I know every breath taken in this film. I can recite every word. To say this movie shaped me is an understatement.
Get a life
I have a core memory of going to see that movie with my parents when I was 8 and each of us had a whole pint of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. Don’t know how we snuck those in 😅
SAME
Same! Its just so inspiring and empowering, i watch it whenever i’m having a bad day or even on a great day. I’m obsessed!
@@cgill914 same!
"There was a bee." One of my favorite scenes. It was done is such a brilliant way.
😂❤
mine will always be
"Margarette .. i dont believe . uve met . my . wife"
I can totally hear this in her voice 😂
I giggle at this scene every time I watch the movie 😂
I love this movie
Ever After is one of my favorites movies I've ever seen. From my POV, this movie is THE best version of Cinderella's fairytale story that was ever made. I'm 32 yrs old and I still loving it so deeply. That's a shame that in my country, Ever After isn't on streaming.
"A bird may love a fish, signore. But where will they live?"
"Then I shall have to make you wings."
❤
I agree with you! I love everything about this movie and it's been one of my favorites since I was 8 years old, and I'm 33 now ❤
I’m 32 too and it was one of my favorite movies ever 😍
It's streaming free on CZcams now as of 11 days ago
Agreed!
Agreed! Have watched it every year since I was a little kid and now am in college! I have it on dvd but when I want to watch it on my computer I use solarmovies😉
It is hard to believe that it has been 25 years!!!! Such an awesome movie, so well done.
Yes, everyone does not look 25 years older, especially Melanie and Megan!
Verdade 😊
It's so weird seeing Megan so down to earth and nice and loving! Especially in her costume where I'm so used to seeing her play this cruel, horrible awful step-sister!
I had the same thought! 😅
Exactly!! 😂
She Really comes across as Such a down to earth, very sweet person.
I have always, always, *always* said that she doesn’t get enough credit-her portrayal of Marguerite is one of the greatest “mean girl” roles in cinematic history. She deserves her flowers 💐
Right? Lol
I really wanted Drew Barrymore to get an Oscar nomination for this film. I know Renaissance was in vogue at the time, but her dramatic Cinderella was so worthy, and even her drive into serious romantic drama. This film was a game-changer.
That being said, Drew, I love you!
I was so disappointed Drew didn’t get the Oscar that year for this film. I love Ever After & still watch it again & again. Loved Dougray as the Prince so much too. When he puts the slipper on her foot near the end is the best!
Was she nominated? It's not what I would call an Oscar performance, but it was a great performance from her and I still love the movie.
Yes she was, but was up against Gweneth Paltrow who won that Oscar for Shakespeare in Love.
Verdade 😊 ela não ganhou 😢
@@fhlfssrecognition 😢poxa que pena ela deveria ter ganhado 😊
Ever After is just one perfect film. Everything in it is perfect. The soundtrack, the landscapes, the costumes, the characters, THE ACTORS, the editing, the story, the research, and of course the main message of the film to all boys and girls out there. It's all just PERFECT and it will never get old.
What a joke.
How have none of these gorgeous people have aged a DAY in 25 years!?!?! They still look so perfect in their costumes! 😍
Plastic surgery, injections, fillers😂
They also use the foreskin of circumcised baby boys as a facial serum 🤮
Makeup
My mom would have been over the moon at this reunion. We loved watching Cinderella movies together and Ever After was one of our favorites. It has been almost 18 months since she passed and things like this make me think of those moments we had together.
Sorry for your loss
RIP Sweet Mommy
My mother and I didn't see eye to eye often, and my childhood was less than idyllic with her, but when we'd watch Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, and Ever After, somehow we bonded. It's been 6 years ago I lost her, but I can hold on to those memories of watching these films to feel closer to her. I'm sorry for your loss.
@@DevahBluJasmine I'm sorry for yours. My mom and I had a ton of movies and shows we would watch together. Watching them now is hard, but I love all of the memories I have associated with them
I'm so sorry. My mom and I love this movie. I so wish you could have had this moment together.
