    again, great stuff. so good when you can learn from someone who actually knows what he's talking about, has proven track record... and I still love the fresh approach to design the basic elements, usually everyone goes the same way in YT videos, or with small differences... keep these tutorials coming, we're hungry for this :) thanks again doing it, we appreciate! this COVID actually does a great service to amateur producers, as this amount of tutorials in psytrance from even well known artists on a regular basis has never happened before (but hopefully not disappear after neither). add to the picture the huge amount of plugin sales from all developers... besides of the obvious negative effects of such pandemic, we can always find some good in every bad.

    Never attempted to create percussion on my own (always modifying and processing samples), so time to experiment :D One thing though is it would have been interesting to see what was happening behind the snare rhythm in a little bit more detail, but other than that learnt a fucktonne again! Top video :D

      Thank you very much just saw the comment and yes I Maybe fast forwarded a bit that too much.
      The 'normal' snare rhythm I just did a bar loop with a reverse and an offbeat snare accentuating the rhythm then copy it and enlarged the pattern did a tiny variation to the offbeat snare. Then I duplicated the pattern again and enlarged it so it was now 4 bars and did a last variation there

    Hi Patricio, tks for sharing! awesome content... Btw, I love the Grid Elements samples u've made to Futurephonic. There is any possibility you could make a tutorial on this concept? Grid talks, rising and glitching? :)

    Honest feedback - this one was good but not as good as the kick 'n' bass tutorial (which was exceptional!). There were some good techniques, particularly the high hat stuff and random, but the earlier rhythmic snare part was practically impossible to follow and repeat with you skipping through it on fast forward. Would have been better if that part had been done at the same speed as the other techniques I think. The fast forward should only really be used for when you are doing repetitions of something you have already done in normal time imo. Thanks a lot for putting these out though and i look forward to whatever comes next :)

    • @HomegrownAudioChannel
      @HomegrownAudioChannel  Před 4 lety +4

      Thanks for the feedback! Yes u are right will keep in mind for the next ones. I thought this rythmic section is really not a big deal since its just bouncing and reversing audios and making variations with simple accent on an offbeat... :( gotta consider this is also interesting to follow. Again thanks a lot

    • @stevebaker2896
      @stevebaker2896 Před 4 lety

      @@HomegrownAudioChannel Yep - always worth bearing in mind everyone is different and has different knowledge. Personally I think synthesising snares and hats from noise is not a big deal because I already know how to do that. A bigger deal for me would have been to see what you did with the automation of the reverb and delay on those snares though for example and how you made the higher pitch one :)

    • @HomegrownAudioChannel
      @HomegrownAudioChannel  Před 4 lety +1

      @@stevebaker2896 definitely. the pitch up sort of feel on that other snare is pulled by an auto filter on insert.
      And the automation on the channel is just opening and closing send levels on certain hits to get bit of rvb or delay splash some places
