4WD loses control on DEADLY MOAB Trail - what happens next?

- Last time you saw us in the USA, we were living it up in the mountains of Colorado taking on the highest altitude wheeling we’ve EVER experienced! 🏔️ BUT, if there is ONE off-road destination that stands above ALL the rest, it’s got to be Moab, Utah!
A childhood dream of Shauno’s turned REALITY, this place is like another planet! Moab hosts some of the craziest & most dangerous low range 4WD trails to ever exist.
The challenges that Shaun, Jock & the crew attempt in Moab are challenges where the consequences of NOT making it are far greater than anywhere else in the WORLD… 🌎
AND, when things go wrong out in Moab, they go wrong in a BIG way. Get it wrong slightly, and you & your 4WD might be gone for good… 💀

Epic as always boys. Once you’re back in Oz we’ll take you out and show you some trails
nice to see the best 4x4 channel on youtube showing some love
Cant wait for the worlds best 4x4 channel to show the worlds second best how its done. Please collab
This was filmed over a year ago champ. Do you think this is live tv?
@@bintox3633 I'm guessing it's just a joke or maybe some foreshadowing.
Hahahahahahaha. Thats so generous of you legends!
It’s so refreshing seeing you Aussies tackle America without 40+ inch tires and wide track buggies. Could definitely see the lads of 4WD 24/7 enjoying the trails in the Mojave and Sonoran deserts or maybe even the mud bogs of Appalachia
Ye
Refreshing seeing under equipped vehicles “tackle” tracks that require large tires? LEL. Sean-o was the only one prepared.
wdym prepared....@@BFT88
We have tons of hard rock crawling and such here in Appalachia! Some of us even hate mud lol. I think they would really enjoy a WV/KY overland backcountry trip. Tons of hard wheeling and you can get way out there. There are loads of other great areas but the vast majority is constrained to public or private OHVs. I personally think 4wd 27/7 would love a PNW or even British Columbia trip. If we get anymore North American (or South American!) trips I don't care where they go!
@@BFT88 he had smaller tires than the Tacoma. What’s your point?
I am glad this didn't turned into a Matt's Offroad Recovery crossover episode. Stay safe and have fun!
Lmao,Matt was going to go rescue them
That's Trail-mater's territory.
i was thinking the same haha
Or a BSF (broke, stuck & f#%k) recovery episode
As someone who lives in Utah and takes this stuff for granted, it is soooo fun to watch people experience this stuff for the first time. Nice work, you guys did great!
You have some amazing scenery and tracks, i would love to visit some day and back at you, i live in Far North Australia and you'd probably enjoy our tracks!
Jock in the USA with shauno is just legendary
Right? Super great they all get a chance to come out and share this with their mates. Can tell the channel is about genuine mateship and more than just trying to sell us stuff.
My jaw dropped at the campsite at 40:22. I've spent so many nights there. There's a little 100 cliff behind it where we'd back up the 4x4s and rapel down. So cool seeing the team enjoy the moab trails and guarded camp sites like this
Im not lying when I say you folks make some of the best content on CZcams. This America trip footage is high quality entertainment.
I absolutely love how Jocko is so excited like a kid on Christmas. All of the expressions and looks in all your faces and just how much of an amaxing time you all had. You guys are all amazing prople and so happy you had a great time! It judt goes to show you that you dont need huge tires and an 8-inch lift to do some of the hard, challenging tracks/trails.
agreed, of all the "blokes" I relate to Jocko the most, I was excited to see how excited he was.
Same. Jocko is my austrailian dpirit animal. he aeems to be the aussie equivalentof us hood ole boy american rednecks. Love the guy @@eat.sleep.wheel21
“Bad earth.” “Tail shaft.” I love the English language from other places. Also, the sound of that diesel canopy truck is pretty wild when you’re used to that sound usually being reserved for the flats.
Love seeing y'all tackle the trails here in America. People say we're nuts for wheeling shelf roads at 10,000 feet, going up trails that aren't anything but boulders, and then there's Moab. 🤙
I was in Moab in April 2023 for the first time and I had the same reaction on many of these tracks and the amazing views! I'm so happy you guys were able to come and experience some of our terrain
Beautiful scenery, that overhead shot on the cliff edge properly messed with my mind. Always love watching your content.
