Clarke Mcgrath I got to see it- I liked a lot about it. The performers did a wonderful job with what they were given. The songs were pretty, but not particularly memorable. And I wasn’t fond of the neon colors for the stepsisters.

Hi! This was a local production back in early 2019 at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, GA! I did get the chance to see it, and it was a wonderful production. Alliance shows often run shows on the way to Broadway. (Thank Alliance for The Prom, Hadestown, and more!)

I was lucky enough to see this on opening night at the alliance, it was one of the best musicals i’ve ever seen! The acting and energy was top notch and Sierra was fabulous. I’ve seen shows on broadway and national tour productions, but this show was so fun and I hope they release a recorded version so I can watch it again!!

@Laurens Senpai it's a fairly small theater in Atlanta Georgia actually. Was kind of surprised to find out it had such a big name star like Sierra! It was also where they opened "The Prom" before it got picked up for Broadway

@@beatricewilliams3620 I'm not sure about the stage version, but the film takes place in France and uses real life french figures in history. In fact, Prince Henry was supposed to marry a spanish princess in the story. In addition, most traditional Cinderella stories takes place in France.

I love this. It's got that old time Broadway thing going for it. The music, the costumes. It's so colorful. I miss fairy tale or fantasy based things with colorful old-timey clothes. And guys in tights rather than leather pants. That's a huge plus for me. The song is so simple and light and not bombastic which is refreshing. It's nice to have a new show where everything isn't so in your face.
I clicked for Sierra. I was not disappointed. This was really funny, and the acting and singing was great.
How did I not know they made a musical out of my absolute favorite Cinderella story, Ever After? And starring Sierra too? How can I see the whole thing?

This is such a wonderful musical! So glad to see it was recorded. Yes, if the Alliance theatre needed an online fundraiser, I would contribute to any 'pay per view' or other form of showing of this incredible production. Streaming perhaps? Even a good old-fashioned DVD? 😊
After watching this for the 30th time do you know what I love?? The ensemble in the background. Their facial expressions as they gradually stop talking and listen in to the ridiculous conversation just make this so much funnier 😂

I just rewatched the movie this was based off of. I hadn’t realized it was based off that movie because I haven’t watched it for years and I saw this later. I so wish their was a full version of this somewhere this one scene is awesome.
