Seriously, thank you for showing me how the crispy flower/water mixture makes that crispy skirt on the dumplings. I've made alot of dumplings but didn't know that technique.
Steam dumpling is very good, but this is just unmatched for me personally. The crispy bottom and soft top are phenomenal. Had to do a bit of editing cuz it kinda confusing to read sometime.
You came right on time. Just what i needed. I got a full bag of dumplings in the freezer just waiting for me to cook them. Hopefully they come out as good as yours. 😅
What makes a man beautiful: uploading videos like this. Thanks dude! I'm one of the thousands who has half a bag just hangin' out in the back of the freezer totally forgotten about. Tomorrow after work, I am definitely levelling up my dumpling game. Home made kimchi and sliced danmuji on the side. Yum.
This looks so good i gotta try it, ive always just thrown them in with about a tablespoon or two of water, oil, and butter (all together while cold so it doesnt spit when adding). Water creates steam (cover with a lid), butter adds a nice sear and flavor, and the oil helps keep the butter from burning before they are done. Add whatever spices or seasonings i want about halfway into the cooking so the dont burn and its perfect crispy dumplings every time
I always do this whenever we have leftover dumplings at home once the soul inside of them evaporates. Haven't made a dipping sauce like that, looks really tasty. Probably going to try this out later.
I will toss some on a baking sheet and put them in my countertop convection oven for about 20 minutes! Nice and crispy! With sweet chili sauce! The best!
these Bulgogi dumplings my wife buys are delicious , some frozen foods are good , we also get really good spring rolls , its rare but some frozen items are good.
I love the dumpling prep. It's my favorite way too. What I dont get is the flour water...what does that add? Oh and your sauce is Fabulous! But what is that flour water about. Please enlighten me, I'm honestly curious..not critical.
sorry to disappoint but those dumplings are frozen.. do you give yourself great chef compliments when you put chicken nuggets in the oven and they come out crispy. the technique he used is all over the internet im sorry to disappoint again.
EVERY time going to Costco buying them, they have really good Asian frozen stuffs , always get some of them , Loves Asian foods🥰😘 BUT never done them this way wow
Thank you. I'm keen to try this method. Is there any chance you could include quantities in the 'Comments' or the 'Description' sections? Being a novice means without more a specific recipe, I never get the experience to then modify for my own taste preference.
I buy these all the time to make won ton soup. I have Adrenal insufficiency that makes it difficult to retain salt. Salt tablets, electrolyte tablets and stuff are all over my house and car and bug out bags along with emergency injection and pill form steroids. When i feel my bp dropping, hubby would always fix me a roman noddle cup or something. This is so much better. I keep chicken better than boilion in the fridge and get a pot of water going with that. I'll add a dollap of ginger paste frome a tube and lots of thinly sliced green onions and some soy sauce. Add the frozen dumplings until warmed through and piping hot. Add lots of soy sauce to my bowl and done. Sodium IV without having to go to the hospital and much mote delicious. 😂
Yes I brown them on bottoms then lay them on their side to brown a little bit. Then they're done. Pour some Yoshidas in a ramiken or something like it, and enjoy. Maybe if you have some green onions or shallots you can add into sauce
Sir, I'm just here to THANK YOU for that pecking duck recipe. I'm puertorrican 🇵🇷 and my man is from Moldova 🇲🇩 he wanted duck for Thanksgiving and it was FABULOUS!! THANK YOU THANK YOU! you are amazing 👏🏻
Ajinomoto has a product in Japan that comes out like the final version. No need to add anything. You just need a good frying pan and the frozen dumplings from Ajinomoto
Do the same thing but use just water after the oil . Use VH medium garlic until it’s coats the dumplings and evaporates. Then dip In sweet chilly Thai sauce !!! Thank me later
Frozen dumplings are perfect as they are... that's why I eat them frozen.
Makes sense though

Try it with cornstarch instead of flour... Way crispier.
Potato starch works better than flour too!

I find that i like my frozen dumplings boiled and drenched in sauce, or simmered in a soup. Gives tgem a nice texture and flavor
Exactly, Idk about all the non stick burnt smelling stuff
Crispy is so much better

The past few months I've just been buying frozen dumplings and making a sort of won ton/chicken noodle soup with them. Fast, and filling.
I put them in my ramen....yummy
Yes I do this with the cilantro chicken mini wontons from Costco!!! Delicious

I like using Ponzu, sesame oil, chili oil and mirin for the dipping sauce. It has no chunks, but has a nice rounded light flavor.
I've made the sauce a few times. If you add half fresh green onions and half somewhat cooked green onions it adds so much more flavor. Bussin
