- George Vanderbilt's 250-room French Renaissance chateau is a true marvel of architecture and artistry. Recognized as America's Largest Home, Biltmore House required 6 years of construction and around 1,000 workers ranging from local laborers and craftsmen to internationally known artists.
Enjoy the beauty of the Estate and the Mansion.
Magnificent home. Stunning Gothic architecture. I like the statues outside in the grounds. The Monet and Renoir paintings are fabulous, and would be of great value.
Visited in 1994, and it was the most beautiful home I’ve ever been in. The largest to be sure.
It’s the fourth largest home in the World. Amazing home.
I hope to visit one day.

God bless us start and end your day with our ALMIGHTY GOD. THANKS
Been there twice, if it’s within possible for you do it. To think George Washington Vanderbilt built it as a summer home…. It is a delightful place.
A mere summer home. Wonder what their main home looked like?
This place is Beautiful great place to visit and wonderful could live here rest of my days but thats sure a comment . from watching the video its a master builder of art Who can say more .oh i can not give it Justice who could ?
Wow, just beautiful.
Thank you
The camera man focuses on the busses and the surrounding more than the house itself!!
Video not allowed inside
What's impressive is that this home rivals European royal estates .
A single family had wealth comparable or more than some countries .
Wow 😍
Thanks ❤️
Went 9/22. There was also a Leonardo da Vinci exhibit. Just wonderful. Although I do wish they would have told me about the elevator in lieu of the marble staircase without a railing.
@LvLeigh11 I live about 40 minutes away. Not sure why I waited so long to go. They showed them taking the big tree inside on the news. I'd like to go at Christmas, too. Perhaps if I have company for the holidays.
How about doing a video on America's 2nd largest mansion, the Otto Kahn estate on Long Island.
Can't believe
Wonderful Mansion
How much is the price for the tour?
About $ 80

Just think about all of the poor immigrants at this time. Very low wages and no benefits etc. Then there were the filthy rich with more $ than they knew what to do with.
They don't have more $ than they knew what to do with. I'm poor. But I would love to be rich as fuck.
You would have to have a brain first.
Vanderbilt earned their money.
Sure by paying low wages.no benefits and lousy working conditions.
@@tedlawrence4189 .....and your point?
Not worth the price of admission. Save your hard-earned money.
Thank you so much for saying that - I was going to go next month
One of the Best Tours I've ever done. Pay for the self guide audio equipment. To me it was WELL worth the price of admission!
I loved it and would go again
What's the problem with it?
