I made it a point to be watching the WNBAs Skills Competition earlier today & WOW - what a Treat! I had been hoping that both Sabrina (Duck) AND Sami Whitcomb (Seattle) would make the Final 3 & would be HAPPY if either had won, but oh MY, no way did i expect the kind of SHOW that Sabs put on, it was literally Unworldly!! PS: 1pm, seriously?! That's the time the Powers thought would be good to squeeze this in?? Spare Me your graciousness ESPN.

Great display of shooting mechanics: 1) Early targeting with the eyes to register a primary focal point, 2) slight dip of the ball to gain rhythm before going up to shoot, 3) springing off the balls of the feet to get power after getting balance , 4) commitment to the left hand thumb flick for additional power and alignment (which is unorthodox, YET is how Steph Curry shoots, 4) and keeping the shooting elbow close to the torso before locking it completely out to ensure a straight shot. Caitlyn Clark probably has a similar shooting form. A lot can be learned from this.

What she did was amazing for anyone BUT to be fair to Hodges, she's shooting from closer and with a smaller ball.
The NBA three pointer is 22-foot in the corners and 23-foot, 9-inch line elsewhere. The WNBA has a 20-foot, 6-inch line
