Cecily sitting on Bill Haders lap in the wheelchair was so hilarious. I honestly don’t know how she held it together during the Close Encounter skit which imo is one of the funniest I have seen!
Cecily Strong sure seems like a fun person to be around. Seems like she truly knows what she's doing.
Cecily was amazing on SNL. She's one of the top reasons I got into SNL. She played very convincing characters and even when her jokes were hilarious, she rarely broke character.

When I realized that Cecily was leaving the show, I was in tears, as the cast that I started watching the show with were all almost all gone! (Season 40)
I started watching during season 12 when I was 12 years old, so that cast will always be the definitive one for me. Most, if not all, of them were gone by the mid 1990s. I still remember watching the first episode of season 21 in late 1995, which had an almost entirely new cast. I specifically remember the "Get off the shed" skit, which was Will Ferrell's first-ever skit. I thought that particular skit was funny but it felt like a completely different show and I lost interest in watching it regularly.
I only know the newer cast members from various skits I've watched on CZcams, because I haven't watched an actual live episode of SNL since about 1997. I love Cecily Strong and Vanessa Bayer, but I couldn't care less about any of the others.
She was truly versatile, excelling as the drunk and extreme weirdos, but great in everything she did. I miss her so much❤️

I agree with a lot of these. However, the "Brothers" sketch with Liev Schreiber should have been included. Cecily really struggled to keep from laughing in that one.
