Love seeing the small teams score big tries
I think the try by Amato Fakatava is one of the best tries I have seen, not just for Japan or in the tournament. Excellent piece of play and a try any winger would be proud of, much less a lock!
That was the pick of the lot, best try scored by a second row that I know of
our best try was hands down when Jesse Kriel sent that ball to Kolbe in the SA vs France match
100%
Truecase
that was probably the most godliest grubber I've ever seen
Couldn't agree more. Manie's no-look boot was cool, but not the "best" Springbok try of the tournament by any measure. All the Springbok tries in the France match were way more thrilling that this. Even RG Snyman's "chicken wing" try against England outclasses this. But, World Rugby's gonna World Rugby.
* raspberry *
Second best was Damien De Allende Vs France. This no look try isn't even amongst our top 5 tries.
weird choices for best tries to be honest.... I think the NZ try where Mackenzie kept the ball in play to Jordan was way better than Teleas try. Also Bundie had a few excellent tries way better than Hansens. I'd argue the try where Kriel grubbered it through to Kolbe and Penauld ate grass trying to chase him was SA's best try.
You know World Rugby. Clueless.
Awesome. I especially love the tries from the second tier teams and the rugby fans in the stadiums always get behind because we love the underdog even if it's your own team they're scoring against. And it must be said, the second tier sides played so well this tournament, all of them did.
Looking forward to 2027!
Thank you for a great RWC 2023.
For South Africa Kolbe's try v France was much better!!!
Argentina interception try was better because it also sealed off a nail bitting semi final against as tough team
Pollard is solid and reliable; creative Manie's our ad lib Bok.
Unpopular opinion but I like Ah Wong's crosskick try more than Arendse
Sure it doesnt have the no look kick but the kick itself is placed so perfectly and caught as well is so satisfying to watch
overall Fakatava's try is my favourite alongside Sorti's
Ah Wong's try was beautiful.
I think I might prefer Marta's for Portugal in the Fiji game. Storti noticing the blind side was wide open and Marta's perfectly timed run are just wonderful
Even tries. Everyone likes different flavours. I allowed my instincts to choose here. Looked at them all, didn't over-think it. All good. Fakatava Japan v Argentina. My eyes savour it most.
Disagree with ABs best try. The one that should have made this highlights reel is the one where Dmac kept it in play brilliantly on the right hand touchline. That was magic!
Here for the Libbock kick 😍
Sorry but scotland's best try was the end to end score against Ireland. Should also be a contender for try of the tournament
The libbok 👌
Arata, Fakatava, and Pellegrini, all incredible individual efforts!
凄すぎてワールドカップ以上の戦いに見える
Fakatava with the best try of the World Cup
Great tries, left the best til last.
Tagitagivau try against Wales is my best one...
Australia needed the Georgian clean break runner to turn around and (colour-blindly) pass them the ball.
We all know Englands best try was Courtney Lawes' off Joe Marler's head
True! Hadn't seen that before.
How was Ireland's not Hugo Keenan's try against Scotland?
Telea is a beast
He's good but that's definitely not the correct word to describe him
@@JaemanEdwards he literally runs through multiple defenders. i dont know what else id call him other than something along those lines.
That's why he's breakthrough player of the year 2023
lol at Australia's best try. was that really the best they could find?!
says a lot that their best try was just cos the other team fucked up
Fakatava try🔥🔥🔥🔥
It would have been nice for Squidge Rugby to do analysis of this video...
Hi World Rugby - when will the bans go out to the coaches/players who publicly criticised the refereeing or is this only something that applies to SA?
Not surprised that was Australia's best try (a direct pass from the opponent to their prop). Did the Wallabies score any other tries?
Great to see the Wallabies score a spectacular try against a second tier nation.
Saved the best for last😂
Isn't Taniela Tupou OFFSIDE when he got that ball @ 01:00 ?
came here to say the same he was offside indeed
This one Ah Wong try man
Free my man Squidgy plz Mr.President
we have all those spectacular tries and then there's the Wallabies' try...
I'm surprised they could find an English try😂😂😂😂...thought they gonna go with a drop kick...
PORTUGAL 🇵🇹.
best try Chile Japan
poor Namibia... they were on the receiving end on alot of these tries
Storti best try for me
how on earth is will Jordan's solo try were he beats 2 defenders and kicks it over the follow 2 to score not on here :(
World Rugby are clueless. They prove it time after time.
Pellegrini's is the best
Pellegrini framed lupin's father🙄
I thought south africas best try was in the final... ohhhhh Wait 😅

Hello! Just another request to let creators use video content. Their analysis makes the game way more accessible and enjoyable for me to watch. Your analysis is okay too, but worse than theirs, so does less to grow the sport. Thanks!
Wales best try of the wc
what??? argentina scores a much better team try on the same match against japan. hilarious
Independent creators grow your user base. It’s called social media.
Either Italy or Wales must win the best try of the Tournament award!!
Portugal still peak
These are best tries of the pool stages…… not the WC
Interesting how there's no highlight reel for the best penalty kicks of the world cup - there is no excitement like a try and long range rugby tries are the best sport you can get. To prevent future world cups becoming penalty fests and to produce the running rugby that fans love, world rugby has a very simple option - reduce the value of a penalty to 2 points
you obviously don't understand rugby. Penalties are meant as a costly deterrent for teams to not commit fouls or infringements. If they reduce the value of a penalty, it will mean teams will be less inclined to play within the laws of the game, you will see players standing offside everywhere, tackles going in head height constantly and players running constant interference, all of which prevents "free flowing rugby". For you to have that dream of "free flowing rugby" teams need to play within the rules as the cost of conceding a penalty helps with the flow of the game as two penalties is more damaging than one unconverted try.
Exactly right. Reducing the punishment for being offside for example will lead to an increase in players doing exactly that. @@stanedgie5910
I hear you but I think the yellow and red cards cover that@@stanedgie5910
Lol if thats the aussies best try....
