ANY of the alien abduction sketches with Kate McKinnon are worthy of the top spot. One of my all-time favorite repeating bits! If you can get through a sketch with Kate McKinnon without laughing, I salute you!

That Debbie Downer at Disneyworld sketch is one of my favorites, and Lindsay Lohan just completely failing to hold it together was a big part of that.

The sheer magnitude of how everyone broke down is the only reason the subsequent sketch with Ben Affleck didn’t make this list.
20:35 you can see Lindsay looking over at Fred to get a cue to do her line, and he gives a little nod for her to go ahead.

I just noticed the “golf cart” in the super showcase models sketch is just a mobility scooter wrapped in cardboard 😂 I think that adds to the hilarity

The Encounters made me laugh a lot and very loud, I rewatch those sketches about once a year - still the same result
Also Adele's suffering in the Afrika sketch gets me each time
The Barry Gibb talk show is one of my favorites, right along with Ryan Goslings “close encounters” sketch. 😂😂

It truly was never fair to have to work with Kate MacKinnon. She's the modern, female version of Tim Conway. She viewed her job as being the one to break people.

I think its halarious that in the second close encounters one they sat him beside her so he couldnt hide 😂😂
My favorite skit was one with Billy Crystal, Martin Short and Julia Louise Dreyfus. During the sketch, Short slaps the back of Crystal's head, dislodging his wig to the side. Crystal is the ONLY one who doesn't know, as he continues the sketch. By the end, the audience is rolling in laughter, and finally short looks at Crystal directly and dramatically adjusts his hair for him. Crystal is too embarrassed to continue, and they end the sketch. It was hilarious.
I think Pedro's skit should've been closer to #1, I LOL every time I see it. I also think the Debbie Downer skit should've been #1, but the alien skit is HILARIOUS.

The greatest "host breaking character" skit is when Billy Crystal as "Fernando", broke both Mr. T. & Hulk Hogan.

9:33 #12 This scene with Candice Bergen and Gilda Radner is my all-time favorite SNL sketch! It makes me laugh just to think about it!
It's not an SNL skit, but the extended Elephant Story from The Carol Burnett Show was probably the best celeb breaking scene there is.

The most amazing aspect of the Cork Soakers sketch is that Jimmy Fallon and Horatio Sanz were somehow the only ones who didn’t break.

You completely missed the 80s. The Season 11 finale. It wasn’t a “break into laughter “, but a break of character still. Jon Lovitz was playing the Devil and forgot a line, hesitated and slipped into his Tommy Flanaghan pathological liar character and back into the Devil with Tommy dialogue.
Sketch. Never skit. Ever. A skit is what you do in Sunday school. Sketches are worked on, re-written and rehearsed. There's a huge difference.
I really wish you would show a bit more of the skits instead of just explaining what happened.

I think the Super Showcase Models sketch should have been A LOT higher than 19! For me personally, it is my favorite character break of all-time! Even Maya Rudolph said it was her very favorite sketch that she's done (and she has made hilarious sketches) and I don't think she gets enough credit! 😂❤😂❤
Be nice if the narrator stopped talking long enough for us to hear the actors talking

Matt foley skit was the only one when i watched literally made me fall off couch, first mckinnon close encounter, debbie downer and cork soakers top ones for me with lovers and cowbell honorable mentions

The ones that make me laugh the most for some reason are the Bill Hader, Margot Robbie, Pedro Pascal, Jamie Fox, and Kevin Hart ones. I think the ones where the actors seem to be really struggling seem to make it even more hilarious.
Some other lesser known ones that crack me up are:
1. Mary Katherine Gallagher with Rosie O'Donnell and Whitney Houston: They seemed to already be in a giggly mood from the start. But then when Mary Katherine starts smelling her fingers, they lose it.
2. Debbie Downer with Ben Affleck: They all start giggling but Ben laughs so much he can barely deliver his lines.
As a side note, Ego's performance as 'Lisa' is one of the funniest sketches SNL has had in the past few years! Pedro added to the hilarity! I hope they bring Lisa back many, many times! And 'Escorts' with Emily Blunt is also in my Top 5 sketches of all-time!
Ego as “Lisa from Temecula” is one of my all-time favorites, then there’s that Jaime Foxx skit where he’s the bailiff, these two always crack me up, I laugh harder & harder every time I watch these skits ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Been awhile since I watched a mojo post. Now, I remember why I quit watching them. The voice over explaining what you can see and hear.
I beg to differ about Ryan’s reprise. 😂 Kate and her “last guy who did that got double barrel pink eye” had him shaking.
I wish we saw more of the sketches and less of the host describing the skits.

Pedro Pascal really resembles Hal Linden who played Barney Miller! And Candace Bergen is drop dead gorgeous. Yeah…I’m old! 🧑🏻🦳☺️ It’s a shame that Lindsay Lohan burned up the way she did. I think she has a marvelous screen presence and have enjoyed all of her performances I’ve seen. She’s so darned talented! These we’re all very funny to see again!
