That Thorburn penalty is unbelievable. No kicking tee or sand back then, old heavy wet leather ball, heavy wet surface (not like the pitches of today), 70s boots - it really shouldn't have been possible.

The longest unbeaten spell in international rugby is 24 Tests by Cyprus (Nov 2008 to Nov 2014).
It’s 30 as the red roses got that over the last few years but still Cyprus coming in second is very impressive!
Devin Toner was not the tallest player, Richard Metcalfe, aka Too Tall, was 3cm taller (2.13m vs 2.10m)

The bench record is "only" 200kg, it's not so surprising for a 135kg player. For example Julien Ory, top 14 player weighing only 95kg did the same... I think other massives players can do better...
