I don’t know if it’s because I’m an old guy or something else but I find Nightwish music an emotional roller coaster. Beautiful, symphonic, uplifting, sad, happy, and a dozen other emotions and usually end up in tears but in a nice way. I’m addicted to Nightwish and I’m loving it. Floor is perfect in every way for Nightwish. I Love her voice and stage presence. Long live Nightwish. 👍🏻

For those complaining about the way the band sounds here, it's the mixing, not them. If you think like this, it's obvious you haven't seen them live. Their live gigs are beyond amazing. And Floor live is mindblowing.
Could not agree more i had the same feeling about their 2015 Wembley performance the mixing let them down but live they've never been anything but flooring! ;)

I discovered "Nightwish" several years ago, and had the opportunity to see them in Charlotte,NC, in 18. What a super band. I live them. I'm 73 years old, and feel like I'm lucky as can be to have found them.
Discovered them in '14, first live show in '15 in Buffalo NY. I feel the same. This is especially true in the U.S. where we wouldn't know about all the great music coming out of Europe without the internet. I wish I could have known about them from the beginning.
Nope, wrong. I was there and this video doesn't do the crowd justice. The crowd went absolutely nuts for the band, but our screams, cheers and singing were largely left out of the mix. I can assure you that they went down a storm, there was plenty of movement, and the crowd was anything but dead.

I get goose bumps, hair standing on end, and chills when I hear her. I'm just in awe of Floor and of Nightwish period. I can't get enough of them.
I recently "found" Nightwish, and man! In the past ive heard some songs, but recently been watching live shows, and the passion and show these guys put on is AMAZING!!
1:19:00 In the following part I calculated roughly 10 different voices/styles, depending where you draw the line, Between which she shifts effortlessly and playfully. You can even hear what sounds to me like Tarjas voice descending at "Relive the old sin..." True mastery of her art individually and a display of how comfortable she has grown to be in the band, singing it's songs as a frontwoman.
I knew about Nightwish before but just now I started to listen to them. I hade my first Floorgasm and now I am hooked😉. Why didn't I listen to them before? I really love their music. Nightwish Army Forever🤘

I one hundred percent agree with Alex Hamilton. The songs that have me in tears are Poet and the Pendulum and The Greatest Show on Earth!!!!!! I found this band during the Pandemic and am in awe of all of the talent past and present!!!!!
I miss Marco also, his voice and Bass style can't be replaced. Marco's replacement is also a Jukka - Jukka koskinen is their new bass player, kind of a stiff guy but he's really good on bass. Kai Hanto 'IS' a machine on drums, I like him alot, tough to fill Jukka's spot - ya'know.

SheBangsPrP - I did not know Nightwish was recording their new DVD in Buenos Aires. I saw Nightwish at Wembley Arena on 8 December last year and Floor said the show is being recorded for a DVD too. I suppose they are recording at different venues for the upcoming DVD - a selection of best performances. Oh yes - the Wembley Arena crowd was enthusiastic.
@@nafisahmohamed4772 Tuomas himself granted several confirmed interviews that the next DVD would be recorded by the images of Buenos Aires or Colombia, which would probably have been more likely to be Buenos Aires because Floor was a bit ill in Colombia. Just want to thank CZcams...without them I would never have heard of them..and I am totally enthralled with these guys who dont get any airplay here in the states,which is sad..they are musical geniuses!!!!
On our local jukeboxes we find Nightwish photo with Miss Floor, but she sings no songs here. The only singers offered up are Annete and Tarja. When I brought this to the attention of a jukebox worker he informed me that the likely cause was between the band and the jukeboxe operators. While I like Tarja, I want to hear Floor as well. Personally, if I could make such things happen, I would trade out those old jukeboxes for CZcams Video jukeboxes. The way they would work is one would put their money in like normal but would have access to a greater wealth of music. Their music selections might show up on the venue's televisions per the venue operator's needs. Every third song would start or finish with an advertisement which is where CZcams would get it's money. We would get access to everything the artist would be willing to release, (for instance Ghost Love Score from Waken 2013 as well as GLS filmed at other venues). Perhaps something could even be worked out between CZcams and the artist where the artists also got residuals for each time their songs were played. As an added benefit, the artist would know before going out on tour which cities preferred which songs. They might tailor their set lists a bit to cater to those cities. What I suggest here needs to be in our future or we will be stuck with the same old crap that the jukebox operators let us hear. I ask you all this: Would you rather select the only version of "Freebird" or would you prefer to listen to "Everdream" and get to choose between Kai's and Jukka's drumming?

