Since you like Pentatonix, you should check out Citizen Queen! They are an all girl group. Their version of Never Be Enough is my favorite version of the song. Also Acapop Kids is a group of kids that are amazing! Scott Hoying from Pentatonix has played a part in helping both of these groups.
You have to hear this one done by Nightwish with Tarja if you haven't. This is one written in her era originally and oh my....her voice has so much drama in it. You can play rhythms on a drum kit; very complex rhythms if you know what you're doing, but you can _not_ play a tune. Which means that drums don't count as musical accompaniment for the vocalists. Musical _backing,_ sure, but not accompaniment. Which means that hell _yes_ Van Canto is genuine, real, take-no-prisoners a capella hero metal!

You can. Acapella actually means without pitch-shifting instruments. That means you can have drums and hihats and still be called acappella.
