This is exactly what happened with me, my soon to be ex husband and his mom. A yr and a half into our marriage my ex started discarding me, he would leave our home by starting a fight, blame me for the fight. Block me on his phone and ghost me for days or even weeks at a time. He has addiction issues and I knew he was using hardcore drugs and alcohol. I later found out he was also cheating on me. I tried to text his mother what was going on and she always would end up talking to him without answering me. He told her I was crazy and then he would message me and tell me that his mom wanted me to know she didn’t want to hear about our ‘marital problems’. I was scared for him and our marriage. I was trying to get help from his family, he’s an only child. The last time I took him back was June 2021, we went to his moms house to pick up his stuff and she told him “Get that woman out of my house!” I’ve never cheated on him or lied to him or done anything to deserve how they both treated me. It was crazy and yes he always sided with her except for that particular time. I’m happy to be getting out of this toxic situation. Thank you for addressing this issue. ❤

I discovered that my guy and his mother had this issue. She sees him as a suragate husband, even though her husband is around. I don't feel good when around her. She tries to be friendly, but i know it's fake.
Girl, are you still with him? If you allow me to ask you some questions, did you talk about it with your guy or does he know how you feel when you're around her and neglect it? Pay attention. He came from a very toxic mother and it tends to end not very well. Save yourself. God bless you 💕
exactly the same with covert narcissistic women and their mothers. I had 2 experiences, same setup. Very critical mother but act as a saint. And very controlling. I told both of them to send their mothers to hell or at least say NO, but it was impossible. They are slaves of them and I've noticed it's generational sequence. I felt huge pity for those narc girls. Slaves for life, likely. 2yo slaves, emotionally.

One mother used her son as her husband after the guy died. they mom & son were beyond close but she tore him apart, was super nasty to me, hated his friends and learned everything about his women then turned all of it against them no matter how mice the women were. she was jealous! jealous! jealous!

Been with him for 24 years, married 22 and last year things exploded with his narc family and narc mother after they started making lewd comments to my children and my husband would not deal with it and I stood up to them all and he threw me under the bus and I became their scapegoat. I just read Ken Adams' book "When He's Married to Mom" and everything about him that I've been in a fog about for over 20 years now makes sense and it is disturbing as well as enlightening. Trying to figure out where to go from here. Daughter is 18 and son is almost 14. I do not want to be with him anymore. He has betrayed me over and over and this latest betrayal with his mom was the final straw.

He asked me negotiate a DIVORCE BETWEEN HIM AND MY SISTER! HE NEVER TOLD HER HOW UNHAPPY HE WAS IN THEMARRIAGE. HE TOLD ME ONE DAY THAT HE HATED MY SISTER AND HE WANTED A DIVORCE. HIS MOTHER SAID "NO DIVORCE". SO MY B-IN-LAW CAME TO ME! TO ALLOW HIM TO DIVORCE MY SISTER/ HIS WIFE! WHEN I FINALLY TOLD MY SISTER WHAT WAS HAPPENING HE TURNED IT ALL AROUND TO TELL MY SISTER "IWAS COMING ON TO HIM!" WHAT?????????????????????? THEN HE MADE HER CHOOSE BETWEEN HIM OR ME! I LOST !

Is it that difficult to say men can have Narcissistic Abuse Syndrome also? Us men who have been brought up by Narcissistic Mom's are more likely suffering CPTSD and Emotional Incest. Without escaping this Toxic Family System most men are doomed to appear as Narcissistic.