Got me trippin 😂
same
Gotta say though, so stoked to see you fellas over here having an amazing experience. Nothing better than watching a bunch of mates sharing a trip like this. Fantastic. Now back at home, build us all another truck. We will be and will share it with you.
The answer to the question about rollovers on the 'launch pad" is YES lots and lots of vehicle's have rolled on it. Also those "white marks" to guide you on the trail are painted spikes. You may have also noticed some that looked like rectangles or painted bars, which are used to mark another over lapping trail called Gold Bar Rim.
Was fun watching you Ausi's reaction to Moab.
Spike can be ever more fun in the snow at 1am😂
Amazing video! One thing I noticed is there is no trash, graffiti, or anything but tire marks anywhere. Moab has great trail management.
Moab off-road culture is top-notch
No "locals" throwing VB cans around the place.
And yet the granolas have still managed to shut down a pile of the trails there just recently 😒
@nethiuz9165 here in South Island NZ it's Speights Summit Ultra cans. Everywhere!
Lol, Jocko is having a completely different experience in his lightweight "rental" Jeep compared to the other 3 in their fully-loaded touring rigs. 😂
Welcome to The U.S!!
Best thing about this video is the laughs and giggles.
Good show boys!
Good show!
Gettin’ the winds of Moab up ya, eh boys. Phenomenal. Let’s hear it for the camera work. You all did tremendously well. Will love to see the inevitable return for more and there is a lot more to see in the old USA. Cheers to our brothers from down under.
I went to moab about 2 weeks before you guys did and I remember going up top of the world for my 3rd time and it was way harder than years before so I think you guys have seen it at its hardest
Love seeing you guys in Moab you should air down a lot more though on the rocks... Also you should have stopped by n saw Rory n n trail mater... That would have been cool
I love these videos when grandad Graeme isn't demanding everyone to pull the winch out every five seconds
One of the best episodes ever. Having just been to Moab recently this hit all the right spots, can’t wait for the next episode!
Great way to start the Australian day long weekend, Top notch video boys.
As a Moab local, I couldn't wait to see this! My palms got sweaty just watching. It's 9° C here today.
I half expect Matts offroad recovery to drive past.
Trail Mater is Moab legend.
I've been hoping they would make an appearance.
Probably have them on speed dial. "So, we got a call from a bunch of Orssies"
Matt's operates in Southern Utah, almost a 5 hour drive to Moab. Rory from Moab Motorsports is the go-to guy for Moab trail repairs and recoveries. Rory is probably the best rock crawling driver alive (watch this year's 24 Hell & Back series) and with his first tow truck Trail Mater is the undisputed king of hardcore off road recovery.
This is Trailmater's stomping ground, Matt is over at Hurricane.
Finally! Would love to see a video of the rigs build to suit America in detail. What needed to be done to the rigs to be ready.
Try look at Trail Maters YT page. He’s in Moab. Has a recovery biz. His videos of these trails are pretty awesome too.
@@Kiki-Kauai big Rory is the Moab master.
@@Dougtroutfisher.4046 that he is.
Rory is a legend.
They did a video on their Jeep build. I think it was published before the Rubicon video dropped.
Utahn here. Love Moab did these trails and they’re a solid time.
Moab is absolutely epic, it had been in my bucket list for 15+ years when we went there in 2014 during our roadtrip in western USA. Flew from Finland to San Fransisco, we had been driving for around 3000 miles before getting to Moab.
In Moab, we rented a lifted Jeep from one of the local off-read rentals. Drove a few trails and Shafer road. I gotta get there again, views and trails are simply amazing!
Awesome action Team, I am no longer able to own a car/beast, as I have had three strokes and major heart failure, but you guys bring all that action, and you feel your in the fourbies, can't wait for the rest of your trip, cheers from the Southern Highlands of NSW of Oz.
You should have met up with Rory from Trail Mater he knows that area like the back of his hand. He reversed up a lot of the obstacles!!!!
I watch almost all your videos im in CA and I rock crawl my self and this video I had me grinning smile from ear to ear the whole time. Great job guys.! Cant wait for the rest of the video.
That was epic!much love from KENYA 🇰🇪
Damn good episode, worth the 2 month wait since the last one. But with a cliff hanger like that I don't think I could handle the follow up being in March
I absolutely loved this episode! As a native Utahn, makes me proud to see you lads enjoying the beautiful Moab!!
