I am putting it out into the universe, that I will be living in South Africa soon with permanent residency
You will be welcome with both hands, Spirit and Soul. That's the Spirit of UBUNTU. Welcome to the Motherland.
Thank you, I look forward to it😊
Hello Allena, I just started the process for my temp residency with "The Real SA" any advice?
@@CILO17 hello I don't live in SA, it's a dream of mine though
@@houseofallena5953 I'm in SA now and trying to find other people who have went through the process, particularly with The Real SA
South Africa is my favorite African country on the continent in 2020!
Another outstanding video. I look forward to applying for retirement visa.
You are welcame in South Africa, Most is Europens who cames hear for retirents.
Retirement visas depend upon individuals having pension funds of R34,000 per MONTH. not my figures, from sa govnmnt website.
If you then want to work, you have to apply for temp.residency, as you can’t work on a retirement visa….which means that your boss will be questioned as to why they not found any SA persons qualified to do that job….
We as black Americans need our own country (promise land) where we don't have to jump through so many hoops just to get some sunshine and fresh food which should be a given to us. You do not have to jump through hoops in Gambia, their VISA process is so much easier.
I don’t mind the hoops, I’m sold on South Africa.
@@iamDavidaRoseThat infrastructure and good prices for homes
I absolutely love what Mark and Natasha are doing. I hope to visit SA soon and relocate by 2023. I really think they should try using lapel microphones for better audio quality. My degree is in audio, and I know that I can put my skills to good use on the continent. I would eventually like to launch my business there. I think Cape Town would be a good place to start out.
enjoyed this, interesting even for me as a South African. Dispels the myth that SA doesn't welcome foreigners...keep telling non SA Africans especially, that they need to come here legally and not overstay tourist and student visas, so they can enjoy SA :)
This was really helpful. Thank you! 🙏🏾 I’ve never heard folks talking openly about the details of these options. Much appreciated. Any chance we can have her back to talk about the Volunteer Visa?
I’m a 20-something, digital-nomad type looking legal immigration options.
Thanks a lot!
Great information thanks Mark!
Thank you! I've been waiting for this. :-) xxx
This is very informative,
Thank you
Very informative video family! Peace!
Mark: "There was a braai that you missed, and you know...Nasty C is performing" , hahaha😂
😂🤣 I laughed at that part too
Great information as usual. There is one business opportunity you haven't yet mentioned. I am watching to see if you will. lol
So informative👍✌✌
Greetings The Real South Africa, great interview and very informative. Thank you for sharing....
Thanks so much for all the clarification on the different type of visas in SA. My wife and I will book at 6-day trip through your company to start this process and visit to see all the possibilities SA has to offer. Love the video. You're helping us dream again! God bless and Thanks again.
Great Job! Travel! Live! Invest! Play! In South Africa!
Third comment, yay 💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿
Great show very informative this will even help our brothers and sisters in the continent, to be legal and contribute in our beloved country .🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦 Cool ....👌👌👌
That's great news for everyone.
Yeah definitely brother. Everyone who's willing to make a positive contribution in the country, help our economy grow, has critical skills and willing to follow the laws of the country is always welcome here, no doubt about that.
I am Zimbabwean living in SA from 2007 I have a business permit, I even contributed to the economy and employed 7 local people running a coffee shop and cosmetic shop in Cape Town.
@@mosezmunzwe Those are the stories I love hearing. Africans doing amazing things, contributing to the growth of the country, making an honest living and creating opportunities. Well done brother.
@@kagisomgibi4644 I always tell people if you want to do right or good business, do the right way or right things because the day you are going to be a Millionaire, people are going to start digging about your life. Even you are local or foreigner.
The real South Africa you are the best! Thank you for this informative show.
I’m not sure how I missed this video, but it answered a lot of my questions in planning for official retirement in the next 1.5 year. I will be there at the 1st of the month to visit, and to sign up for some tours that you offer while visiting. You guys are great.
Hello Angie shoot us a email info@therealsouthafrica.com
Thank you💝
In Gambia both me and my husband both got a 5 year visa on arrival not sure if they give this to everyone but it is something to think about!!!