Always loved metal since being a kid in the late 70's early 80's - never heard these until Planet Rock played a song on the radio today - looked them up and now hooked by Floors powerful voice
Too bad the sound quality of this show sucks. And the audience is dead. Apart from these two facts, I can only agree with you. I've never been a big fan of Tarja, I even liked it, but after Anette came in I gave up on accompanying Nightwish. Then came this metal fairy in 2012, when Floor came in, I hooked on the band and this wonderful woman. Floor Jansen is a gift to humanity.

Yooo, the 2018 tour was killer. A great throwback to the old days. And three MONSTER songs at the end of the setlist??? They pulled out all the stops. Floor handled the setlist like a BOSS, despite the fatigue.
This is the greatest band that is still performing. All three of their lead singers were wonderful and amazing, and I have never heard more beautiful rock songs than Amaranth and Nemo; after many listenings they still blow me away. I want to go and see Nightwish in concert as soon as I can.
@@robertcameron1579 She's great in the studio, especially on Imaginaerum, but her consistency live probably wasn't at the level needed for an act like Nightwish with the intensity of the touring schedule they had at that point in their career. Annette's work with Allen/Olzon and The Dark Element since she left Nightwish is fantastic! czcams.com/video/0_z0rCIvZjU/video.html In hindsight Tarja leaving and Annette leaving just gave us more great music! Tarja's solo work is awesome, Annette has been involved in some great projects, and now we have Floor with Nightwish. The only downside is that we lost Floor working with Revamp!

I did listen them in 90s and early 2000, but when Anette came i didn't pay much attention. But thanks to all youtube videos i found Nightwish again and with Floor they are better than ever!
Same here. Not that I made a choice to stop listening to them when Anette joined. I did actually listen and liked the album she is on, but it sort of just faded away. Floor brought them back to life for sure.

Such a powerful and amazing performance! Thank you Nightwish! Thank you Floor! Thanks Bloodstockfestivals for the upload this full set! I love that Floor give everything for the audience. Floor rules the full stage with full of energy (with dancing moves, small theatrical gestures and communication with the audience). This woman is a pure magic and gift for humanity. I wonder how that Floor have enough energy after these shows to make autographs and photos with fans. Floor have a beautiful heart and soul! I love this woman. Her voice, performance, femininity, presence, style... all of them! I really hope Floor will singing for so many years for us (with or without Nightwish). Floor deserve every support, love, appreciation and respect! I hope one day I meet with her and we can talk a little bit (and thank her for everything includes the After Forever/ReVamp era). Can't wait the new Nightwish DVD/Blu-ray (Decades Live) release this year! :)

Hopefully one day I have chance to meet with her, but before/after the Budapest + Vienna live shows we have not a chance to Meet&Greet with Nightwish. Only "immortal" (not from the audience/fans) interview guys meet with the band and Floor. Life is so unfair. :(

Excellent setlist. Wish they would write a bit more hard tunes like Slaying the Dreamer to push Floor's vocals into the lower register and vary the repertoire. Outstanding musicians; whatta woman!
Floor is THE singer of Nightwish. She is the reason why NW can do a lots of their older material again. That was not possible with Anette (with all my respect to her as well). I am very happy that Floor took on this job as the front singer of Nightwish - she has the entire pakage. BUT Slaying The Dreamer belongs to Tarja, in my opinion after listening to Floor's version.
Thank you for posting this entire concert :D! The audio mixing was distracting, but Floor's beautiful smile and personality warms my heart no matter what the circumstances. At 61 my fondest wish is to see them in concert before I die and to tell Floor 'thank you' for decades of the most epic vocals I have ever heard in my life.

