I don't know why all the unreal renders used by Cinecom just look like Game cut scenes. I think that's because Unreal is a game engine. BTW, great job guys
I think itâs because the frame rate is off. It looks like 30 FPS not 24, which is key for a truly cinematic look. They didnât really match the footage to the unreal engine. There should be motion blur, everything is too sharp, and some other small things would make the actor fit better in the scene. Film Riot is really good at these small things that really make the finished piece. This is still great overall though in terms of using unreal 5 for a scene like this and Iâm probably gonna follow it for a project in the near future and just add the other stuff.
Unreal can be and is used by many movie makers to make VFX much easier. Itâs really kickass when used to its full extent

Love the Unreal tutorials! I had a nthought yesterday, what if I make a virtual world in Unreal, that way I can build a scene, like the world and house/home to the main caracters for consept-art. It could be a great way of showing producers what I want to achieve, and the crew. The dream is to make a TV-series, if I make a lot of the scenes in Unreal, I can just show that in an easy way. It is fast to make as we have the library. What do you think about that?
Instead of describing the mood and the world, you just show them. Not sure how accurate it is on low/no-budget movies and series tho. Just trying to learn as much Unreal as I can at the moment :-)

I don't know if you can can add it in AE, but I think it would have looked better with a focus point blur and directional blur on the talent. He can't be all in focus....If you can't do it in AE, maybe give a chance to Fusion Studio or Nuke.

The main issue is the environmental lighting versus the practical lighting. He's evenly lit but the environment has directional lighting and shadows, none of which are affecting him as he flys. Even still, these guys make fantastic tutorials.
You are right, but I don't objective of this video if its just a demo then its ok but as in caption they want to make a realistic clip then its bad hehehehe. Its like ch is a sticker on bg. They might not spent time on clip as much as they have on editing this video hehehe
4:52 technique is Good but seriously check the light source
in this timeline sun is front of you which means sun light appear on your head... not on your butt
if you comparing your green screen with footage with Unreal Engine City walkthrough so you need to compare light source as well according

I've started using UE5 to make pictures/movies using the built-in camera. When I export it though it's just a bunch of single images that I have to put in AE / Premiere and then export that as a video. Am I missing something or is that "normal"?
That is how all movies are made.

It's perfectly normal. It is so you can start from the failed frame if the render stops. It also helps produce better quality frames.
You can import them in Adobe as an image sequence, so it will appear as one video clip. There is an option in explorer when importing to AE.
I thoroughly recommend Jordies new unreal course on skillshare. He covers rendering in detail.
If you used the 3d scan for the flight and green screen for close ups. You wouldâve had more independence in animation and the shots would be cooler. But this looks cool too nice work đđœ

That's really cool I use to believe that Super Man flew in real life when I was a kid than I thought maybe Super Man used Jet boots now I learned it's a Lab top computer the whole time I would like to see a new Super Man movie that can amaze a person like me what would they do use holograms to make him fly just a theory I always pay attention to the current audience and what they know and if they would in theory go see a new movie and be impressed by it because it makes me want to go see the new movie.Stay creative and remember talent hits a target no one else can hit but genius hits a target no one else can see.This was a great video.

Hi guys please help. When I try to fly up myself like superman taking off. My one is quickly going in way can't even see which direction the person went. I try time stretching still never get. I got both p pro and after effects

Hey guys! I realy enjoy the videos youâre doing. I just started with UE5 so Iâm super interested in that stuff.
Now when I see your approach and the steps you take to get to the final result is all the same like i would theoretically do it. Yet the outcome I see from you wouldnât satisfy me if I was your client. Because the combined footage doesnât look like it fits together. It doesnât look natural. And Iâm really wondering why. Maybe the real footage looks too crisp and too sharp? Is the camera to âstiffâ, does it need more movement? Is it not the correct angle for the camera?
Is it, that the âreal subjectâ doesnât respond to the environment around it?
Do you know what I mean?
Anyway I really love the insights of your work! Thanks a lot and best wishes

Also, the scaling is off at 7:20. He wouldn't be that big that far away from the camera, it looks strange agaisnt the buildings as he's clearly much taller than the windows.
