Great videos I had just called someone (general country store) to see if they replaced screens. No they don't, then I found you and watched both videos. Thanks for making them.
I like your teaching video.what is solution of stain and rusty spots in between double pane windows. I had one patio door and now seeing starting in other windows. Thanks
Alex, I know that you are professional in replacing, building screens, but you need to turn your volume up to hear your demonstration technique would be helpful. I want hear to be able to learn to replace my screens at home.
@@AlexRubioRQualityGlass thanks for the video! I'm an audio guy. Try running your videos through Auphonic.com. It won't fix the broken phone but it'll turn it up and make it sound a lot better and easier to hear. I think it's free for 2 hrs. of audio per month or something like that.
I am trying to add screen repair and replacement to my glass repair business and need some help from you. What screen frame sizes should I have on my truck to get most common jobs done? 5/16”x 1”? Also, what spline thickness should I carry for most screen jobs I would run into? .140 .175? I am mostly running into vinyl window, aluminum windows and old hung wood windows. I am grateful for any help you can give me. Thanks
Tom Adams honestly if you are doing a lot of screen repair I would do one of each or 2 of the 36 and one 48. We do more in shop screen repair and we use more the 36”
DrTerminus they might have it but if not your local window or glass shop. I haven’t shopped at Home Depot for my materials being I work in a glass shop.
I've run into many plastic corners that have a spline groove on one side only.. worth mentioning 👍😎✊

Ha, nice!!
Great info, thanks a lot. If it was for your house and you had vinyl windows, which coroner would you use?
The white plastic corners
Thank you
What tool do you use to cut the frame to size? Thanks!

If you have stains and rust is because they have already began to leak honestly to get rid of that you’ll just have to replace them
What do you use suggest using to cut your angles?
katytaters chops saw works best with a blade for metal or aluminum.

Tom Adams screen frames most commonly use is 5/16 and the spline I think we use most is .150
Tom Adams every once in a while we use 3/8 frame for screens but that is for older windows
alex rubio thanks for the help. I am really grateful. What width rolls do you suggest I carry on the truck? 36” 48”?

Thanks, If your near Los Angeles I need 4 IG’s @ approximately 18”x 30” for a job in Norwalk on Friday. How much you charge me to make them?
Where would I go to purchase the materials for a screen frame? Home Depot?

How do you keep the center of the frame from bowing in when the screen is installed in the frame?
I have a another video where I show you how to rescreen a screen and I go through the steps of how to prevent that