Awesome video as always 4WD 24/7 Crew. Moab is such a epic adventure full of adrenaline rushing driving. Jesse and Jocko y'all are really showing that it doesn't take big 40s to tackle a iconic trails like Moab.
Hoped to see you guys do Moab! Yes! Loved seeing everyone’s EUPHORIC reaction after conquering a crazy hard obstacle. Excellent job on the trails and video. 🇺🇸
Love seeing you guys over here wheeling our stuff. I was waiting to see TrailMater towing someone out in the background.
I hate that Graham had to go back home. He was loving it so much! Awesome video series.
Glad y’all made Moab. Been there twice. Love it. I live in North Carolina. Love the channel. Stay safe fellas 🇺🇸👍
You ever been to Uwharrie? Know any other good places in NC? My buddy lives down there and once I finish my truck I want to take a ride down a wheel with him.
Such an awesome video and destination. Shaun talking about sandstorms reminds me of a new years me an friends went off-roading an we went to bed an a huge sandstorm hit two tents with people in them got blown about 500m away from camp, one mate in a swag got completely buried (if it wasn't for his snoring we would of never found him, an had slept through whole thing) was a big reminder to be prepared for anything an attach your tent/swag to your vehicle if possible an have equipment to call emergency services always available.
FYI big mac sauce = Mayo, dill and parsley. The greatest combo to ever exist. Fantastic video, gents!
I thought it was Thousand island salad dressing?
The boys are definitely excited 😅 Jock is nerding out and the 60 is a heavy 🐕
absolutely love watching you guys doing what i wish i was doing, and its great having watched for so long seeing jock turn into such an incredible driver keep the videos coming guys, loving it.
Awesome and outstanding as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
Have been waiting for this to drop and looks 💯Wicked !!! Another great video 🤘🏼🤘🏼well done 👏🏼👏🏼
@12:19 That was such a crazy illusion with the drone footage.
It threw me off too! 🙂
Jock's going the Harry Butler look. Fully Sick !😊
Y'all are nuts! 💪🏻 Well done and such awesome views!! So glad you tackled our epic trails. 💥👊🏻💥
My goodness fellas, you've knocked it out of the park once again! Good on you all for keeping the rubber-side down, albeit a close call or two, and kudos to your film crew and video editors, I know that's a taxing & time-consuming job. Looking forward to part 2. A millions thumbs up!!! 👍
Drink every time someone says "put the wind up ya"
Was looking forward to seeing your Moab footage, did not disappoint. Awesome job guys!
Off highway touring Utah my whole life, it is great to see the awe of the place from you boys.
Can't wait until Episode 2.
Good wheelin, boys. No one had to call Rory and Trail Mater, or a Lifeflight.
Just finished the Colorado video, went to check if Moab was out and it was posted less than a minute ago. Hope y’all enjoyed Moab, one of my favorite places in the world.
You didn't wait months like us?
Been waiting for this episode a long time! Well done boys, and Kudos to Tim for getting back on the saddle.
Awesome episode, I'll be making a big road trip to moab this fall and this had me grinning the whole episode!
I love the channel and all your content guys. I've just learned of this channel due to the algorithm serving your first American wheeling adventure up to me a while back and I've been going back catching up on your older videos. Loving it all so far.
I have a suggestion: next time y'all come over here you need to hook up with some east coast crawler CZcamsrs like BleepinJeep. It's a totally different type of wheeling than you guys normally do and it's still different from anything I've seen on your America series yet.
You guys should have called on Rory from Trailmater. He could have spotted you through all the trails. Big tires are the key with tire pressures low.
MOAB is on my bucket list. Your video is the best real world video I’ve seen! Great job guys!
Epic! It's great to see you guys having so much fun wheelin here in the states. Can't wait to see part 2.
Man o man ! I love getting home after a long 12HR shift to watch the boys wheel Moab! I’ve been waiting for this episode and I was getting concerned already. All the rigs are beautiful but man the sound on dirty 30 is beautiful.
Ive been looking forward in watching this video. Can't wait for part two!
Boys that was awesome Aussie Aussie Aussie. Happy Australia day legends
Another great episode! I'm glad you guys are having fun here in the U.S. Looking forward to more!
