I used to go one or two of these shop sometime before covid19
I must say, that both in Malaysia 🇲🇾 and in Singapore 🇸🇬, they offers the best eateries in their food stalls in the Far East Asia.
The different is you pay 1/3 of the Singapore price when you are in Malaysia Food court !
Singapore, can't compare. They can't even make good bak kut teh 😂
Cannot compare Singapore and Malaysia, IMHO… Singapore is way better in almost all aspects of hawker food cooking, flavours and delivery. Just my unbiased opinion as I lived there for 15 years…

懐かしのペナン第2弾！Meeが様々な種類があってどれも食べてみたくなります。傘のアーケード・壁に遊び心がある絵が描いてあるところ、懐かしいです。街に活気が戻ってきていますね。料理をしている方って慣れなんでしょうけど、冷たい・熱いの耐性が強いなぁって感心します。こちらでもアツアツの器を持ってきてくれるところで秘訣を聞くと「気合です」って言ってたけどそのレベルじゃないんですよねｗ
ペナンもクアラルンプールもすっかり活気が戻りましたね！人気のお店はどこも観光客で外まで行列でした☺️
土鍋の手づかみはやはり衝撃ですね、熟練の方でも本当に熱そうだったので素人には無理だなと思いました🥺気合！

For Penang's sake, it is NOT prawn mee, it is HOKKIEN MEE
Very few stalls are considered reasonably good in old fashioned taste 古早味 with the rest is just mediocre. The food scene is changing as stalls gearing towards more quantities than quality.
Wantan mee, hakka mee, yong tau fu, dim sum cantonese cruisine better in Ipoh and KL are better.
Char kuey teow, chinese laksa, curry mee, lobak, duck kuey teow soap etc are better in Penang.

Penang street food is still ok, but in KL is not recomended
Actually, Penang street food is overrated.
Halal kah bagi muslim ?
I can easily survive in New York city with this kind of price. So cheap.
Not muslim friendly i guess except a few only😊
