2 minutes into this my daughter asked what I was doing. Wife took one look and said “dad is getting more bad jokes from Mr Pete” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
good one..
I'm sure all agree here, Pete, that we deeply appreciate the extra work you do to create so many and diverse video angles for us to "tag along" with you there on your fine family farm!!! Your new drone videos also enhance the grand experience of seeing you, and that dear old "H", carry out a pleasant day's work together!!! THANKS SO MUCH!!! ;o)
I grew up on a Super C , an M , & a Gas 400, my brother still has the Super C, but now has a restored M , & 400, these tractors are bullet proof... Excellent video, 👍
I could listen to that H all day long!
I love all the different camera angles. A very good way to teach.
Loved the old H. We had one and my dad loved it, was a do all piece of equipment. We also had a 1938 A JOHN DEER. Neither tractor was electric start. The A had more power but dad hated it. I learned on our little 9n Ford. It was a joy. I'm almost 72 years old and retired in SPAIN, reflect kindly on these times.
I miss the farm life and enjoy your show immensely.
Pete, My Mother-in- law, Vivian, (rest her soul) used to tell the same goofy jokes as you. (We called them Vivian jokes) Listening to you tell the same type of jokes brings back wonderful memories. Really enjoy your channel!
Pete have you heard the rumor about butter? If not, I’m not going to spread it.
Hi pete I love the h the most
You have the best brand tractors any farmer could ever have on his farm ., keep up the hard work and the jokes .
Good looking field of hay. Thens the best rakes you can use in my opinion
I agree. New Holland is the Cadillac of rakes.
Its nice to see that old H on the job,and that looks and sounds like a good one.Seeing and hearing the H work in the hay field take me back 45 plus years when our H did all the hay bine cutting and all the square baling on both of our farms .We used our F 20 to rake with and load hay wagons.Although I still use my H brush hogging, and what not,Im in the prosess of restoring it.Not to much takes me back to my teenage years more than driving the H.Good video! and also i really liked The video you did on the working of the F20.we used the F20 for many years and from watching your video,we where not doing the maintenence right, therefore it never run right.Well keep the videos coming!
Bought my first tractor yesterday, hopefully I can offer this service of cutting hay for people as a side gig for my farm.
Keep those jokes coming, fellow father's unite with bad jokes!
Running those old tractors look so satisfying
Baled hay for my sheep and goats for the first time this weekend. Used the farms New Holland Model 66 with a Wisconsin 2 cylinder engine. What a pita but we got it done. Love the channel and keep it up!
I love my 39 and 40 Farmall H tractors, I couldn't imagine owning one brand new
Pete you are so funny you tell some funny little jokes and some are corny but funny too. I always enjoy watching your channel.
remembering the days of old equipment fixing them up greasing replace old serts put some new tires on bearing or something needed paint people thought i bought it new with the paint from the road it did when i sold it i got more than when it was new and used it for twenty or more years pete thanks for sharing god bless
I learned on a H as well. Even with bigger tractors on the farm now it's still my favorite. They're very comfortable and relaxing tractors to work with.
I grew up driving a H too, I enjoy watching your videos
Beautiful!!! Wish I could smell that hay!
Love it when one can rake hay and have the baler right behind. That's the good times when the whole family is involved.
Enjoyed the video. Brought back memories. Never raked with an H Farmall, though. But I have with an M Farmall, and a couple different B John Deeres, and an A John Deere, and a 60 John Deere, and a 630 John Deere, and a 730 John Deere, and a 35 Ferguson, and a 175 Massey Ferguson, just to name a few. Always loved to rake hay. Keep up the good work!
Anyone else go to sleep listening to the tractor? Need a compilation of the entire cutting bailing. Just equipment and farm noises. I'd play that on a loop when I sleep or on my tv for white noise
Might be a good way to rack up views?
I made a video of just the tractors working: czcams.com/video/3zIae6-p6iQ/video.html
My friend farmer has a Farmall H like this one,a 1953!It was stored in a neighbor barn and we pulled it to the farm and we used it to rake and carry wagons with it;a funny fact:we always filled it up with gas and 2 times coming back from raking hay i pulled up in the farm driveway and the engine shutted off...gas tank empty!!!lol
I agree I grew up on an
H as well. they run forever and sip fuel. Love the sound as well.
