- Mike piles up enemies and car wrecks in GRID Legends' live-action story mode. Because you don't get to the top of motorsport's greased pole by being friends with everyone, you get there by looking out for number one. Or whatever number your own car is. Witness Mike and backseat driver Andy enter GRID Legends with exactly that mindset. Expect drama, crashes and in-depth discussion about hot dogs.

Heard you guys talking about Sue - Sue is named after Susan [Sue] Hendrickson, who first found the specimen. This is generally how specimens get their informal names. Examples: Stan, Tristan, Sampson, Scotty, Jane... Though some get names based on other things like Peck's Rex [aka The Nation's T. rex], which was found by the Fort Peck Reservoir, and Black Beauty, which was named for the beautiful obsidian color of the bones.
Remember the F in ‘GRID legends story mode’ stands for friendship
The driving videos always have the vibe of hanging with your mates chatting about anything while playing video games and I am absolutely here for it
I like how we get introduced to Mikes driver as being so good their teammate is jealous. Then the first race he crashed into everyone and rolled the truck twice.
Then after he dominated the next race by a mile suddenly his teammate says he is an amateur??

And after that he made sure she got second place…a pretty nice way to treat someone who’s jealous 🧐🤗

I appreciate that, in living up to the title, Mike is making enemies in-game with his driving, while Andy is making enemies of any audience members who actually want them to talk about the gameplay or racing by instead just talking about anything else.
I disagree. What Andy does is take what would be a standard video about two guys talking about a racing game and turn it into a "only on Outside Xbox" classic.

OX makes a lot of great content but Andy color commentating racing games is some of the absolute best. It's right up there with Mike Hitmaning.
As an Aussie who has watched many a Bathurst race, my fave part is always when a roo bounces out onto the track and gets launched by the front end of a car whose driver hadn't seen them.
It's about as Aussie as driving gets, so it's appropriate that it happens in races held here too.
Only Andy could hear Mikes passionate enthusiasm for a mental track like mt panorama and compare it to a well smoked brisket lmao
Andy and Mike plotting to stop by a used bookstore if they have a sufficient race lead is a mood.
Between them having a Wii rivalry and talking about a solid number two I'm thinking that Mike is experiencing some toilet training in his household right now.
Providing the next wwe game isn’t a glitchy mess like the last one, I’d love to see Andy make videos about it

Sadly, I think GTA is going to be about the only AAA car-centric series that allows the player to exit the vehicle. There's The Long Drive, but it's not really the same, Cyberpunk 2077... is there racing in Cyberpunk?

I think they do a 'behind the scenes' for wrestling, it just usually goes out as news, instead of drama for tv.
