I think a huge part of the Charm of Elvis’ upbringing years and early success was the fact that this dynamic entertainer who went to the top pretty quickly was that he came from the Deep South of America USA and a smaller town, As opposed to coming from NYC or L A California. I think it also showed people that you could be discovered anywhere if you had talent.

I remember from time to time hearing an old saying that says... necessity is the mother of invention! So if they wanted to be entertained and they didn't have many gadgets but wanted to have fun they invented their fun and stimulated their imaginations... I tend to believe as I hear stories from the older folks from a while back
I tend to believe that these older folks developed a type of innate wisdom which seemed like a more healthy environment 2 develop in therefore producing mild-mannered attributes any human being
I used to make hamburger steaks with flour and egg mixed in ground beef.... make some gravy out of some of the leftover grease. My mom told me her mother used to make them that way many many years ago said it would help make the meat go further.... ; . )

Nice documentary of Elvis's humble beginnings. I really enjoyed listening to his childhood friends tell thier stories about them and Elvis. This was a time when children were taught to call their elders Mam and Sir. It's important to have Elvis history documented cause someday all of us who lived during the King of rock roll generation will be gone and we need to pass it down to the younger generation. I just hope that they watch the true Elvis blogs like this one and get it right. Thank you so much for doing this in Elvis's hometown, Tupelo, Mississippi

One of those people is Elvis people around him just couldn’t be forthright they were too afraid To tell him what they really thought because nobody wants to be thrown out of the kingdom He had a temper in the end there but I imagine if my whole life was dictated to me by others and I was prevented from breeding which is expanding in naturally evolving into you I was meant to be that pressure would build up to. A lot happens in a persons life when I grow up the way he did and the parents have a great influence because what they say and what they think as well as how they feel and how they live cast a permanent imprint on your forever trying to find out who you are but keep being reminded of who they want you to be and how things are supposed to be or where you came from as if that was supposed to define you Well it has for far too long I think and I’m with all the stuff that’s happened and last 2+ years I do believe people are learning very nicely that I can’t stay that way The one thing that I think was really awesome about Elvis is that even though he had an inner war going on as well as external war that little light inside of him still shine bright and he wanted to do and did you many great things for many people that was the way he expressed his love care and concern. He try to stay in touch for a while anyway with the people that kept him grounded and him to remember a simpler time in life it wasn’t so flashy it wasn’t so fake. Yes, he had real talent. And when you enter that lifestyle and you’re surrounded by those people people that want something from you what do gnats to be in your company to touch you to receive something from you or just to be able to say that they rub down those with you after a while that probably takes a massive tell one person I’ve listen to a lot of the stories that were told about him once he had already been in it for sometime starting early on he had a lot of narcissistic qualities but his home life wasn’t perfect and he would always feel annoyed because most twins do when they lose a sibling. This was no sibling this was his twin. And the nurse ancestral karma most people don’t believe in it as well as family karma one just goes back further so you’ve got your mama and your daddy and all the stuff your entire lineage on both sides have experienced and it’s imprinted in your blood. Some people might not believe that but that’s the truth in those memories come forth or those feelings or those fears and they might just keep you in a place you don’t belong anymore. Kind of like being trapped. Until you start to understand that there’s something else trying to move you move it forward help you expand and help you express yourself truly and authentically He had been seeking for that thing that was searching for him as well in the end. But he still had a very long journey ahead and he ran out of time. I truly wish that the people around him are more loving and caring not enabling and Accommodating or gravel because I don’t really think that that was good for him. One of his earlier girlfriends and Memphis had pointed out that she wasn’t having a good time because everybody was just agreeing with everything he said and she didn’t see that there was any genuine individuals around him at that time so she just wanted to get home at that point they were just friends and he was happy to see her and sad to see her leave but when he asked her she said I just wasn’t having a good time and I said me either. But that was what his life was at that time and I guess it got worse over time because he had a darker side like most people do and he didn’t like something he sure did let you know my dark cloud hanging over your head. I think people get spoiled a bit minor knows types of lives and they decide things are my way or the highway. And that is how he talk to his entourage as well as the women in his life until they dare wouldn’t challenge him ever again. I know that worked a lot for him but in some cases it was the end of those relationships I know he had those regrets when he was nearing the end. And I do believe that he felt like and was coming Flowers are beautiful when they finally bloom but eventually they move their petals One by one They completely whether and die That’s the one thing we all have in common isn’t it? No matter what your fame your fortune your passion or your legacy one thing is for certain no one is getting out of here alive So with that people I suggest strongly that you really live from your heart don’t be afraid of anything and if you are don’t let it stop you from exploring and experiencing from taking those chances and those risks because when you do sometimes something really magical can happen… And that’s what happened to Elvis and you know what? He can happen to you too 🤍

