But the guys over at pro-speed autosports out of Huston Texas have a few upgrades that could help out. Pretty sure my 2008 Tundra Crewmax 4x4 with the 5.7 V8 TRD Supercharger, JBA longtubes, custom catless 2.5" true duals dumped before the axle, SABM with aFe drop in filter, custom tuned by DAP, geared down from 4.30 to 4.88 and added a mechanical limited slip differential in the rear, mild lift of 3/1" on 35" MT's and 20" rims would demolish the Ram in a drag race (especially if he's only running mid/high 12's in the quarter with over 700hp at the crank) I'd love a shot at it on pavement or dirt, sand, mud, climbing rocks, or just ride comfort by fitting 5 guys all above 6'4" 200lbs would fit comfortably while riding along. That's ALL from a 13 year old, used like a truck daily, and over 180k miles! The Ram wouldn't stand a chance, if it did run with me it would be on the big end. My 4.88's running in 4hi will start falling back at around 90mph and that Ram would likely go around me if it finished out front. One thing I know is it would never out 60' me! My stalled to 2200rpm 4hi launch chirps all 4 tires and she's gone!
I'd much rather go head to head in an off-road environment. That's where my old truck shines, makes other half tons look like 2wd base models lol. The Tundras from 2007 to current with the 5.7 even stock are DOGS off-road, would be stronger without the electronic limited slip differential. Get some!