Dude I'm so glad I found your channel been searching for a long time fkrr this kind of entertainment,I know what u meant when u talk about that being the best tractor I had a 48 Farmall super C that was fully restored and it was the most reliable best running tractor that I have ever had I loved and injoyed it very much so thanks for all the great content.
I gotta say these videos put me in a good mood !
Your drone shots are amazing. I love the super high overhead drone shots you take of you working your hay fields. Keep these great shots coming !!!!!
Love the videos awesome IH equipment action and funny jokes along the way!
We used an H on my grandparents farm in the late '40's and early "50's. It was such a thrill when I got turned loose by myself. I couldn't understand why some people called that work !In the mid-west, however, we called that a side delivery rake.
I know the feeling I grew up raking hay with our super m, I miss that tractor. Now I rake hay with a super c.
Your haybine did a great job clipping that lodged hay ! Have a great day Pete thanks for sharing !
Your jests qualify as "Granddad Jokes". Those are "Dad Jokes" taken to the next level. But don't stop. Your groaners are a lot of fun.
You mean they're full "groan"?
I wish I was born earlier to have visited my Grandaddy's farm... After I got married my wife's great uncle who was in his 80s used to take me and the babies in their carriers in the wagon for a tractor ride. The only problem was he had a hole rusted in the exhaust below the muffler so the fumes would blow right into my face!...
Brings back fond memories for myself raking hay with our H my dad bought new in 1946 at my Uncle's IH dealership in Chandler Mn. My oldest brother got it next, now his son has it.
I really love a good fluffing from an old fluffed.
love to listen to those old tractors.
Love the Drone shots. The sounds of the old iron doing just what they were designed to do so many years ago. So simple in design.
I love the sound of that H!
Pete.... your posts are often the only bright spot in my work day. This is, by far my favourite u-tube channel 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🇨🇦
Those high, birds eye view, drone shots are amazing.
Nothin better than a little H! Best hay rain tractor ever! Your jokes are GREAT.
I like your channel,, it is great seeing you use the older Farmall IH tractors, making a living and enjoying life.
Love your videos, Im 27 and I find myself chuckling at your jokes, even if you seem to find them stupid after telling them xD
Great to see all these old machines working as they should! Keep it up Pete! :D
I really love to sit back on a Sunday night and watch your videos.Good job to you and Hillary
The hay is looking good and it looked like it was an exceptionally good day to be making hay.
JUST INTRODUCED MY SONS TO PETES JOKES, WE LOVE THEM :)
Pete, I love watching your channel - I grew up in the country and you do the same kind of farming I remember from my childhood. I’m sad that modern agribusiness is so detached from the practices that respect and work in balance with Mother Nature.
Just bought 2 piglets yesterday because I’ve learned from y’all, should be some good bacon and sausage here in 8-9 months!!! Thanks for everything
Enjoyed your hard work. Thanks for the fresh air and the happy learning. Praise God for the sun and farmers for the food.
Love the perspective the drone gives us. I always love seeing you’ve posted a new video. Take care!❤️
Pete, we love your jokes. Good for the whole family.
I’m glad your 1st cut hay went better than mine. I had to let 3 fields go due to my baler not working. Now they are calling for a week of rain
Enjoyed the clean humor during tractor therapy Pete. In both videos...take care fella.
Those are some beautiful windrows Pete.
Oh boy! lol (Shaking my head) #2 pencils? WOW! lol
Great video! Great old machines that last just about forever. Amazing!
Pete I just bought some shirts, Thank You for having 4 XL TALL. They fit and look great.
I'm sure I'll be ordering more in the future. Love your Channel !!!!
Thanks Chris!
Nice hay good cutting job. Have a great day.
I've never used an H but to me, they are the perfect medium size Farmall. Large enough for heavy work while small enough for row crop work. At some point in my life, I would love to cultivate with one with the 2 row front mounted cultivator. Great video as always Mr. Pete! 😊👍👍 Those drone shots are priceless!
drone shots are nice 👍
Its nice to see a person enjoying their work with a sense of humor.