I recently read on here not long ago something that was totally wrong for someone to say or write about and I am still upset because I know it just can't be true. After watching Elvis's bio, I can only imagine as a musician myself, how he felt "knowing what his good intentions actually manifested to the world." Did he open a recording studio to help other musicians become successful? Did he make the difference he intendant to make? I don't think so. Yes, he wanted his mom and dad to have everything, and he accomplished that but, was it enough? How would it feel to realize that you opened up a world of liberation that eventually went to Roe v Wade (1973) *after women won voting rights, (1920, 19th Amendment ) now a double-edged sword? Elvis did not believe in abortion and was very religious. Did Elvis really take his own life, as Priscilla allegedly claims today, having suicide notes from him? Elvis did not intentionally intend all of the Liberation to occur as it did. He didn't believe in knowingly sleeping with women that bore children . He wanted to accomplish, and be remembered for something that really mattered, not unintentional sexual movies that stood against everything that he believed in, but a real change in the way of the world was managed and with morals in which he himself couldn't live up to. He may have donated to some charities, but what he is known for is not what he wanted to be known for, but of backfired existence that he hated. Also an Entourage that he would forever be responsible for that without him would die, but... now Elvis was engulfed in the Mister Marvel hero game, and he could not change in midstream nor pass go and collect $200 to be the man he really wanted to be. Yes he tried it with politics and that didn't do it, but to be known for his gyrations and the giving of automobiles was exactly why he left us, yes. None of the women he dated were like his mother and that's what he wanted. He wanted a woman who was not into sex, but was pretty, yet he was charmed by women beyond his education and control. He couldn't take it any longer, prayed to God for change and relief of guilt, so much guilt, yet any drug that he took didn't kiss it and make it better like his mother did. As a musician, I totally understand why he left us. If I won $1000000 today, knowing what I know, (and I grew up exactly as Elvis did) my musical parents associated with the Grand old Opry and Chet Atkins, I would treat that money with a lot more respect than Elvis knew how. Not having any money, even a dollar bill, Elvis truly believed he was rich, but he wasn't yet. It all happened too quick to think, but if not for Priscilla, profiting from his demise, there would be no Elvis Enterprise, Elvis impersonators, or contests that keep Elvis Presley alive. Many people have copied from Priscilla's doings to keep their own deceased, loved ones alive. So now we have what's called, *worth more dead than alive syndrome.* Always profiting. And how many stars died in 2016 ? It was an epidemic ! So will Elvis ever rest in peace? I certainly hope so.

First of all, I am not a fan of Priscilla, but she DID NOT say that Elvis committed suicide, and was very angry that one sentence was taken totally out of context and isolated and blown up out of proportion. She said publicly that he did NOT commit suicide, and that she never said he did. And that he never would have. What in the world do you mean by "sexual movies?" Elvis' movies were squeaky clean family entertainment. Also, "he may have donated to some charities." Are you kidding? There have been whole documentaries made about his incredible generosity, not only to major charities, but to individuals also. He also supported about fifty local Memphis charities. He gave so much that when he died his estate was only worth about five million, because he had given away so much. He changed people's lives, paid medical bills for people who couldn't afford it, and didn't want it publicized. Everyone has a right to their opinion, but it's very clear that you don't know the first thing about Elvis Presley.

Not having any money, even a dollar bill, Elvis truly believed he was rich, but he wasn't yet. It all happened too quick to think, but if not for Priscilla, profiting from his demise, there would be no Elvis Enterprise, Elvis impersonators, or contests that keep Elvis Presley alive. Many people have copied from Priscilla's doings to keep their own deceased, loved ones alive. So now we have what's called, *worth more dead than alive syndrome.* Always profiting. And how many stars died in 2016 ? It was an epidemic ! So will Elvis ever rest in peace? I certainly hope so.

First of all, I am not a fan of Priscilla, but she DID NOT say that Elvis committed suicide, and was very angry that one sentence was taken totally out of context and isolated and blown up out of proportion. She said publicly that he did NOT commit suicide, and that she never said he did. And that he never would have.
What in the world do you mean by "sexual movies?" Elvis' movies were squeaky clean family entertainment. Also, "he may have donated to some charities." Are you kidding? There have been whole documentaries made about his incredible generosity, not only to major charities, but to individuals also. He also supported about fifty local Memphis charities. He gave so much that when he died his estate was only worth about five million, because he had given away so much. He changed people's lives, paid medical bills for people who couldn't afford it, and didn't want it publicized.
Everyone has a right to their opinion, but it's very clear that you don't know the first thing about Elvis Presley.