Where are you from
University of Cape Town (UCT) Tuition average for Undergrad degree = R100k+ and for Post graduate = R13k to R 60k plus...1 US dollar = R16.5___so just divide those figures by 16.5 to get $
My Alma Mater 😊
Shalom shalom brother Blanton. My question is regarding the info in the video which seems to slightly contrast with info from another of your videos. If one comes to SA on a tourist visa, it can be extended up to 6mo. Then you MUST leave the country for a day or so before returning to start the process over. In this video you said we must leave SA and return to our home country (USA). In another video sister Blanton said you can leave by just crossing he border for the same amount of time and then return to SA to start the process over again. Can you please clarify? Thank you for your time and attention. Shalom and blessings.
I like her glasses.
A detailed video indeed.. I have a question is it R12 million per person or is there a spousal package something that accommodates if you have a partner?
Hi - can you please update this now that the 2022 critical skills list has been announced? I understand the job seeking visa is gone, and you need to verify all past work experience, which may delay visa approval for those planning trips now. Thank you.
I'm not the first commenter!! 😮
Im fourth..

I wonder what proof do I need to come up with on my first time getting a extended visa to add as many days as I want?
I wonder how this would work for someone who is self employed and majority income is digital.
I have a question.. What if an individual is about four years out before being eligible for Social Security and a pension..If the individual has substantial means regarding savings and can easily withdraw R37,000 per month for four years (duration of Retirement visa) to sustain himself.. Will a Retirement Visa be given under these circumstances?
How about Military Veterans that earn Disability Benefits that bring in the R37K per month.....I guess that should be good?
Yes..$2300 US a month is the requirement.. R37K is $2300 a month
Yes military people and retired law enforcement should apply it is regardless of age. Contact us for more details outreach@therealsouthafrica.com
I would like to know if they tax the pension or social security.@@TRSA

Americans have been good to me while in exile in the USA as an ex SA refugee and now a Naturalized Citizen. You are welcome to my Motherland, South Africa!
Thanks family
I’m seventh today ..
Stay tuned more on this subject
I’ve heard that along with the R37,000 You have to have $100K in savings?
How do I hold of Jennifer? I am from the UK and looking into applying for the financial independent visa.
Send email to outreach@therealsouthafrica.com
Hey, so on the retirement visa, is it R37,000 each, or per household?
Each person however reach out to us for clarification
What if you go to another country after your 90 days Visa has expired besides your country of origin, is that violating SA Policy for a visa?
The short answer is yes when are a overstay you do not qualify for a Visa
Never ever let it expire!....you know you want to stay longer, so make proper arrangements to extend your stay.
I don’t think you all answered his question. He’s asking, if you can visit another country, as opposed to returning to your home country, before you return to SA to get a new 90 day tourist Visa (if I am correct).
I also had this question the last time I was there (Nov 2019-Feb 2020), because when I had visited 7 years prior, you COULD simply visit another country, come back, and get a new 90 day tourist Visa. This time around, I knew I couldn’t visit neighboring countries, but I wondered if I could leave the region and return. Anyway, I didn’t chance it. Ended up going home and being very sad. Lol.
From the information this lovely lady provided in the video, my guess would be no. That you have to return to your own home country of origin, not any other county.
Please, someone chime in if there is other/different information.
@@ifemadzimoyo he can go to Botswana, Namibia for a minute...which are some neighboring countries and return. The answer has been given YES. He only cannot do that if he had overstayed his 90 day vist.
@@ifemadzimoyo I'm trying to avoid that feeling you've experience having to return back to the US.. In Tanzania you could just go to Rwanda for a day, then return, avoiding overstaying your 90 day visa. Thank you all for chiming in.
For middle class Black Americans that wants to enjoy their money. You can buy a R1,5 million house in upmarket so called white neighbourhood. There infrastructures are much more developed than the blacks and coloureds due to the apartheid system. Then you can do more with your money
What are you saying?