well to be fair jukka just hits those drums like they stole his lunch money :P jokes aside the energy level of jukka when he played drums was just out of this world and you could hear it and feel it . kai is great drummer but he has big shoes to fill . kai play pretty much flawless jukka just had this ungodly energy

I am so glad that this performance was recorded and uploaded. I Saw their "Decades" performance live in Zurich, Switzerland and bloody hell, was it a ride! I have seen them live like 10 times, starting 2012. Every performance, I was lucky enough to witness, was nothing short of incredible! But that show I watched in Zurich just completely blew my mind! Two and a half hours(!) they played song, after song, after song! And I tell you, when the concert was finished I thought by myself "Oh wow these one and a half hours went by really fast", checked the time and was like: "holy crap... that didn't feel like 2.5 hours at all!" Just completely amazing. I am very glad that I can enjoy this concert until their new Album is finaly released! I am very excited to see, what Tuomas and Marco have in store for us next time!
We played the Friday. Was honoured to be among such a wicked line up. Even though I (Steve - Vocals) was back at camp on care duties for my wife and best mate, they sounded stunning. I'm so happy BOA put the full set up so I can see what I heard. Its awesome!
Such an amazing performance, and Floor is so spontaneous, full of energy - like a force of nature. Her improvised dancing moves, small theatrical gestures, everything oozes with energy and brings a smile to my face. You can see how she enjoys what she's doing, I bet this empowers and inspires all the band members even more. She and Nightwish helped me to get through rough times, and I constatnly find strength in myself thanks to them. Oh, and I forgot to note fantastic editing work for the concert, how it all fades away into black with soothing final accords of the Greatest Show and Earth. Majestic!

You can see in some of their concerts (Wacken 2013 comes to mind) how the others are indeed inspired and empowered by Floor's performance. The way their faces light up and they burst with smiles just says it all :) A lot of bands have talented musicians who don't come to their right because the front person isn't the best and the performance is dampened. With Nightwish that is not the case. Every member perform their fullest and Floor certainly gives it all that extra kick :)

She really is such a great vocalist! She seemed to be having some vocal difficulties during this performance and she still killed it.
It seems like the band couldn't hear the monitor perfectly. Marco's voice slightly out of tune too.

Kai Hanto 'IS' a machine on drums, I like him alot, tough to fill Jukka's spot - ya'know.

Kai's playing is almost too precise for my taste. I think Jukka had kind of a swing in his timing which sounded more natural for many songs.

SheBangsPrP - I did not know Nightwish was recording their new DVD in Buenos Aires. I saw Nightwish at Wembley Arena on 8 December last year and Floor said the show is being recorded for a DVD too. I suppose they are recording at different venues for the upcoming DVD - a selection of best performances. Oh yes - the Wembley Arena crowd was enthusiastic.

The Wembley Setlist was wonderful, but no audience surpassed Buenos Aires in 2012 and Wacken in 2013. The Floor will always praise every place she sings, even those that the audience looks like zombies =)

Just want to thank CZcams...without them I would never have heard of them..and I am totally enthralled with these guys who dont get any airplay here in the states,which is sad..they are musical geniuses!!!!
On our local jukeboxes we find Nightwish photo with Miss Floor, but she sings no songs here. The only singers offered up are Annete and Tarja. When I brought this to the attention of a jukebox worker he informed me that the likely cause was between the band and the jukeboxe operators. While I like Tarja, I want to hear Floor as well. Personally, if I could make such things happen, I would trade out those old jukeboxes for CZcams Video jukeboxes. The way they would work is one would put their money in like normal but would have access to a greater wealth of music. Their music selections might show up on the venue's televisions per the venue operator's needs. Every third song would start or finish with an advertisement which is where CZcams would get it's money. We would get access to everything the artist would be willing to release, (for instance Ghost Love Score from Waken 2013 as well as GLS filmed at other venues). Perhaps something could even be worked out between CZcams and the artist where the artists also got residuals for each time their songs were played. As an added benefit, the artist would know before going out on tour which cities preferred which songs. They might tailor their set lists a bit to cater to those cities. What I suggest here needs to be in our future or we will be stuck with the same old crap that the jukebox operators let us hear. I ask you all this: Would you rather select the only version of "Freebird" or would you prefer to listen to "Everdream" and get to choose between Kai's and Jukka's drumming?

