@@VasilyMusic well, our first show 2011- was well attended (700x) because we had a previous band in the 80s (Rael) so we were "known". We began with few instruments, each one put their own, after that we kept investing, improving our sounds... Nowadays you can do it all with cheap midi controllers and a good set of computer sounds!
I was sure they were going to mess up, first, at Gabriel's voice... then they got it right... So I checked for Collin's drumming... and there it was. Wait, they're going to mess up Bank's (Mr Genesis) mellotron... but no, they got it right on the spot. And the guitars! Eyes closed, it was magical period Genesis once again. I immediately liked.

They are outstanding and the addition of Steve is fantastic. Steve kindly steps aside to let their guitarist play they solo perfectly. This is probably one of the hardest Gabriel era songs to sing and the singer does a excellent job. The drummer does those little rolls that Phil did perfectly plus all the other parts. The entire band is amazing.

Genetics es increible. Interpretar a una banda como Génesis no es juego de niños. El mismo Steve Hackett dijo alguna vez respecto de la banda que él integró que se trataba de un grupo de cinco grandes talentos, y realmente lo era, sin duda, en la composición, producción, e interpretación de sus obras. Que exista una banda como Genetics no es una humorada o simple imitación, sino la necesaria labor de rescatar y mantener la herencia cultural que dejó el mejor rock prog de los años 70, que creo es la cúspide de la evolución musical del siglo XX. Así como la música clásica tradicional exige intérpretes de excepción, es justo y necesario que la música que será considerada clásica del siglo XX , también tenga a cultores de excepción como Genetics. I’m convinced there is an Argentine “Jurassic Park” facility that also cloning Peter Gabriels. All you guys are absolutely wonderful! I know you have said your original music is unlike Genesis, but please consider just a few “new Genesis songs” to let us desperate fans hear what might have been if Peter never stood on Solsbury Hill and there was never a song called, Who Dunnit. Foxtrot. My first sounds of Genesis, filtering into my young brain in the 70's, forming an expectation from everything I heard from then. Often to be disappointed. I had set the bar way too high, way too soon.

Genetics es increible. Interpretar a una banda como Génesis no es juego de niños. El mismo Steve Hackett dijo alguna vez respecto de la banda que él integró que se trataba de un grupo de cinco grandes talentos, y realmente lo era, sin duda, en la composición, producción, e interpretación de sus obras. Que exista una banda como Genetics no es una humorada o simple imitación, sino la necesaria labor de rescatar y mantener la herencia cultural que dejó el mejor rock prog de los años 70, que creo es la cúspide de la evolución musical del siglo XX. Así como la música clásica tradicional exige intérpretes de excepción, es justo y necesario que la música que será considerada clásica del siglo XX , también tenga a cultores de excepción como Genetics. Mucha energía y larga carrera para ustedes!

Did you see Steve and his band? I saw them twice this year. They are very tight, well worth seeing. Not better or worse. Both bands are amazing.

I’m convinced there is an Argentine “Jurassic Park” facility that also cloning Peter Gabriels. All you guys are absolutely wonderful! I know you have said your original music is unlike Genesis, but please consider just a few “new Genesis songs” to let us desperate fans hear what might have been if Peter never stood on Solsbury Hill and there was never a song called, Who Dunnit. Foxtrot. My first sounds of Genesis, filtering into my young brain in the 70's, forming an expectation from everything I heard from then. Often to be disappointed.
I had set the bar way too high, way too soon.
quite simply in Genesis from day one and i like Steve. I have all Steves albums including Highly strung. Hes a vastly talented musician. Why this?
