I'd say pepsi is the best touch freight company in Nashville. Paid hourly with OT after 40 and all the trailers have lift gates and electric pallet jacks. No ramps, no stairs. Some stops you don't even have to stock. Just drop whole pallet off and done. Not the best trucks though.

I left Coke for beer distributor. Went from dealing with mostly convenient store to restaurants and I love it! Although Coke was a good first CDL job there is much more money in beer than Coke/Pepsi!

I work for Budweiser NYC, and I've been with the company for 8 months. The beer industry can really take a toll on your body, and it's not worth the money. I've already acquired my tanker and hazmat endorsements , and I'm eagerly looking forward to moving on.

I'm at a beer company right now, my first cdl job. It's physical but the labor is not that hard. But what I don't like so far is the checking part, customers taking their sweet time to get to you! That literally adds damn near a 1 and half hour to your day alone. And also the rotating and dates on the beer but other than that it's not bad.

Exactly this. I’ve been driving for a beer company for close to a year now. I really don’t mind the physical part of the job. It’s the damn customers taking forever and having to grab checks. If I could just drop the beer and go the job honestly wouldn’t be too bad.

I work for Pepsi, went from merchandising to getting paid CDL training and becoming a driver, our plant is a little different from others cus we’re teamsters unionized, with that being said yes, there are days where you need lots of patience cus you’ll find your stuck behind drivers. Day normally range from 10-14 hours, but we get paid overtime and our hourly tops out at $40.50 per hour. I love the pay and my management team generally doesn’t complain so long as we return with an empty truck. My yearly since driving has always hit 115k my best year was 127k.
