I grew up eating this dish as my grandma will cook for the whole family. I can vouch that Jia Li Mian has one of the best Penang Asam Laksa. Proud Malaysian here 😇
After I had migrated to Sabah four years ago and no doubt that this Jia Li Mien curry noodle and their laksa I really miss the most ...
Whenever I'm back to KL, then it is a must have food before I travel back to Sabah... How I wish they had a branch in Sandakan or maybe JV with me.... wakakakakaka..
Hahaha the next time you visit them, you can approach them with your JV proposal hehe. And I totally agree that their noodles are good and affordable and would be nice to branch out to different areas! :)
So much preps and works before the final finish. Penang Asam Laksa is sure a Malaysia's signature dish!

Wow, yes! I remember this dish when I was travelling Penang, Malaysia back in 2017. There was a small place by the road that serves Penang Asam Laksa. It is super delicious. Omg, I miss Malaysia food 🤤
Asam Laksa looks YUM! 😋 So many effort required to produce one bowl of it. Definitely worth it at its selling price!

Bunga kantan 3 batang dan daun chendehorn atau Daun kesum rm 1.50bubuh dalam kuah Laksa. Sayur Pudina lebih sesuai di recipi tersebut, Telur Puyuh yg rebus, 50 biji, Standby umtuk buat Perhiasan di atas Asam Laksa Penang yg Champion. Ok.