I had a 51 H loved driving it also
Short and sweet, with the melodic accompaniment of the H.
Nothing beats tractor therapy. Love the channel Pete.
Hope your day is going well Pete
He must be like me. He don't never answer nothin
Pete I feel you called my local farmer buddy lol, I got the call yesterday to unload 3 huge wagon loads of hay. Boy was it hot in the hay loft. Great channel and videos Pete
First tractor I ever drove solo was a A/C wd45 and a rake just like that. I was 7
I love watching on your H. Reminds me of a friend of mine. He restored a '41 H in high school as an FFA project. He still runs in when he can. He really loves that tractor. I've run it some. Good simple work tractor.
As you say the tedder fluffs up the hay to help air flow through the hay. I heard it the tedder also folds the stalks of the hay. This folding of the stalks breaks and exposes the fibers for faster drying. My grand father used to also run the tedder down a row after it was raked up in a row.
I really like your hay raking technique!
Couldn't agree with you more.
Dad had purchased a new H, cultivator, sickle bar mower, and several more implements in 1948.
It was 20 years later I learned to drive it.
What a pleasant little tractor.
Pete you are a hoot my friend. I enjoy your slapstick comedy. I really enjoy you, your family and you way of life. Keep up the hard work.
Just purchased a '41 H, and am looking forward to someday learning how to do this. 💜
Reminds me of my grandfather's Super H that he has that runs but is a little stubborn, in a couple months I might start a farm at my great uncle's house with the tractor
Love that I love the sound of that rig what a memory from my childhood I was used to run a rig like that thank you.
That's just about the right level of drone video for me. Not too much, just in little spurts, mostly video from other sources. I like it.
Love the old equipment.
Really enjoying these old school farming videos. We have a '47 Farmall C on the homestead.
Hi Pete, thanks again for your great video’s. I can still not understand why these nearly zero-turn tractors were so populair on the large fields in the States and nowhere to be gound elsewhere, at least not in Europe. What a nice combination of machinery! Greetings fronm the Netherlands!
Thanks for making this video, I could listen to that H run for hours , also you make me laugh. Have a great day.
Those are my favorite hay rakes.
Nothing more satisfying than perfect hay weather
We've had the same weather here in central Vt. I like what your doing Pete. Grew up on a dairy farm then since the service I've had sheep, horses and chickens and enjoyed all of them. Be well.
Hi Pete, love your channel, and glad for the falling of of the 1st rung of ladder!!
Watching from Brazil
I love your videos keep them coming.
Great drone shots
Years ago there was a show, The Gong Show. There was a comedian on there named The Unknown Comic. Your jokes are reminiscent of his. 😂😂😂
Back in the late 60s & early 70s I raked a lot of hay and wheat straw with a Super C Farmall and a New Holland rake similar to yours. I think the C drove even easier than the H.
Did the hay cutting with an Oliver 77 and a #7 John Deere sickle-bar mower.
Great drone shots!
Great jokes Pete. Laughter the best medicine. Great video. 💚💙❤️💜
Pete, love the channel. Great content. I’m a FAA licensed drone pilot, Part 107. I just wanted to mention that flying a drone for a business requires a Part 107 license. The FAA does fine you tubers if they find out they are flying without a license. I just wanted to bring it to your attention in case you didn’t know. Keep up the great work.
Nice bird's eye view
You are a tractor legend Pete. Keep up the great videos. Very informative!
I had an "H" . My "H" also had a "suicide knob." I very much enjoy your videos.
What is a "suicide knob"?
Pete, you can walk, talk, chew bubble gum, and fly a drone all at the same time... 😎😎🚜👍
I miss driving a tractor it’s been years since I’ve been in one thanks for sharing buddy god bless everyone
Another great video Pete! I first grew up learning to drive on a Farmall M. Last week I purchased my own M. Needs a little tlc but I hope to use it to do my raking too!
Nice job with the raking
Yeah I remember that wine in the H, thanks to those old straight cut gears.
