Grazie per la lezione
I love the dynamic between you two..always brings me a smile:) Grazie!
Grazie a te! Thank you for your very kind words! 🥰
I appreciate you two very much! These lessons are easy to understand!
You guys are sooo cool and fit together so we'll. Love your videos! Buon buon lavoro!
English speakers might also try pronouncing "r" sound while putting tongue on the roof of your mouth...more or less the "d" idea, I guess, but this helped me master some sounds in Hindi that don't exist in English. For my Italian r's, it helped having my Italian mum sing Trotta, Trotta Cavallino, over and over, bouncing me on her knee when I was little....more difficult to arrange at this stage for others probably... Love your episodes, esp. the spirit of 'em!
there’s further help 😅, as a quite simple exercise to learn the ‘tongue-R’ does exist! and it does contain the D- thing… just take the phrase/ syllables „pa-da-di, pa-da-da“ and keep repeating them at an increasing pace… You‘ll end up at some point, where your tongue might slip… then you‘ll have your „erre“ 😊
works for Germans at least…😂
Adesso lo so.
Interesting exercise with the “d” … it works! Grazie
Grazie, bel video!
Grazie.
Grazie a te!
Buongiorno! Grazie per la spiegazione!
Grazie a te!
Buongiorno, Easy Italian! Grazie. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Grazie a te! 🥰
Ogni mattina saluto i miei gatti con "buongiorno i miei gattini". 😂😂
Che carino! 😍
I love this channel!! I came here from Easy Spanish but stayed :) What happens if I say BON-giorno? Is it bad? The "buon" sound is a little harder. Need to practice!
In standard Italian it's not correct, but it's not so bad if you consider that in several Italian regional languages they say "bon/bona" and not "buon/buona"; for example, in Trentino buongiorno is said "bondì", while in Rome buonasera is said "bonasera". ;)
Grazile mille! From South Korea
Grazie a te! Saluti. 🤗
Grazie mille 🇹🇷❤️🇮🇹
Grazie a te! 🥰
In Italy, I often heard "salve". Is this used in an informal situation or also in formal ones? It usually happened at stores with people I didn't know know.
It's normally used in formal situations, but it can used in informal ones as well. 😊
Ciao!
Chiedo scusa è un'espressione molto utile.
E' vero, grazie mille!
when talking with my grandparents they’ll say “come stai” with an i at the end, is this a dialect thing or is this just a different formality?
in italian there are 6 personal pronouns
Io (I)
Tu (you but you use it with your friends or family)
Lui/lei/Lei (he/she/you but the polite form for a person you don’t know or someone you respect)
noi (we)
voi (you but for at least two people, a group of people…)
loro (they)
for the vb “stare” it is :
(io) STO
(tu) STAI
(lui/lei/Lei) STA
(noi) STIAMO
(voi) STATE
(loro) STANNO
therefore, in the video the man used “come sta” (Lei pronoun that is the polite form for “you”) because he might address someone he doesn’t know (the one who is watching the video)
your grandparents, if they said to you “come stai” it’s because you’re part of the family and you’re someone “inferior” let’s say :) so that’s completely normal the -i at the end.
hope that helped…
@@llnmrz oh my gosh thank you so much this helped a ton
❤
I don’t have trouble rolling the r unless its preceded by an l, as in “il ragazzo”.
Right, that's a tricky one... but here's a little tip for that: when speaking fast, we don't really pronounce the L in this case, but we rather say 'i' ragazzo'. Unless you really want to point that out, for example 'mi piace QUEL ragazzo' (and not another one). 😉 In that case, we do pronounce the L clearly. Hope this will help! 😊
The D thing is a little confusing because matteo is clearly saying R but it's rolled. However my question is more about the word educati. That means "polite" whoa, I always thought it meant educated. So how would you say someone is educated (academically) in italian? This would be an example of a false cognate? Thanks, enjoy your show!
Colto
@elizabethdscala doesn't that mean "polite"? It's pretty confusing
I agree with the D thing. I think they meant a short R needs to be used. Not the highlighted one like in "porre". As for educato, it means both polite an educated, depending on the context. For "polite" it's usually preceded by ben or mal.
Sorry, I meant I agree ABOUT the D thing..😅
@@teddysaginaw9101 educato means polite, educated is translated " colto" in italian
0:36 Molti stranieri dicono infatti “bon-giorno”. Non riescono a pronunciare “buon”. 😊
Funny enough, at 0:58 Katie suddenly starts saying “bottom/bed” (eg of a river) in Russian
Interesting, thanks! 😀
Ottimo esempio, grazie mille!
Ho usato molto 'grazie' - e l'ho pronunciato male. Ma non più. Grazie!
GRAZIE a te! 😀
“Permesso” quando si attent’ uscire l’autobus

Vorrei non voglio penso che sia importante? Vorrei un cafe non voglio un cafe?
Giusto, molto importante!
“Permesso” prima di entrare una casa. ?????
Always!😊
Giusto, grazie mille!
Ciao
