I started to learn Italian, because I have a small half Hungarian, half Italian granddaughter, (with Italian mother) and would like to understand her better. Your everyday conversation and the style you communicate, is very helpful. Plus your video have a special plus for me - you live not far from the street where my son and his family live - so watching your video environment is wellknown for me, and evrything is familiare - all this with you together makes the language also more familiar for me. :-)I have the feeling walking with you on the streets and in the parc. Being Hungarian,73 years old, and using the English as intermediary language is not easy, bzt you make really Easy Italian! :-)

Bravissimi! Solo una mia riflessione sul verbo "fare". È vero che in italiano lo si usa dappertutto, però ricordiamoci che esistono anche dei sinonimi colti o non che vanno - a mio parere - preservati per non impoverire la lingua. Esempio: "Faccio da mangiare" = "Cucino", "Faccio la pipì" = "Urino", ecc. È vero che il sinonimo è usato perlopiù nella lingua scritta, però credo che vada comunque fatto :-) apprendere. Prima di tutto complimenti per la puntata. L'ultimo film che mi ha fatto paura e stato Contagion. L'ho visto al inizio di questa pandemia Covid19 e sembrava incredibile che questo film pratticamente ha anticipato tutto quello che succedeva in realta, tranne la fine, perche nel film hanno trovato la medicina per il virus.
L'ultimo film che mi ha fatto ridere e stato Ice Age, l'ultimo, visto insieme con mio figlio.
Complimenti per il vostro lavoro, e per usare una espressione imparata sempre dai vostri video, non vedo l'ora per il prossimo video.
Chiedo scusa per gli errori, sono romeno e sto imparando l'italiano, una lingua che mi piace tanto.

I expected in the section "when not to use 'fare'" you talked about the false friend "fare senso."
Although "Fare senso" is the literal translation of "to make sense," the meaning is totally different! "Fare senso" in Italian means "to be disgusting," in a very strong sense, something that would make you to puke... The correct translation of "to make sense" is "aver senso."
I remembered that when I was in US a colleague of mine (who married an Italian) told me (in Italian) "dobbiamo trovare degli esempi che (we need to find some example that...) facciano senso" (maybe she said "fanno senso," I am not sure she used the subjunctive mood...) I never corrected her, but in this case I felt that a correction was in order since it sounds like "we need to find some examples that are disgusting"

Ciao, faccio l'insegnante di italiano per stranieri da molti anni a Varsavia. Recentemente ho deciso di consigliare i vostri video ai miei studenti di livello A1/A2. I sottotitoli in inglese sono molto utili per i livelli bassi.
Il vero motivo non e' questo. Ci sono tantissimi canali su CZcams simili al vostro, ma voi avete una marcia in piu': la simpatia. Guardare un video didattico deve essere piacevole. Con voi lo e'. Grazie.

In some regions "fa" means "it works, it's possible", the negation "non fa" -> doesn't works, it's not possible.
