What an absolutely beautiful video, I watched some of it at 3/4 speed to take in more of the details and views. This video had me fondly remembering a recent visit my wife and I made with good friends to the Biltmore. It’s clear to see Michelle was moved by the experience, I’m so happy for you both, you should do a Traveling to the Grand Hotel in Michigan.
Michelle had a fantastic time and being with great friends made it so much better. We have thought about the Grand Hotel but definitely will fly in to the closest Airport and rent a car. The Biltmore was truly breathtaking and we would love to visit during the holidays. Hope you are doing well and have a great rest of the week
I second this suggestion. A visit to Mackinac Island and the Grand Hotel. A wonderful walking island with delicious fudge. Your background music must be the exquisite John Barry score from "Somewhere In Time."

It was a fantastic time for sure. The driveway alone is 3 miles. We did the tour and they told us we only seen about 30% of the house. Hope you both are doing great..

We love The Biltmore! We had one of the best brunches we’ve ever had there. It was before the virus hit, so I’m not sure they still have it.
Guys I highly recommend that you go back during Christmas. It’s so beautiful. So many Christmas trees and they sell hot chocolate and apple cider. 😊

So glad you got to come up to my neck of the woods. Candlelight tour during holidays is a must and also check out antler hill village. There is a little museum and more shops and dining. Such a great day.

Love the Biltmore. We go often since moving to SC from WI. It is an easy drive. Gorgeous at Christmas. The gardens in spring. If you hit the azalea garden at just the right time it is like walking in to a Monet painting. The Stable Cafe is wonderful. All the restaurants and shops are. Thanks for taking us along!
It was absolutely stunning. I bet during holidays and different seasons it is even more incredible. Ya for an extra 100.00 we could have bought a season pass. I can’t begin to fathom how wealthy one would have to be to have an estate and house like that!! It’s mind blowing!!! Gotta wonder, with all those rooms, how many did they actually use, let alone see more than a couple of times.

Thank you for sharing your trip to Biltmore! We were so excited to watch a Biltmore Christmas on Hallmark after your fantastic video! The movie replayed on Monday night, and it was excellent! Many locals were actually hired as extras. Also, Jonathan Frakes from Star Trek and The Walton's is the tour guide of the Biltmore in the movie. Hope you had a chance to see it, if not I highly recommend it! Now we may just have to go visit Biltmore. Have a great week!

Great video! We’re from North Carolina and have visited the Biltmore several times, usually in the fall with all the beautiful fall foliage and the gardens filled with hundreds of mums! Spring when the Azalia are all blooming is also a good time to go.

Back then they built stuff that lasted....unlike nowadays where things arent made to last as long. Every year we have cruisin the coast with all the old cars from like the 50s and 60s...and maybe 40s?

I have been to many stately and historical homes in the UK, and Biltmore is just a lovely and wonderful as they are. When I have visited such places, I can instantly judge on the vibe of it, meaning if it is a place I would feel right at home in or too cold in taste and style. While I have never visited Biltmore (I hope to do so one day, especially at Christmas), it feels to me like a beautiful family home that I would be honored to live in, especially that library, which I would never leave. I am so happy you had a great time and look forward to the next part of your adventures. Take good care of yourselves and enjoy your day!

Very beautiful home, reminds me of some of the stately homes around where I live in England. They give tours to help pay for restorations and upkeep of the home.
The gardens at some of the homes are absolutely gorgeous, one near me has wild deer reserve, and the home is very similar to the home you visited. ( Petworth Park )

I am a fan of architect Richard Morris Hunt, who designed so many wealthy homes in New York and Rhode Island. The Châteauesque design of the home was a bit of a departure for Hunt and he took inspiration from French Renaissance châteaux. The home & gardens are just magnificent. It was an absolutely beautiful experience and can’t wait to go back to explore more. Hard to believe you only see 30% of the house. We want to take a guided tour on our next visit. Ya I-Move is very limited on there music choices and with copyright issues it has hard to find some types of music. Some of the music sites are so expensive now. It is beautiful..but they did build things back in the 1800s with time and care...meant for beauty and to last not like today...go to europe..stayed in a castle in ireland that was built in the 1500s...looked alot like the biltmore..they got their inspiration from europe...this is considered new by European standards