The BEST Cinderella story EVER
I am so happy to see this reunion, bringing back all the memories. Everyone seems like wonderful people.
What a fun reunion for a great film. It would have been so nice to see Angelica Huston also.
How can anyone love a pebble in their shoe - my favorite line 😅🤣
Haha, mine too! I say it all the time when I am minorly inconvenienced, lol!
Dougray still takes my breath away.
I absolutely love this film. A big part is definitely what Drew said: "you don't have to put one gender down to empower the other." Beautiful take on the Cinderella story. Exquisite dialogue too. Thank you for this reunion!! Makes me so happy. 💗
Plus, the story how you got Angelica is hilarious and fantastic. She must have laughed heartily at that.
Before I see the next clip, I will guess Megan took the brooch? Or maybe the brush...
I think what's nice is that you had both Danielle and the Prince having their own storylines and character arcs even when they were away from each other. And neither denigrated the other in any way.
I still quote this movie so much, "there was a bee!", "go..catch a chicken" 😂😂😂 i mustve watched this movie a hundred times the year it was released❤❤
“Why is it men never stop for directions?” “I shall go down in history as the man who opened a door!” “I shall deny you the crown and…live forever!”
They all aged beautifully. And that dress, still craving for a replica. Just breathe
I remember watching Ever After with my brothers. We would all recite Anjelica's witty and funny lines by heart. We even got my sister-in-law doing the same thing. The film is really ahead of its time. The cast was phenomenal and to this day, Ever After is one, if not the best, Cinderella films ever made. Ever After is timeless and is still relevant today. The film itself is a treasure trove of one liners that anyone can use in their daily lives. It is on the top 5 list of my favorite films along with The Mummy and The Mummy Returns.
A wonderful reunion of "Ever After: A Cinderella Story" After all these years!
I loved it when Dougrays only response was, “well, there you have it, release the man,“ to Drews very articulate rebuke...Makes me laugh every time
This was perrrrfect. Like a dance.
Love this movie. What a cute reunion. Wish Anjelica was there too. That would make everything perfect.
The acting in this film was absolutely incredible!
I absolutely love Everafter. I was obsessed when it came out and I watched so many times. "Just breathe..." my favorite part. 💘
That's my favourite part too ❤
This movie had some ICONIC lines and scenes this film will always be an important piece of my childhood 😭
Still one of my favorite movies to this day!
BEST CINDERELLA ADAPTATION!
The scene that Daniel help her old man from selling to be a slave back to the house of his family. And they ran to hug and scream with tear together.Always always make me cry. This is the best Cinderella film ever to me ❤
How do they all look so fabulous after 25 years? Used to watch Drew’s films on video when I was depressed and would laugh and cry, they all still hold up particularly well his film, Wedding singer and Never Been kissed. I just adore this film, beautiful, funny and an empowering message to females to live without waiting for someone to rescue you, save yourself and be your own hero.
Even my hubby loves Everafter and we rewatched it few months ago. I love Drew’s talk show but hope she returns to the big screen soon. Brilliant cast. Brilliant movie. Brilliant interview. ❤
the answer is: Botox.
Melanie hasn’t aged a day. 😳🤩
Fun fact, she's married to Jason Ritter, John Ritter's son. :)
I love the fact that Drew brought up the Hollywood history of the Barrymores and the Hustons.
My most favorite fairy tale adaptation of all time. You were so charming in it. ❤
Such a good and clean film and such talent with the entire crew !!!!! When there isn't all that trash in a film, YOU KNOW IT TAKES REAL TALENT !!!!!! THESE ACTORS REALLY ACTED !!!!! After all these years, I'm still watching this GEM !!!!!!
This is one of my favorite movies ever. I have watched it so many times. It never gets old. I love yall so much. Such beautiful people. And beautiful people just don't happen every day. You know. Awesome movie.
My little nieces love this movie. The most surprising thing to them was that "one of the stepsisters was nice!"
I love that, for as strong as Danielle is in the film, she’s flawed as well - far from perfect - and Henry, even though flawed, is no weakling. They come together in strength, and that’s why this film has endured
The stepfamily was also very talented!
