Other bassists who tap are Boh (Kami Band/Babymetal), and Miyu (Asterism). I'm sure there are others, but not a lot. Miho is bad-ass.
MISA has done a tapping intro with kanami doing a back and forth on a live version of Clang in Bochum
Hidekazu Hinata from Nothing's Carved In Stone also does a lot of bass tapping.

🎸The best tapping bassist in the Universe actually has a CZcams Channel. Check out Charles Berthoud :o) Of course there's also Victor Wooten, John Myung (Dream Theater), Billy Sheehan, Stu Hamm . . . and the majority of bass players for any all female Japanese Metal or Rock group. Charles is as good as any of them - but for straight tapping he is just on a different level. 🐺

Indeed she did tap on the bass. Watch closely and you'll see her step up to her pedal board to switch on her high gain setting, tap, and then switch it back off.
It's a fakeout. Look closely at Midori at 2:02. Midori puts the pick in her mouth to do the tap, then directly after the camera shows Miho doing the tap, you see Midori take the pick out of her mouth. It was Midori that did the tap, just as she does toward the end of the song (the pick in the mouth).

Miho (bass) with Haruna (drums) founded the band. Also Miho wrote the music and lyrics for Holy War. All write songs with Miyako, guitarist on the right, has written about half the songs with Asami writing the lyrics. Miyako has her own home studio, so her and Midori will practice in the studio to stay in sync.

Its a good "first" song, but else i would rather recommend more songs like "Epilogue", "Swan Song", "Edge of the World", "Frozen Serenade", "Empty Daydream". But thats maybe just because i am else more of a symphonic metal song, and those are a bit more "epic" and not just full speed the whole time.

Asami hit those extended belts while wearing heels, being backwards, and on a small platform, all while being 4' 10" or so. She's a badass.
I think Miho has only done bass tapping on one other track that I can think of, and that's their cover of Helloween's "Eagle Fly Free." A lot of Japan's rock and metal bass guitarists do tapping. Boh from Babymetal's Kami Band does it in the live intro to "Rondo of Nightmare," MISA from BAND-MAID does it in the live intro to "Clang," Ogawa from Unlucky Morpheus does it in "Knight of Sword," Miyu from Asterism does it a lot because he's insanely-skilled, and I'm sure Asa from Wagakki Band and Haraguchi from Nemophila can do it but just haven't that I've heard.

I would not have picked or suggested this song as it has become the one and only song many of the fake reactors listen to and trust me it has been played more than any other song. I would have left it for the very last one out of the 50+ songs, it is a banger but they do have much better songs. In any case thanks for giving these ladies so much love and exposure as I feel that they should be so much more popular than a lot of the crap that is being pushed by mainstream media.
🐺**WOW** .. I've seen this many MANY times and just noticed something new. Was listening to Myako's rythm guitar work during Midori's solo and decided to look back to see Midori's back-up for Miyako. But, Midori doesn't play there at all. The rythm there is from some freaking INSANE bass riffing by Miho during Myako's whole solo! I've never heard anyone mention it, but it's definitely worth checking out - especially if you are a big Miho fan :0)

When Lovebites come back on stage, they're not just expecting a new bass player. I think the ladies will have new stage outfits too. I hope a lot remains white, but I also hope that the outfit will be rockier. These dresses were too disproportionate to Disney. The color white is great, but too kitschik is detrimental to the rock image.🖤 🤍🖤🤍🐺
What is the Rock image? I freaking love Aldious with their gowns and they rock hard. If you mean the Metallica image then it might mean to release sub par music after a 3rd album to keep the Rock image.
