now I will stick with my prediction. For me Goodfellas is probably still my favorite Scorsese film. After Goodfellas, probably... Shutter Island or Silence, but then again I have a soft spot for Wolf of Wall Street and Color Of Money... Man when you think about it Scorsese has done so many great films.

This movie reminds me of a Matt Braun novel. That particular story, "Black Gold" is a paperback I've got in my home library.
If I were to choose between Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino I would pick Scorsese all day as my number 1 pick.
No one's forcing you to compare them. So you can go ahead and stop picking imaginary choices and enjoy both their works. Its not sports!

Tarantino for me but they are very different tbh, i just prefer QT's style, Scorsese has like a handful of my favourite movies too, such as Casino, Cape Fear ect...both the very best at what they do!