I've never been a big fan of Tarja, I even liked it, but after Anette came in I gave up on accompanying Nightwish. Then came this metal fairy in 2012, when Floor came in, I hooked on the band and this wonderful woman. Floor Jansen is a gift to humanity.

Yooo, the 2018 tour was killer. A great throwback to the old days. And three MONSTER songs at the end of the setlist??? They pulled out all the stops. Floor handled the setlist like a BOSS, despite the fatigue.
This is the greatest band that is still performing. All three of their lead singers were wonderful and amazing, and I have never heard more beautiful rock songs than Amaranth and Nemo; after many listenings they still blow me away. I want to go and see Nightwish in concert as soon as I can.
Annette has a weak voice and could just not cut it compared to the other two!
@@robertcameron1579 She's great in the studio, especially on Imaginaerum, but her consistency live probably wasn't at the level needed for an act like Nightwish with the intensity of the touring schedule they had at that point in their career. In hindsight Tarja leaving and Annette leaving just gave us more great music! Tarja's solo work is awesome, Annette has been involved in some great projects, and now we have Floor with Nightwish. The only downside is that we lost Floor working with Revamp!

Same here. Not that I made a choice to stop listening to them when Anette joined. I did actually listen and liked the album she is on, but it sort of just faded away. Floor brought them back to life for sure.

Floor is THE singer of Nightwish. She is the reason why NW can do a lots of their older material again. That was not possible with Anette (with all my respect to her as well). I am very happy that Floor took on this job as the front singer of Nightwish - she has the entire pakage.
BUT Slaying The Dreamer belongs to Tarja, in my opinion after listening to Floor's version.
Even in a poorly mixed video they still sound amazing...

I am so glad that this performance was recorded and uploaded. I Saw their "Decades" performance live in Zurich, Switzerland and bloody hell, was it a ride! I have seen them live like 10 times, starting 2012. Every performance, I was lucky enough to witness, was nothing short of incredible! But that show I watched in Zurich just completely blew my mind! Two and a half hours(!) they played song, after song, after song! And I tell you, when the concert was finished I thought by myself "Oh wow these one and a half hours went by really fast", checked the time and was like: "holy crap... that didn't feel like 2.5 hours at all!" Just completely amazing. I am very glad that I can enjoy this concert until their new Album is finaly released! I am very excited to see, what Tuomas and Marco have in store for us next time!
We played the Friday. Was honoured to be among such a wicked line up. Even though I (Steve - Vocals) was back at camp on care duties for my wife and best mate, they sounded stunning. I'm so happy BOA put the full set up so I can see what I heard. Its awesome!

Such an amazing performance, and Floor is so spontaneous, full of energy - like a force of nature. Her improvised dancing moves, small theatrical gestures, everything oozes with energy and brings a smile to my face. You can see how she enjoys what she's doing, I bet this empowers and inspires all the band members even more. She and Nightwish helped me to get through rough times, and I constatnly find strength in myself thanks to them. Oh, and I forgot to note fantastic editing work for the concert, how it all fades away into black with soothing final accords of the Greatest Show and Earth. Majestic!

You can see in some of their concerts (Wacken 2013 comes to mind) how the others are indeed inspired and empowered by Floor's performance. The way their faces light up and they burst with smiles just says it all :) A lot of bands have talented musicians who don't come to their right because the front person isn't the best and the performance is dampened. With Nightwish that is not the case. Every member perform their fullest and Floor certainly gives it all that extra kick :)
They are even better when you see them live, almost a studio session every time
