- Had a mistake when I used the wrong album cover the time I uploaded this almost 7 years.
I changed the thumbnail to clarify its the actual album where that track actually belongs.
-------------------
It is similar to John Williams' arrangement used for concerts, but the slow fanfare was not included in this version.
This is also the source of the extended parts mixed in the more known released main titles ( • Superman Returns - Mai... ). The actual opening theme is shorter, as heard in the start of the film.
Music By: John Ottman
Original Superman Theme Composed By: John Williams
Released by La-La Land Records (2013)
The classic superman music ✊🏼
Music by John Williams
Adapted by John Ottman
I like the slight variations that each composer puts on Williams's original theme I especially enjoyed Ken Thorne's variation for Richard Lester version of Superman 2
Amen, my friend, we really need to stop bumping into eachother like this.
Well we do have very similar tastes in music especially our shared love for film music.
Good ear; I agree that is the best one.( Superman 2) It's extended and longer. This one is base on the John Williams original.
Oh my god, this is EPIC!!!!
I hear this theme from The Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover!
Coming soon
Superman V
Superman 5 is Superman 2025
Superman 2. ( the first version) Had the best version of the theme. It's sounds more complete.
SUPERMAN siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
This is my favourite theme song to hum to!✊✊✊✊✊
This music is singing Supermans name
On the DVD extras, Richard Donner says that he had a choice between John Williams and another composer whose name I can't remember, but the other guy was big. Donner heard Williams' idea for the theme, noticed that Williams spelled "Superman" in music and that's what put Williams over the top. Williams, in my opinion, does something similar for Star Wars. I always hear the title in the Star Wars music.
超好聽。一聽在聽。令人震撼
Isn't this the special John Williams version that he composed as a bonus track (thus put in the end credits) as a surprise, thus how the rumor goes?
John Williams was not involved in the scoring of Superman returns, he was too busy working on War of the Worlds and Star Wars Episode 3 John Ottman even invited him to scoring sessions but he couldn't attend because of distance
@@iceomistar4302 Wait, so how did the whole copyright issue go since this technically isn’t Ottman’s theme (only changed a little bit of it to fit his own).
@@sebastianmolina5606 Because WMG (Warner music group) own the rights to the main theme and can thus hire composers to rescore and manipulate the original theme with impunity
How come they didn’t add End Credits on regular soundtrack?
I don't know, but it got me peeved and I recorded myself. Every soundtrack should rightfully have the end credits!
Good soundtrack and movie

This is the opening title, not end credits.
No it isn't
@@stephenharriman9919 My mistake, I was thinking of how the end credits weren't included in the album.
@@tmntaddict had picked the wrong album cover that time I uploaded this (my bad lol)
Well the fact that track is the actual source of the extended parts mixed in the released Main Titles
This theme of DC’s Superman is similiar of theme of Pixar’s Cars
No.. Pixar's Cars theme is similiar to Superman theme
DC's Superman? What? Who says that? He's just Superman.
Woah woah woah, the cars theme sounds like the Superman theme, I had no clue the soundtracks sounded similar, I’ve watched cars so many times that this surprises me, is this actually true?
