Such an well produced video with easy step-by-step instructions!
As a person just getting into the wold of Warhammer 40k, this is by far the best Space Wolves tutorial that I’ve seen.
Well done mate keep the videos coming!
I really appreciate the kind words. I try very hard to produce the best tutorials I can that people can actually use to get better at painting :)
This is the classic looking Space Wolves armour i wanted - amazing work!
I’m glad 🙏🏻 I hope it helps
Holy crud, you did it! You did space wolves! The Ork's most vile enemy. Awesome!
haha don't tell anyone though
@@TableTopReadyCZcams I remember asking you for this, I'm so happy, thanks man!
Space Wolves are my favourite chapter, so many characters. This is a great video, thx
Your very welcome. They’re really enjoyable to paint with all the different colours on them and textures. Been a while since I painted any before this
Detail of the video and miniature is insane!! Sick! Thanks for this
Thank you very much. I’m really glad you liked my tutorial 😁
I love these tutorial videos youre doing. The pace of the video, details and tips you give, the organization and clean presentation up close of each step with the paint you are using are all perfect... I cant tell you how many times Ive watched a tutorial and they either forgot to tell you what color they used or it was quickly mentioned and I would have to go back to find what color they used. Please dont change this style of video. Thanks!
Thanks for the great comment 😁 I’m glad your like the style of my videos. I won’t change them as I’ve worked hard to get them this far ha 😋
Awesome work, man! You made Russ proud with this beautiful work. Fenrys Hjølda!
Thank you 🙏🏻 I always appreciate a nice comment
Great rotating camera work for the build in addition to another superb tutorial.
thank you, I'm trying to be more fancy haha
Absolutely superb!
Thank you 😊
This has been absolutely brilliant for helping me level up my marine painting. First time glazing too. Thank you so much. Wish I could attach my terminators, so you could see.
Awesome. Feel free to send pictures to my email contactus@tabletopready.co.uk
Epic as always dude. 👍
Thank you 😊
I im just gettin started in warhammer, and these are super helpful problen is i have to 2 weeks to get them because i live in finland but i just wanted to say thank you!🤗🎨
exciting, i can't wait wait for you to get started and I really hope you get a lot of enjoyment painting. just remeber to take your time.
As always 11/10 video man!!
Thank you and thank you for becoming a member :D I apreciate it

Great stuff! New subscriber you deserve lots more
Thank you, I'm working hard to grow. Its just getting my content out there :) but I'm very apreciative of every single subscriber
It looks awesome me and my dad do warhammer
thats great. it must be nice being able to share a hobby with your dad :) I hope you both continue to enjoy the hobby together
Love this video it would be awesome to include the helmet and the backpack!
the helmet and back pack is painted the same as the armour. I wouldn't be showing anything different. If its wanting to see the resaults on the back pack and helmet during the tutorial then thats something I can think about for future tutorials. :D
That's some fancy camera work there, nice touch. Just needs some JJ Abrams lens flare now 😎
Thank you, it’s always nice to hear from a super fan 😋 I’ve messaged him to see how he does it ha
Hey, Michael! You are doing great work. I paint all my 2 miniatures using your guides, they are really nice, and contain only useful info.
But recently I got stuck with highlighting assault space marines jump packs.
I do not undestand where to put more bright colors on the cilindric parts of the jump pack.
If you can paint one blood raven assault space marine - it would be magnificent.
Anyway - thank you for your guides!
I’m glad you enjoy my content. I always focus on the things I can highlight first, the obvious edges for example. And when your ready to highlight the cylinder i would do broader lines but softer. Thinking the paints more than usual helps
If I can paint space marines this good I'll be very happy 👍☺
not 'if' but 'when'. if i can do it then you can as well. all it takes is time and practice :) I believe you can do it
WEll, i can use the pelt part :D
there's always something for someone :D
Would possible to do a knight? I have recently purchased one and been staring at it wondering how I'm going to go about it.
I would love to do a knight for the channel. It’s a little out of my price range at the moment, but I may do a couple of Armigers instead
Love it! How r u attaching the bits to wood?
with super glue, I have a video talking about getting miniatures ready for painting
Yes please but also PLEASE do some black legion, your the only minipainting tutorialist on youtube who is amazing and actually shows all the steps and I'm doing black legion at the moment so a vid on black legion would be amazing thank you so much! And as always amazing content!
If I do a black legion marine it will probably be October time 💪🏻
Could get away with using another blue insted of blue horror, trying to figure out which paints i need to buy, I just got space woles and want to do them like this more or less
you can use what ever colours you want to use. just know you may not get the same resaults as in the tutorial. its up to :)
How do you get such fine lines on the highlights? Mine look very splotchy
you should go check out my dedicated getting better at highlighting video :)
What is the thing you’re using to hold your plastic pieces while you paint?
They plastic shot glases, they make good handles for cheap
so, for those of us not using citadel paints, what is russ grey? a light blue/light grey mix?
the best thing I would say to do, is to find a conversion chart online. you should be able to find somewhere the colour match to what ever paint range you normally use.
Please do black legion
I am tempted to 😉
Just ordered space wolves 😊 cant wait to paint them as im new to war hammer Could you please tell me all the different paints you used ?
