Yes, it's slow. It's a massive LEGO off-road truck weighing almost 4 kg. It was build for maximum torque, not speed. If you want a fast LEGO truck, here's one that goes 18+ KM/H: czcams.com/video/gldH77qhAMU/video.html

Good-looking and probably one of the most outdoor-ready LEGO builds to date. And we will never know the crazy challenges you had to overcome to build it in dark green - not excepting the budgeting skills.

A lot better but more expensive as well. The LED-Beacons alone cost $50! Each!
@@floba7272 yes, MOCs are expensive, but the Zetros won't be cheap either. It will cost about 330€-350€

This is an amazing truck. Could it go to lego truck trial, although it might not be the fastest it could definitely be the most capable. Just an idea.

Very cool and accurate looking Ural MOC in an almost LEGO version. But if it were any slower, time would flow backwards. :))
Too bad the new Zetros will be nothing close to this. Fingers crossed for at least a lockable diff.

Very epic moc... But what's the best steered suspension system? And are there good alternatives to the original PF motors to use with the PF system? Because the micromotor, the bggy motor and some other pf components became very expensive.

You should collab with jonnyq90 to make a gas powered vehicle. He does the propulsion stuff (metal axles and gears and the engine) and you build the body/chassis.
It'll either be a superfast racecar or something like this truck with an insane amount of torque

Hi sariel, i have a question: did you when steering this truck have it that while steering on a relativly flat surface, that the wheels on the 2 rear axles would go at a weird angle? Because i am making my own moc that has a 6×6 truck drivetrain kinda like this moc, but with independent suspension instead , but if i were to make it so that the 2 rear axles are non-steering, the wheels would angle themselfs on the edge of the Unimog tires. Do you have any suggestions on a salution for this?
Sounds like you need a stronger suspension with less play in it.

Rear axles in a heavy truck? Try some robust pendular design.
Sariel! We Need a brdm 2 Tank which Can drive and swimm. With lowerable middle wheels for crossing trenches :)

Great model, as usual Sariel! Lego Spintires, just some more mud is needed :) BTW: Do these tires fit nicely on Lego rimms? No pain putting them on, no slipping while driving?
They fit ok and don't slip but it's not a perfect fit and it's challenging to make them perfectly round with these rims.
What Lego rims do you use with the 1.9 crawler tires?

As always, I'm amazed by the result... But as I see the video, I wondered about something... Did you already made an rc vehicule with only Lego rc ( no s brick etc...) that can be called fast without speeding the video? ( I fully understand that this truck is all about torque and not about speed, but I wanted to ask in general )
Sure, quite a bunch. My Torpedo Troje, for instance, went over 20 km/h with pure LEGO.
