What a roller coaster ride of a song your typical proggy song takes back to the good ole days. Asami is singing when she holds the note "What is at the end of Life" This is a powerful moral song and it is quite encouraging and uplifting as are all of their songs, always so positive. I'm beginning to think many of their songs the way they are composed could be comparable to classical music . Bad Ass Classical Music!
Many great bands are lucky to have one masterpiece in their catalogue. Lovebites may have a half-dozen already. This one shows they could have gone full symphonic without a hitch. And that bluesy solo by Miyako--rips my heart out every time.
Lovebites only write masterpieces. It’s just that a handful of them are beyond masterpieces…..
@@alekhidell Ok, that's one way to put it :) I try to reserve the term for really monumental pieces. For example, while the Beatles are my favorite band of all time, I think they only did one song that qualifies as a masterpiece. Led Zeppelin as well (and it's not "Stairway to Heaven"). Just a matter of definition!