I have literally watched this movie 8 times in a row, over 3 days - I LOVE this move!
I was 14 when this movie came out and I loved it then, and I love it even more now. They just don't make sweet, beautiful, romantic movies like this anymore, and those gowns....😍😭. I was obsessed. Everyone looked like something out of a pre-raphaelite painting. Just stunning!
Drew and Drew’s team! PLEASE RELEASE THE WHOLE EPISODE! Ever After is my favorite DB movie and to watch it all in one setting would be a awesome and wholesome binge. Thank you.
They all look so great after 25 years. My favorite Cinderella film.
I just LOVE Drew Barrymore ❤. Ever since I saw her in E.T. And in this movie Ever After she was stunningly beautiful 😍
I was about 10 years old when I watched it. And the dresses, the action and the acting was and still is my favorite!!
This film is THE most amazing story and I love it... I've seen it more than 100 times and never get enough!
🙋🏻♀️
I feel silly to say this but I'm a old fashioned guy and I thoroughly enjoyed Ever After! It is great story telling that some Cinderella remakes lack. It's my top Cinderella film of all time...
Greatest film of all time.
One of my favorites growing up!! Loved Drew in this one! Angelica played her part very well! Loved the sisters - Everything was great!
THIS!!! THIS IS THE BEST CINDERELLA VERSION EVER!!!!
I can quote every line! And I still watch it every time I get a chance to. Love this film and the entire cast. The impact this film has is hard to describe.❤
I love the fact, these actors, had such joy making this movie, and it had such an impact on their lives
This is my comfort movie and I'll always love it because the girl saves herself
And what's really great about it is, like they said, the other gender wasn't stepped on. In fact I see the script as he pulling him up as she rises and expecting more of him than he's used to, even as a prince who is actively fighting the expectations on his shoulders
beautifully said.
I adore this movie. My VHS copy got me through some rough times in ‘99-2000.
My favorite movie period. Only one I can watch over and over.
The casting was amazing!!! Angelica was the best step mother. She acted more human. I loved the dynamic of the family. One sister was nice. And there was also still boundaries between them. This was demonstrated In the scene when they felt awkward because she caught them with her mother's gown.
It was more realistic than the other Cinderella movies!!
Omggggggg. Drew I’ve seen this movie literally 70 times ❤
This is by far my favorite movie! I still watch it when I want some down time, this is my go-to feel good movie.
this is my favorite film. I know all the words. This is so nostalgic. They haven't age. Looking great 🤍
Loved this reunion! In full costume, too! Would have been even better if Angelica could have been there, but I fully enjoyed all the behind-the-scenes stories. Forever Ever After! ❤✨
Her entrance in the movie with the wings was so epic beautiful ❤
I love this movie! How wonderful to have the reunion, thank you!
This film is basically my childhood 😭🤍 I was mesmerised by everything in the film as a child...
I still am
You have no idea how much I love this movie
Still my favorite live action version of a Cinderella story 💖
One of my favorite movies ❤
One of my very favorite movie. I don’t know how many times I’ve watched it. Each line is memorable and not cringey even after all these years.
That movie was by far the best fairytale movie! Ever!!!
Just breathe is my favorite line along with her wings and sparkling face .I really like Gustav, her best friends character. "Then I suggest you run." Swiping at her backside, with his foot, as she runs lolol.. He should have been on here too ❤
She looks exactly the same!
Everybody has aged so beautifully. I love this film so much, it's so lovely to see everybody.
Ever after is by far one of my most favorite film. I had so many emotions while watching this film. One of the greats.
Honestly, one of the best romance fairytale films. All the the actors were on point!
Loved this movie! Love these ladies. Yesss we can save ourselves and be our own hero / knight in shining armor.
OMG. Drew Barrymore had an Ever After reunion? WHY ISN'T THIS TRENDING. Breathe. Just breathe
This is genuinely my favourite film of all time and has been since I was 11 or 12. I can recite it word for word. Cinderella is my least favourite Disney princess, so it’s ironic that this is my favourite movie, but I think the reason why is because Danielle saves herself. She didn’t wait around for the prince. It’s just an amazing take on the classic story.
