How to get Max Exit Velo at Baseball and Fastpitch showcases, tryouts, and videos.

For better or worse, one often used metric showcases and tryouts like to use is your exit velo. They often measure this from a tee against an L screen where you hit a radar gun on the other side. Most of these tryouts/showcases allow you three hits into a tee. This video shows you how to make the most of those three chances.

There are no cheats here---were not talking about illegal bats or gaming the system. We're talking about how you can make sure you're getting the best reading possible for showcases and tryouts where coaches use an exit velo setup from a tee into an L Screen.
Of course, the answer is also to practice and get stronger. But, the technique here is useful if you're trying to get the max number you can.
Sadly, this metric isn't about hitting well as it is hitting hard---and there are definitely some differences. But, it is what it is and a lot of so-called scouting services report this number ad naseum.

1. Get the Best Baseball.
2. Hit directly at the Radar Gun.
3. Use a Bigger Bat.
4. (Bonus) Find a BBCOR bat with the most pop (but that doesn't help as much as someone might think it does).