As a man who lives within an easy drive to Moab, i must say there have been a few to conquer it long ago in ww2 era willies jeeps...something to think about! Otherwise love to see you aussies here! Spent a month down there and it was epic
Great episode, love to see just the b-reel of the scenery, looks amazing.
Good way to kick off the long weekend 🙌🏻
Moab sure has changed since I first started exploring the area in the 1980s. Back then it was empty country. My brother and I spent a lot of time on those trails. Most of the time we never saw another soul, but occasionally would cross paths with 1 or 2 other brave souls and their vehicles. The only time there were multiple vehicles was during the annual Moab Jeep Safari.
Then mountain bikes started showing up and we knew a change was coming. We wanted to build a hotel because there wasn't much available, but the banks turned us down because they said "Moab is a dying town" and they wouldn't risk any money there. Two years later the people started coming in. We were just a little too early.
Back then Moab was unheard of. Even some people in Utah didn't know what it was. Now it's world famous. I really miss those old empty days when we had the whole place to ourselves.
Great vid, wow amazing scenery.
Thankyou all.😊
Great job been waiting for this to drop and it did not disappoint what a epic drive
I live near Moab, and still get those same feelings every time. It’s so great to see u guys out here.
Been waiting for this episode. Thx mate's
Well the wait was worth it! AHopefully not as much wait for episode 2. My wife and I are from Canada and we did Poision Soider Mesa 2 years ago now in a stock 2022 Colorado ZR2. With 32" tires! I spotted while she drove the tougher spots. Was so awesome with a fair bit of skid plate use and dragging rear hitch/bumper. Finished that trail and went back out it. Next time will have to try the rest of the Tri Fecta with more tire on the next wheeler. Glad to see you guys enjoyed your time there.
Yeah boii been hanging for this vid awsome!!!😊 been loving the USA trip great stuff boy's!!
It was well worth the wait, what an episode, cheers gents ❤❤❤
Glad there’s another video coming but sucks having to wait.
This is the best video ive ever seen in 51 years!!! ty very much.
I've been waiting what seems like so long for this video and boy did it not disappoint. Now I can't wait for the 2nd part to it. Glad everyone was OK after Tim's close call.
Been watching for 3+ years and love the Aussie content but awesome to see you over in the states.
Now that was a great episode. Timmy, mate you are a bloody champion.
One of the best episodes ever, can’t wait for the next one!!
love seeing the guys enjoying the jeep and commenting how confident they are tackling obstacles in it 😉👌
hard to believe. i'd like to see a longer version too. a fantastic series
Keep bringing them on, and I’ll watch! 👍👍👍
Yesss been waiting for more of this. Looks epic
Loved the episode and was great to see Tim from mits back in videos been a while since he was last on a trip
Need the next epi soon guys. Amazing Adventure. Amazing Driving. ❤❤
Sick episode guys amazing stuff. Love it
Omg what an episode. And Tim’s near roll over had me shook
Can’t wait to see the next part to Moab
Good too see big dog jocko loving the jeep and wheeling it hard 🙌🙌🙌
Good job lads
Maybe he could not see the painted white lines on the rocks.
Moab is just the ultimate!! Rock climbing, mountain biking, river rafting, 4wding. Loved the place when I visited!!
some crazy tracks for sure! cant wait for the next vid
WOW!! almost Tim. glad to see you're safe and made it.
Just finished my Utah trip. @Shauno the taco burger recipe is excellent, my wife insists on it every trip ! Great show.
Love it! Keep the content coming!!
Tim was scared the first time and even more scared the second time.
Never let fear win!
It can cost you your life.
You guys did an excellent job of capturing the epic scenery! The next time you come to town i would love to go overlanding with you!!!!
Long time viewer and fan absolutely love seeing you boys having such a great time in my neck of the woods. Definitely hope to do the same in the land down under some day.
Great series, great editing, great job boys super entertaining
Love seeing you guys tackle Moab trails, I have to say I'm really impressed with a Tacoma's, I don't see a lot of US based Tacoma channels doing such stuff. And Moab definitely can go wrong quick, I was out there on vacation a few years ago, went over the handlebars on my mountain bike up near Top of the World, ended up breaking my hip. That slick rock gives you great grip, but is not forgiving when you land on it! I was so lucky in that we happened to be fairly close to the Jeep road, and a JK driver was nice enough to drive me down the mountain to the ER.
Goodwork you guys waiting for the last part of MOAB trip
