    These are probably the best remote control Lego trucks that I ever have seen!
    Great job!

    Clever technical solutions + smooth body shapes = awesome truck! It seems to me that C+ hub and motors provide enough power for such small scale! P.S. The video has a great footage and scenario!

      Thank you. Yes indeed for such a small scale one L motor with little reduction can provide sufficient power even for offroading.

    Nice truck, you progress a lot in terms of scaling and the surface treatment with all the tiny piece to add details. I think there is a bit too much sometime regarding the scale as the visual prominence of these elements should match the overall size and scale to not to overwhelm visually the model. On the technical size, the drivetrain is very compact, congrats !

      Thank you, I value a lot your opinion that is why I have request, can you elaborete a bit? I mean in case of amount and size of the details are you talking in general in my MOCs or regarding this model in particular?

      @@Keymaker Hello, sorry for the late reply. Of course I can elaborate. In scale model, you have to scale down the different dimensions and the shape, but with paying attention to the perception of the proportion. Not to be 100% accurate, but to have a clean and homogeneous build, as you can not sometime reproduce small or too complicated details. For instant, if the model has side mirror but you can not reproduce in the correct dimensions / proportions or if it looks ugly, you can cheat with the proportion, dimensions and color, or remove it. For instance, as your build is small, I think there is a bit too much detail near the doors with the small light and the mirror (even if the mirror attachment is creative). I would have personally placed the attachment of the mirror on the upper part, to have less elements in the same zone, to see better the line of the door which contribute to the design perception (the "flow" if you want to make research in Vehicle Design). Also I think the door handle is out of scale and so it too massive for this build, I would consider remove it completely or use 32028 plate with rail in the same color as the door. On the rear part, I find the black guard bumper too big in height with the two stack of axle joiner and elbow piece, which create a strange look where normally this part is empty on the original truck. I think it is a compromise with the winch but I find this part also bulky on your tayga which use the same technique. As this bumper is stuck on the rear light, it acts visually as there is a bulky block of things on the rear and break the flow of the design. A small separation (a bit of empty space) would have been better to emphasize the light and the bumper separately. I would keep only the bottom black bumper, with 1/2t higher, and so the light will be 1/2t distance which will create the visual separation. All this is of course subjective and are the result of the compromise you have to make in terms of functions and building technique. Don't get me wrong, the design is great and you have made significant improve to your previous design, it is just minor details to be better than better.

      @@Nico71Fr Thank you so much for this detailed description. I will definitely use those advices in my next MOC which is currently under construction ^^

    Really cool model, not sure if the choice of colours is perfect cause I feel the light gray on the cabin shows a lot of bricky details, but not sure what would be better. Also I'd probably go with some inline engine in the cab if the engine is this high. Neat acheivment fitting it there.

    • @Keymaker
      @Keymaker  Před rokem

      Thank you. In case of choice of LBG. You are right, but on the other hand you have almost all necessary parts available in this colour, and it is usefull when you need to create body and details in such a small scale. And the engine, V8 is the engine used in real Gaz 66, so I do not see the point do used another one. What is more, this version is the one I also used in my KrAZ 255 2.0. It is very small and it is only 3 studs high (plus 0.5 stud for crankshaft). It would be very hard to build smaller/lower one with technic elements, especially inline type.
