I really value the opinion of these music industry professionals. They recognize talent when the see it, and Lovbites has talent.
A man after my own heart.. Asami is Beautiful, classy and has a voice to die for.. Another great reaction Joel.. keep em coming..
Best wishes from France
My buddy is a backline tech for old guitar gods. He hasn't liked any new bands I've shown him, except this band.
a musician instantly recognizes the talent of all the ladies. I agree with Eric, that asamis pure, powerful, dramatic and sometimes vulnerable voice and how she masters the lower and highest registers is special and amazing. thank you for your appreciation of lovebites and helping to get them known to more people. win-win.
You're doing the lords work showing your music buddies these amazing bands. Right on Joel.
I got quite impressed with Eric’s honest and warm comments to these girls, while other musicians sometimes showed overwhelmed faces in their listening but commented not interested in or just good. I feel the great musicians like Eric encourage and grow young musicians.Thank you for posting this.
I think he was holding back with his reaction. Because the look on his face was: "Oh shit... we're all screwed!" 😆
Thank you for spreading the word Joel
Another awesome video Joel!! 🤘😊🤘
Asami was one of the first things that blow me away when i first saw this performance too. Such power, especially in a song like this where the instruments are going wild the whole song!!
Haruna of course my fav 😁What a force of nature she is!! 🤘🥁🔥
Brilliant reaction. A lot of time,s Asami's vocal work get's overshawdowed by the guitar work of Midori and Miyako or the rhythm section of Haruna's drumming and Miho's bass work , but she is extremely talented and powerful. The fact that Asami is singing in English versus Japenese is even more impressive. The whole band is crazy talented.
Eric does not say much, but what he says is spot on and you get the feeling that he really means it. So, Asami and Haruna? Good choice. Everyone is so mesmerized by the guitar solos, and they should be, but the most impressive IMHO is the teamwork to just bring the song forward. Keeping the beat on those guitars is much more demanding than the solos, so is the beat on the bass and the drums. At a high speed they have to be 100% locked on to each other.
Yeah... the bass and the drum is like a backbone.. the one that support our body to be able to move.. run.. jump and etc... they are not on spotlight but they are the one to make sure the tempo is keep going - fast or slow...
there are more than 50 songs of Lovebites with various genres from power metal, thrash metal, speed metal, heavy metal, pop rock, etc and this is only just one from their masterpieces
Great to hear what you professional musicians think of this ocean of awesomeness that is the Japanese female Rock and Metal scene.
Welcome back and thank you for bring lovebites to someone never listen to them , cool bro, LOVEBITES ROCK
These reactions of you are really interesting, because we can hear the opinion of amazing guys you bring in and also yours, off course - I am, obviously, fascinated by the quality of Lovebites, but I'm not a music expert. So I'm asured I'm not been fooled! lol... Thanks a lot.
These reaction videos of yours are the best to watch. It's fun to watch when you've got some old rocker on and then you blow the bank with Lovebites Holy War. This is what I like ❤️👍👍👍
Joel, did you tell him that Haruna goes at that speed for the entire concert. Also did you mention that Miyako is self-taught on the guitar?
Pleasantly surprise that your guest pick up on Asam's beautiful voice.
You are performing a valuable public service! Keep it up! 🙂
🐺🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love these videos Joel! I'm mostly here for Lovebites, but I watch them all. Thanks so much for getting the word out like this and having guest reactors is really fun!
Show him Lovebites in Thrash Mode. 🤘🔥
🤘
funny that he never heard of Sabaton believe sabaton and Alice Cooper played on the same festival together.
🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🤘
TRY SWAN SONG BY LOVEBITES
Well he is already impressed and it's not even one off the best songs they have. For me Holy War is not even in my top20 of Lovebites songs. That says a lot about the quality of this band 🥰