Also do you glue the parts onto the peices of wood ?
All paints are listed in the description of the videos and on the screen when they’re used 😃 good luck with the wolves. I hope you enjoy them
cool video also what's your favorite legion of space marines
that's an easy one, imperial fists. and I'll be doing a painting tutorial for them as well
Would it be possible for an up to date horus heresy wolves colour scheme my dude ?
If I do any Horus heresy tutorials, it probably won’t be any time soon. I’ve got a list of tutorials I’m trying to get through still haha
@@TableTopReadyCZcams haha no worries mate. Il keep my eyes open for them! Love your content.
Hi, I like your tutorials. Could you consider having the paint color used displayed on screen for the entirety of each step instead of only at the beginning? It helps when skipping around in the video. Thanks
you got it
Hi, not played 40k for a long time now and still have a fair few unpainted ultramarines. Can i paint them in space Wolves colours to make a space Wolf army or is that a no no does anyone know please?
All ultramarines are space marines, but not all space marines are ultramarines 🤔 you can absolutely paint your space marines as space wolves 😁
Glory tho the crimson king
please show us how to paint a black templar
They’re coming 😁 don’t worry
What do you use to attach the pieces to the block
I use super glue. I have a tutorial on assembling and undercoating where I talk about it 😃
@@TableTopReadyCZcams thanks 🙏
Couple of Q
You said whenever you paint thin it.
Did you mean just for the base or all the colors?
Will painting the glue spots interfere with the glue? It looks thin so i think it wouldnt buuut i figured I'd ask
Finally how did you get get the pieces to stick to the wood?
Great videos great depths and ok sorry for the questions but talk to me like im 5.
Haha I was wondering when someone was gonna ask. Don’t worry it’s a pretty obvious question to ask 🤷🏼♂️ I recommend always thinning your paints to make them easier to work with. How much water that is used is different though depending on what your doing. Mostly an equal amount for general painting. Twice the amount for glazes and not so much if your highlighting
I use super glue to stick them to the blocks
Paint will interfere with plastic glue, although it will still work the bond won’t be as strong. Best practice is to scrape some of the paint away so the plastic surfaces can touch each other
I do have a tutorial about getting miniatures ready for painting on the channel 💪🏻
Can you make a video painting a necron warrior?
I’m thinking about it 😁 it may be a
Tutorial like my Ork clans video
Yes please but also PLEASE do some black legion, your the only minipainting tutorialist on youtube who is amazing and actually shows all the steps and I'm doing black legion at the moment so a vid on black legion would be amazing thank you so much! And as always amazing content!
What tool is using to clean up the sprue marks?
It’s called a scraping tool. I also like to use a curved needle file
@@TableTopReadyCZcams hey thank you! Excellent video(s) btw! I'm a novice miniature painter, but every time I buy a new army, your channel is the first one I check out for painting advice! ESPECIALLY the Adeptus Custodes...man they came out great!
Thank you. I’m happy you think so highly of my content 😊
Crimson Fists next por favor
black templars next but crimson fists in the future :D
Why didn't you use russ grey spray after wraithbone spray?
I would have used russ grey spray but you can’t buy it anymore
@@TableTopReadyCZcams russ spray instead of wraith spray, or both?
army painter wolf grey is basically the same as russ grey fyi :)
The Fang is no longer avaible 😭
What do you recommend instead?
I use wraithbone in the tutorial or you could use greyseer. Both are great 😃
@@TableTopReadyCZcams many thanks😊
But I'm asking about the wash part 😉
Oooo the fang isn’t a shade, it’s a base paint. It’s absolutely still available.
I gotta but a lot of paint man lol
I recon I spend more on paints and brushes than I do on miniatures haha but it’s an investment.
40k Wolves paint scheme vs 30k Wolves?
I don’t know 🤔 I’ve not really looked at the 30k schemes. They’re certainly less colourful. I’m sure someone has done a tutorial for 30k wolves on CZcamss though. All the techniques in this tutorial still apply, it would just be choosing what colours to swop out
Sorry, but it's a very time consuming way to paint such figures. Painting contents of a box like (Boarding or combat) would take weeks or even months. As a veteran painter I use completely different approach and get tabletop good looking & ready armies way faster. In a nutshell: 1. Glueing whole figures. 2. Priming the base colour with a rattle can + airbrushing if necessary. 3. Drybrushing. 4. Painting details (e.g. weapons) with a fine brush. 5) Shading.
Anyway, your miniature shown looks perfect.
Thank you. It depends what your after and not everybody has an airbrush which is complicated and a whole process itself. but I'm just here to show how I like to paint them. Everybody is different
you fogot to add sponsered by citidel paints
I wish they did sponsor me 😋
Great tutorial! You are great in building my self-confidence Why do you use superglue over plastic glue for final assembly, please? In your building tutorial you do it opposite way.
I'm glad i can do that for you. I use superglue on any parts i want to be able to remove later or once a part has been painted. So I'll use it to attach to something while I paint it and at the end. super glue doesn't effect the paint like the plastic glue does. I hope that makes sense.
@@TableTopReadyCZcams It does, thank you!