If Henry hadn't come for Danielle, she would have had quite a difficult time. She could not go back to the manor and had very few allies. Maybe Le Pieu would have changed his mind and started to pursue. Danielle could have survived this, but it would have been an entirely different story.
@@atanasi
Exactly! She has the biggest smile on her face after she saved herself but you can actually SEE the relief wash over her when she sees Henry. It’s like she’s thinking oh good, I didn’t really know what I was gonna do next.
But she also does have her bestie and Leonardo I’m sure they would have helped her.
I have watched this movie so many times!! Probably the best live action version of Cinderella.
I love this reunion so much! Hard to believe it's been that long, it feels like it was yesterday! And they all still look the same!
They still all look amazing even after all this time 😭💖 I remember being 7 when I first watched this film it was my 2nd/ 4th grades teachers favorite film and a lot of things she loved, I loved so much, she was such a huge mother figure growing up. Because of her I love Drew Barrymore and Ever After will always be a mystical beautiful film for me no matter how much time passes. 🥰💕✨ thanks for all of you guys giving us such a beautiful and important film that stands the rest of time 🤗❤️✨
I love this movie so much, And Drew Barrymore is such a charm! Great writing, and it takes you back to such a romantic phase! So well done! I will love this movie forever!! ♥️♥️♥️🌹
I love this movie. My favorite go go to feel good. I love every actor. Angelica did a wonderful job and I couldn't see her being the wicked step mother. She's so beautiful. All of you and the crush on the prince. I love when you pick him up after saying "Anything that I can carry. " The chemistry between you two. The stepsisters were wonderful and funny. I just love watching this version. Thank you 💘❤
I love the "Barrymore! Huston! Huston! Barrymore" part. Two very fascinating families
This is one of my favorite movies.
I still watch this movie like the first time ❤❤❤❤❤❤
One of my most favorite movies! 🥰💖 Spectacular cast! 🤩
They all still look amazing 😮
Just watched this movie for the first time in well over a decade, and it’s even more lovely and perfect than I remembered ❤
This is one of those movies I can watch over and over! ❤
It really was the first film to kick off the girl helping herself!
I had to watch it again tonight. One of my favorites!
EVER AFTER, ONE OF MY ALL TIME GREAT ENTERTAINING MOVIES. . .
Ever After is a beautiful movie! One of my favorites from Drew!!
This movie made me really happy. I'm so glad I found it for it is one of my favorite films. ❤
This movie is everything to me, I will always cherish this movie and thank you to all of you for breathing such life into the story!
to this day, this movie is one of my favourite. I still have this on VHS, DVD, Digital copy in my mac, tablet and occasionally stream on popular service. I never ger tired of this movie.
This is my favorite Cinderella story hands down! I love it so much!
My favorite movie!!! I watch every chance I get when it's on whatever streaming service it's on
dear lord "Ever After" is my feel-good movie since forever, dunnno how many times i've watched it......
This movie right here,chef’s kiss!
This is my favorite movie of all time. I am happy to see this!
i’m so so grateful for this reunion. for the past few years i’ve been getting glimpses in my mind of a movie i knew i loved in my childhood but for the life of me could not remember the name. (said glimpses were of an old man with a beard walking on water and a still of the castle lol) i saw a thumbnail or something for this reunion and immediately knew this was the movie i’ve been thinking of. i watched it again today for the first time in probably 8-10 years and omg the nostalgia i got… i literally remembered every little thing about the movie as i watched it and was soooo emotionally satisfying. i was freaking out the whole time. i’m omw to go watch it again bc omg it’s just as good as i remember. thank you drew barrymore show🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
This brings me so manny memories ❤
I LOVE this film so much! I felt like a realistic, believable retelling. Every character was human and not overdone and yet such strong characters. The love story felt true. Dugray was amazing. It's sweet and genuine and I just love it. ❤❤❤
Literally one of my favorite movies ever.
