  • In this Chalk Painting Furniture tutorial I’ll show you a simple step by step process of creating a Verdigris Patina Effect.
This method could be used on many different types of materials (glass, plastic, wood, metal) with different colours. I am using it on a wooden decorative column.
I am using Annie Sloan’s chalk paint:
A base color: Honfleur and Honfleur mixed with Graphite 1:1
Patina effect: Provence, Duck Egg Blue, Primer Red, Barcelona Orange, and Florence. I also mixed other brand of dark green with Annie Sloan’s Florence to get a brighter green. If you have Amsterdam Green by Annie Sloan that would be a perfect choice instead.
A saw dust is a great medium.
    Thank you for watching!

thank you so much! Red is good when it is picking out through other colors.

I am learning a lot by watching your videos and I'm thinking that not necessarily vertigly but other combinations of colors can be done to French provincial buffet cabinet. Beautiful work I always enjoy watching your videos.

just use a medium to create a texture. It could be a saltwash, sawdust, baking soda
