- Here’s a very fast and easy way to install a Hoselink retractable hose reel without post hole digging, without concrete. Effortless…You can do it in minutes! Great install hack for this one of a kind garden hose. Hoselink makes outdoor living so much easier by removing the pain of rolling up the garden hose. No more hoses laying in your backyard!

It's helpful that you show you can install it on a pole without needing concrete into ground or drill to your house - appreciate you showing a simple instal
Glad it was helpful!
GREAT PRODUCT with a retractable, lightweight, rotating, great flow watering hose. Eager to own one but a disabled senior on a fixed income, so saving up to own one!
This is so much better than drilling into your house! Thank you for posting this great idea
It is also recommended that you shut the water off at the source and open sprayer to drain water as it rewinds.
Good tip!
I installed two washers where the hoselink unit sits on the pole as the pole is sharp - the two washers will prevent the pole from chewing the unit from the bottom
Great tip!!
I LOVE this Hoselink! Where has this been all my life!
It’s great for sure!
I have seen these before. I always wondered what the installation and set up was like. This makes it look quick and easy, I need to consider one of these for my yard.
So easy to use!
Need one...Watching all my YT Vloggers use them two years now. Have 13 herniated disc as a disabled senior. Photo is when joined 2004. This is what I plan to do too. I don't have fancy tools.
Love hoselink!
Me too!
Can you use different quick connects on hoselink? Have a lot of eley quick connects.
FYI. The mount doesn't fit the 1 inch pipe perfectly. it does wiggle a bit when mounted.
This looks like a great mounting method. How is the pipe holding up? Is it still firmly in the ground or is anything getting loose?
All good
thanks for this video, exactly how I want to install mine, what is the size of the inner tube for the hose connector to fit in, thanks in advance
Glad it was helpful! I’m not sure I understand your question about the tube size for the hose connector. Could you clarify that for me?
Very helpful. How has this mounting method held up thus far? Has the post bent over any with the tugging of the hose?
Not much. The one on the back side of the house has moved a little bit but it was also a taller pipe.
Thank you, what I need to know is the size of the tube so that the hoselink fits inside
I used 1” galvanized pipe at 36” length.
Is it lightweight? My issue is I’m always breaking or damaging my plants dragging my hose trying to water the garden. I love the idea of having a hoselink 😀
It’s pretty standard weight compared to other garden hoses. But the retractable nature of it makes it a dream to keep hoses from being scattered around on the ground.
Have you noticed any less flow from the Hoselink hose as compared to a standard garden hose? My understanding is that you have to use the hose it comes with, so I want to make sure I get a similar flow rate to a regular hose before plunking down a couple hundred bucks. Thanks.
To me the flow rate is sufficient. If there’s any drop in pressure from a standard garden hose, it’s likely due to the Hoselink being an 80ft hose.
@@briandaniels4 Thanks!
You bet!! Thanks for being a part of this community!
It's a 1/2 hose it will not deliver water like 5/8 - 3/4 so it's only for watering garden wouldn't use 1/2 hose for powerwasher lol
If your going long distance and want best water flow 3/4 hose is where it's at no drop off
Any way to secure it from quick theft?
That’s a good question. I’m not sure. It’s so easy to install that it could be just as easy to take. But it’s not super light weight and could be a bit awkward to carry away.
You can actually install a padlock if you use the bracket they recommend for installing. Using the pipe like this, I do not believe you can.
