@@tuluppampam bro? Italy didnt betray the axis, the fascist movement in italy lost and Mussolini was unalived. Then the other movement in Italy that was against Fascism helped the allies and the rest is history. Italy only betrayed in ww1 and won and lost in ww2.

Italy's focus tree is short because Mussolini was strung up by a short rope long before the war was done

Funny thing about real ww2 Italy is that Mussolini knew very well that Italy couldn't do anything, thus he asked Hitler for absurd amounts of resources to "prepare" for the war
Mussolini never wanted to join the war, he only planned to pretend to be useful
And he also allied Hitler and tried keeping the alliance because he thought they'd win, so when Germany started losing Mussolini knew it was time to change sides

I think something cool would be like a perfect axis gameplay. Get an appropriate and realistic amount of land and germany a realistic amount too. I just want to see what that would've taken historically and to see the pretty borders

IMO the best for having a very aggressive early game is Japan. Just join Axis, attack Netherlands and land on one of the DEI islands to annex in peace deal. Then do same with the UK. After that, France and the USA are sitting ducks in the early game, especially if you do the Superiority of the Will focua.

Just a thought - you might be able to reduce world tension to the point where Czechoslovakia can’t join the Allies by liberating a bunch of France’s colonies to reduce world tension. Haven’t tried this but figured it’d be a good theory to test.
best way is just to encircle paris and not capitulate them while you kill romania cze and yugo and then u can annex them all in one big peace deal
@@cosubo8509 Thats also a really good idea, but it would probably be harder than that because of disjointed government, you'd need to not take any cities and then pray your troops don't accidentally take too many minor ones.
